Best Jamaican food in a convenient park by Waterloo Station and The Old Vic. Delicious Jerk chicken, Oxtail Stew and Curry Goat. Ideal for treating yourself or family and friends for breakfast or lunch and sit on the benches in da park. Generous portions of fresh food.

I have got to this place based on a recommendation of my friend. And after experiencing the meal form the place, I would do the same. I had never got jerk chicken before visiting this place, but when I got to the stand, I heard just praises form people around. I can agree that the taste is amazing and the portion size makes you very full. There is no sitting area directly at the place, it's mostly the stand in a park. The meals are served directly in take away boxes. I ate my portion while sitting at a bench in the park. It's the best/easiest to eat the meal with your own hands, especially the chicken. Because of that, you will have your hands dirty and suitable for washing afterwards. I have found some tap with water in the park, which is very convenient for this kind of case. Expect a long queue, and I mean really long and slowly moving queue, to get your meal. Get to the place earlier, because the meals are sold out for the day at 1 PM without any problem.

Has to be up there with the best Jerk chicken in London. Incredible homemade spicy, mango sauce to top it off as well.

Only open during lunch times, I've popped here on my lunch break. They offer big tasty portions for really good value. The service is a bit slow as you might have to queue for up to twenty minutes. But the food is well worth it. If you can handle spice try their home made chili sauce, it has a nice firey kick.

Walked through this park by chance whilst staying at the Hampton Hilton on Waterloo Road. Deciced to stop and check it out as there was a queue which always indicates its good. I was not dissapointed, the atmosphere with music and the chef dancing was fantastic, the bbq smoke drifted over the park, and the big drum bbq stood proudly in the background hiding all the delightful chicken and steak. As a newbie to carribean food, i went to for the jerk chicken, with no hot sauce! just as well as it was hot for me, but i am a wimp with spices! I wish we had found this earlier on our trip, we would definetly visit again if in London, and reccomend it as an amaing takeaway during the day! Thank you guys.

For a fiver you get a large portion of rice a leg of jerk chicken fresh off the BBQ. If you think you can cope with chilli ask for the picked chlli, I can eat hot but this is killer hot. bbq sauce is the norm. Did try the curry goat, a bit salty and generally not to my taste. There is a line at eleven in the morning, so do be patient. You can sit in the park and have your meal Overall, great value, you must give it a try.
