Hidden gem, great food, hots drinks and milkshakes plus a wide selection of cakes - all in a nice spacious seating area. Happy dogs as well.

A lovely friendly place to meet friends for a coffee. Staff are soo welcoming. Emma and her daughter were really helpful. Cakes are sooo yummy. Maxine even got us cushions for the benches to keep our bums warm and dry.

This was our first visit with our grandson. The food was good, honest cooking at a great price. The kitchen was spotlessly clean, and the staff were very friendly. Our first visit certainly won’t be our last! Thank you.

This is a take-away drinks and cakes shack with benches outside, near a children's playground and the pretty little Jubilee lake. The service was friendly, the cakes were homemade and - best of all - the decaff coffee didn't come out of an instant jar. If the benches are all taken you can walk with your drink down to the lake where there are some more benches. There is a small car park, too.

Just stumbled across a lovely little tea room for breakfast before we head back to Manchester after a week away . Food is fresh, delicious and well priced, The scenery is beautiful. The owner is very friendly (and incidentally from Manchester). Good social distancing measures in place. Had a nice walk around the lake to walk off the ginormous bacon butty we ate before heading home! Thank you for making the last day of our holiday so wonderful. Highly recommended

We discovered this lovely cafe and Jubilee lake by chance, turning off the M4 and wanting to eat somewhere other than the services. Lovely little cafe and friendly people. Tasty toasties and nice cake. We’ll definitely come back if we’re ever in the area again... Thanks!

Lovely spot to go dog walking. My dog Doris and I were welcomed in from the rain by the really friendly staff. I had a great coffee and an amazing slice of home made cake. Strong base of local customers were also friendly and a testament to the quality of food, coffee and service. Family and dog friendly.

Reasonably priced food and drinks, sadly the very grumpy girl working there ruined the experience. You wonder why people go into jobs where they have to communicate with people and children when they clearly don’t enjoy it.

So we stopped at the end of our walk around the lake for tea and cake The fruit cake was packed with fruit and so tasty, yummy. Tea and coffee was good and the dog had a Doggie Ice-cream. The lady was so friendly and I felt very welcome. It is worth coming just for the cafe.

What a beautiful "pit-stop" for locals in the Swindon area or to use if travelling along the M4 (It's not far from Junction 16!) This small café lies adjacent to a fantastic adventure playground in the nature reserve. It's quiet and peaceful. Listen to the birds and de-stress with their delicious home-make cake and drinks and take a stroll round the lake and woods with its host of wildlife. Café only open Thurs - Sunday (usually 10am - 3pm but check website Tea in the Park.)

This is one of my absolute favorite places to get a coffee and something to munch on. It's cosy, kid friendly, dog friendly, serves delicious cakes, tasty toasties, decent coffee and epic hot chocolate. But more than this, I really feel that the service I have received every time I have been here is truly amazing. A really special little place.

I love this place! I often visit with my children and either family members or friends with kids and we are always welcomed with warm smiles, friendly banter and accommodating service. Nothing is too much trouble. You are an absolute credit to Wootton Bassett! Keep doing what you're doing! (And make some more Lemon and Raspberry cake!!! It's delicious!)

THOMAS S

We used to say to the kids "lets go to Jubilee park" now it's "who wants to go to Jubilee cafe for a bacon sandwich/slice of cake/hot chocolate/ice-cream etc...and a play in the park" which never fails to get a cheer! This little cafe has given new life to the park and lake area; it's lovely to see so many families and walkers stopping off to recharge as they go about their day. And we were thrilled to hear recently they now have permission to open throughout the winter too, so we look forward to visiting even more regularly in the future!

Open from Thursday-Saturday between 10-4 this is a great little spot to enjoy an excellent bacon butty or slice of cake with a lovely cuppa at a very reasonable price. The cabin is within striking distance of the Ballards Ash playing fields and Jubilee Lake. Max and her Mum are doing a cracking job and deserve to be well supported in this local venture. Setting out the tables with the daily papers and magazines is a lovely touch.

Called here for the second time en route to the West Country. Lovely all day breakfast - sausages etc for husband - smoked salmon, avocado , salad and two poached eggs on toast for me. Very good, very generous, great value. So much nicer than calling in to Solstice Park! Easy, cheap parking nearby.

We stopped in Jackdaws coffee House, I was with three other friends and we had been riding our bikes in the local areas, we all ordered a drink and panini, when I ordered my drink I asked the male person if I could specifically have my hot chocolate made hot, I could tell by his response that he wasn't really interested , he had my money and that was all that mattered, and low and behold when the waitress brought my hot chocolate it was just Luke warm, I then had send it back to be heated, also my friend ordered tea, his panini arrived at the table and he asked the waitress if his cup of tea was coming, he then waited again and asked again, then a waitress came and asked what the drink was, all in all he asked a total of four times for a cup of tea that he had paid for, infact he was first out of the four of us to order, none of the staff in this cafe are English, maybe they don't realise in the uk we like hot drinks, the service in the cafe is absolutely useless, they like to charge you a good price for drinks, but don't deliver on service, I would never go back I would find somewhere else. What a let down.

My mum and I have been meaning to pop into mirandas for a few months and we finally did today; safe to say we were blown away! The food was homemade and delicious and the drinks were lovely. I would definitely recommend the mint hot chocolate, made with chocolate buttons! We will definitely be back again soon!
