What a fabulous place! I visited with my Uncle, we were amazed at the variety and abundance of amazing and interesting cars. Loved the D Type and E Types plus the Aston Martins ! The volunteers really brought the place to life by telling us the most amazing stories many of which made us smile with sheer delight. What was especially nice was how proud I felt for our British Motor industry on what we have achieved over the years. Really enjoyed it and a bit of added value I can use my ticket again for free for another visit in a year. Well worth a visit.

The museum has a well thought out placement of where the cars go - for example, there’s a road round the back of the museum called ‘Time road’ and there are some magnificent cars there going in order from earliest to latest It’s extremely easy to find your way around even without the map because there are giant board-like things on the ceiling with what collection is beneath. The cars are kept in amazing condition and most cars are out in the open with no barriers around them There was a section for: -Ford heritage collection -Design and concept cars -Jaguar (more from jaguar in the other building - the jaguar heritage trust) -Sports cars -Land Rover -Motorsport -Much much more (on the map) The staff there were so friendly and lovely and this guy told us a fun (and surprising!) fact about one of the cars (the big, long pink one) - he told us to get right down on the floor and look under the car, there was a registration plate on the bottom which meant that it was a real car and not a concept! The parking spaces are alright, there is a lot of spaces and decent room for your car to park Overall, I would highly recommend this museum too… anyone really! There’s a lot to learn about the cars themselves that’s very interesting or if you love cars then this is the place for you (the cars there are stunning, trust me)

Wonderful collection of historic cars - other museums would have them all on pedestals, but here, there’s so many that there’s even an overflow storage area where some are just parked back to back ! Includes the first and last etype, the first landrover amongst many others. Also a great bunch of friendly staff who are willing to give some insight on the cars, should you ask them

Brought grandson here on his INSET day. It's over an hour's journey but well worth it, we'll definitely be back & he'll be bringing his mum & dad next time. Such a lot to see. I liked the way social history of the factories & wartime activities were presented. Someone who isn't a car buff can find plenty to interest them. The volunteers were great, so knowledgeable & explained things to 6 yr old (who is a car enthusiast) in an age appropriate way without being patronising. My husband (engineer & racing enthusiast) was in his element chatting to volunteers. A great day out with annual membership making it good value.

Went to the British Motor Museum Oct 30. Had an excellent tour by volunteer Roger. He not only told us all about the cars in the museum, he was kind enough to show us his own car. Lots of Jaguars, Land Rovers and MGs. Super interesting even if you are not an expert. Ate lunch in the onsite cafe. Food was good and reasonably priced. Lunch was £10-15. We rode the train and bus from London which was an adventure for us.

Not bad, but should be called 'the Birmingham motor museum' - there's hardly anything built outside the west Midlands on show. As Rolls Royce, Bentley, TVR etc are also British, this makes the museum look pretty biased.

Stopped by on my way back from a weekend in Birmingham by simply seeing the sign on the motorway! So glad I did. I was amazed by the selection of vehicles on display, particularly the cars from the 1980’s. It was amazing to read about and see up close iconic first and last cars off the productive line including the Mini, the Metro and the Montego. Monday was a perfect day to go as I can imagine this place gets busy at the weekends. I also had a guided free 45 minute tour with Trevor who clearly knew his stuff and it was very enjoyable. The cafe food was also excellent and the staff were very pleasant. Highly recommended. 🚘

Of all the many car collections, motor museums or automotive things I've gone to over the decades, this is one of the absolute best I've gone to. Really nicely laid out, super accessible and lovely in the main building, and just so many cars in the newer secondary building. There's whole specific exhibits for motorsport, prototypes, TV cars and then whole rooms dedicated to Jaguars and Vauxhalls. If you love cars, this place will blow you away, and there's also so many volunteers who will give you in-depth special views of things on the cars if you're interested. Just a wonderful day out for a motor head.

New to the area, asked my barber where to find a good coffee and BB's was recommended. You'd easily miss it if you weren't looking, but it's well worth a visit. The coffee was fantastic and I've never seen that much bacon on a sandwich, really hit the spot! Clearly popular with regulars dropping in all morning for their usual orders. Save yourself the small fortune buying from the familiar high street chains and treat yourself for something with ten times the flavour and a great price.

Wonderful restaurant right on the bank of the Avon river. Small and cosy with super reliable food time and time again. Great for Sunday lunch, a mix of traditional and other modern dishes for startes and mains. Some great wines as well. Wonderful roast duck typically on the Sunday menu, and whilst a little pricey as a supplement, it is to die for. Great selection of specials make this great value restaurant ever interesting! UPDATE on new years day after a fab lunch on Christmas eve......pictures from New Years eve. Whatba perfect way to start the final festivities; a casylual country ramble to The Bridge Inn with my son for Christmas Eve lunch! Second in, we mused over the original yet familiar menu, side by side with an innovative Christmas special menu with a cheeky Peroni. I went for the seared scallops with crispy bacon served on a perfect complimenting crushed pea base... the scallops were perfectly cooked with a thin crispy Crust but succulent body and roe. My son had the perfect poached egg on a festive and rich black pudding potato cake. For mains, my son chose the satisfying steak burger, whilst I went for an old favourite, veal Holstein. The saltiness of the anchovies perfectly enhancing the egg and bed of freshly wilted spinach. I finished off with the traditional Christmas pudding, whilst my son opted for the ample assiette de fromage, with which we finished the velvety Cotés du Rhone. It's such a delight to visit the Bridge and I am looking forward to New Years day lunch for exactly the above reasons. Living in the surrounding areas to Bidford, we should be so appreciative of such a jewel in the culinary crown, without the need to hike of to Birmingham or Cheltenham along with the taxi fares and or drinks restrictions that that might incur. The Wetherspoons, Fullers and McDonald's of this world will always be there as long as punters have cash to spend, but like Purnells in Birmingham which has vapourised taking £38k of future customers money with them, we should all savor the delights of local excellent cooking such as this for as long as possible, and hopefully beyond the Bridges 20 year anniversary in 2025..... or risk being restricted to a baron culinary landscape in the future! Super, time after time and great value!
