Friendly and quick delivery lovely food every time

the chips tasted stale and like they was from the bottom of a freezer the egg fried rice was just plain packet white rice with no egg the chicken satay looked like something i wouldn’t even feed a pig the curry sauce was thick and tasted like nothing the satay sauce tasted like nothing, only good thing was the free prawn crackers, would not recommend

Lovely little takeaway, with all the usual meals available ,good friendly service and I didn't have to wait long for my meal, easy on street parking, I will be a regular here .

We regularly order from Jade River and the service is always brilliant and the food is fantastic.

As a very rare treat we ordered a takeaway tonight. I have to say it's the worst food we've ever received. Very dry straggly hard chips , pale special fried rice with hardly any meat etc. The worst soggy chewy chicken balls I've ever tasted. Never again

Had to change my review sorry to say. This was my goto takeaway but not anymore last two meals I have had haven't been up to the standards they was before the chip are like they have been pre cooked then left to keep warm so gone dry and only fit for the bin. My wives meal was just a sauce no onion nothing.will not be using again sorry to say. The cook needs to go back to doing the food how it used to be.

Just had a takeaway,having been our go to for 2 years last 2 have been very disappointing,most has gone in the bin,tough meat,overcooked chips,sweet and sour sauce awful,has the chef changed ? New takeaway required

The best Chinese by far. Their food is amazing. We drive 30 minutes to go get Chinese from them. It is always worth the trip.

Didn't care for it , worst Chinese I've had , the chicken and pineapple tasted like nothing but vinegar, the egg fried rice was like plain rice, they are serious about COVID regulations but only do cash which isn't following the guidelines, I honestly wouldn't recommend.

If you want an authentic meal come here. The big spring rolls are to die for.

So disappointed. Received a delivery of food last night. 1st time in over a year having my parents over for food . Sat outside on decking. Thought be a nice treat. Food was pretty disgusting had to throw nearly most of it away. Call today to nicely explain my experience having used them occasionally. They just so o and started giggling down the phone. I was pretty shocked tbh No opology or anything. As you can imagine won't be using them again.

Chicken chow main, absolutely disgusting. 5% chicken, a few bits of onion 94% noodles. More nutrition in a Pot Noodle. The fried rice wasn't fried either. Altogether drove almost 4 miles to take it back. Revolting. Not good value.

Prompt friendly service and a tasty well priced menu. We enjoyed a very nice New Year's Eve meal!! Would recommend without hesitation.

I have used Jade River, King Street, Barton upon Humber for over a decade, on a weekly basis. Their food has always been excellent, and delivery service has been prompt, food order correct, with courteous service both by counter and delivery staff. At traditionally busy times, which include Saturday evenings, then orders, inline with most similar establishments around the UK can take a little longer than on a quiet weekday evening. Overall, have certainly never had cayse for concern.

2 visits now. Both times the food was very good, staff excellent.

The satay chicken is amazing at Jade River, I never go anywhere else, fresh food, piping hot, great portion sizes and lovely friendly staff.

Shop was clean and tidy. Ordered food for 3 children and 6 adults and this came to under £45. We then realised there was free delivery over a certain amount paid so had it delivered rather than wait. Food arrived quickly, nice and hot and well packed. Polite and friendly delivery man. One item missing. Rang up. They immediately cooked and delivered another. Food was delicious. Will definitely use again.

Always enjoy the food from this takeaway, doesn't make you feel sick from eating super greasy food like most of these takeaway places do. Prices are also good and staff are friendly. Can take some time to get to you though so consider ordering early.

From Sweet & Sour to the beef, duck and char sui dishes, almost everything on the menu is really nice. Only downside is the seafood dishes which tend to be rather poor in quality.

Great food, great service! Come here every time we order take out.

Good food as Chinese takeaways go, but poor delivery service. One of the meals ordered was missed off the delivery and we couldn’t get through by phone to inform them. Had to quickly cook an alternative, by which time the rest of the food was cold. Might as well just have cooked it all ourselves in the end. Disappointing experience for what was meant to be a relaxed Saturday night.

Ordered £16.00 meal no problem with delivery just the food. The chicken balls had soggy batter and a mush on the inside the beef curry was bland ended up paying 16.00 for rice, sweet and sour sauce and prawn crackers as the rest went in the bin.

Ordered meal for valentines day, 2 hours later still no food. Called after an hour and a half to see where it was to be told out with driver. Called back to cancel after 2 hours and put pizza in oven. Disappointed is an understatement.

The only Chinese take away I use. Always great delivery times..
