You know you will be ripped off in a UK airport, but this was off the scale. £11.40 for a small black coffee and "Joe's Club Sandwich". The "sandwich" price, at £8.00, needed to be something special. It was pathetic. Younger people seem to favour the special juices - but stay away from the food, tremendous rip off and the most incredible over charging under delivering I've seen for many years in the UK. Under their sign in London Stansted it says "Coffee, Juice and Much More". Seeing as I had to picnic on a hard wood stool, drink from a disposable waxed take-away cup and try to eat the tiny "sandwich" half warmed in a toasting machine wrapped in greasy paper with a paper napkin, I think it's the most expensive underrated picnic I've ever had. There are proper restaurants in the airport that serve real food, on real plates and even have cutlery. If you want food, this is "Coffee, Juice and Much LESS for MUCH MORE".

The service was excellent - a bit of a wait but I was warned about it as I ordered Iced blueberry matcha latte. The staff were very polite and quick. And I absolutely loved the matcha made for me!! 👍

Ordered and paid for 3 sandwiches. After 20 minutes of no visible progress we had to abandon our sandwiches to catch our flight. Staff meanwhile were joking around with each other, with no sense of urgency. Only one person making food out of about 6 staff members. Save yourself the wasted money and frustration and go to Pret.

After taking my order for 2 coffees I went to my table to wait and wait and wait. Went to the counter to ask what was happening and its was chaos. The staff were not following any process or ordering system that was effective . One chap particularly was incredibly rude to everyone with artiste towards customers that was shocking . When they realised everyone was getting the wrong drinks or getting nothing because nobody was calling the names out , he decided to start bellowing across the counter which was unbelievable & frankly very annoying . He made a couple of smart comments to me which I didn’t appreciate . If I had been an undercover boss I would have removed him from a customer facing role that day . I wish I’d caught his name . Never ever would I return to the shambles that is this establishment. SLT must send someone in to sort this mess out. I thar

The service was lousy and the iced blueberry latte had no blueberry flavour at all. When I pointed this out, I was given some blue chemically looking liquid in a small cup to add to my drink myself. Not very clean place either.

Food and beverage is great but all the tables were filthy and not wiped down. Had to ask someone several times to clean table I was sat at. 2nd time I’ve been here and same problem.

Good coffee and good service staff are mainly friendly and seem to know how to make a good coffee. Lots of choice food as in all starbucks is expensive for what it is but cakes are not bad this is one of the better places to refresh at this service station

The most amazing Starbucks I’ve ever been too, the location is lovely and the store itself has so much character to it, my drink was made perfect by the friendly and helpful staff! The lady helped me pick out a coffee and she was so knowledgeable about coffee, it was so nice to actually talk to someone who not only knows everything about what they are selling but so passionate too! The store was clean and tidy, couldn’t fault it! I really enjoyed my coffee and reading my book here, made me feel like I was sitting at home! Will definitely be back when I’m in Saffron Walden next!

I have been going to Market House just over a year as I had moved to Saffron Walden. I've always had beautiful service with the bartenders -- such a Shona, Alex, Adam. All that staff made myself and my partner feel like family everytime we had gone there. This past weekend my partner and a friend of ours had come to market house for a night out. As the night goes went on I sat down with the owner Andy and a man called Billy -- I was then informed that Billy was also the chef at this establishment. As I was speaking to these two older men Billy became rude towards me telling me I need to 'f**k off' and leave them to their night. I'm not a violent person so I walked away and went to meet my partner to enjoy my night. Later on the night this employee called Billy tripped in front of me turned around and called me a 'C**t' I am a younger woman and was disgusted by this. He didn't stop there and kept calling me that same name. I am appalled by this behaviour from an employee who works at a place where I felt safe. It is such a shame that the owner did nothing! As I said the bartenders had always been kind -- even the bouncer Fiona was extremely kind to me. However as their own Chef can called customers 'C**ts' and get away with it makes me sick to my stomach! I have also attached a picture of the man who called me this and then ran away without an apology. Sadly it has made me think twice of coming back!
