Edit: I have to edit this review because they frequently get our orders wrong admittedly sometimes its as simple as cheese on a burger that we asked for no cheese on and other times its as bad as the complete desserts and drinks missing, and it takes a long time for delivery. They don't keep note of the errors so when you ring back to tell them when you order again, they don't have recollection. Great place to visit would be a solid 4.5, but avoid. delivery during busy periods. Delivery let's it down to a still reasonable 3 The food is very good but it does get very busy which can cause things to slip a bit (even then it's still a very good meal.)

Food is good, generous size portions. The kid who was serving us at our table was good too. The only reason I didn't give full stars is that we love our sauces, we need sauces with our food. We usually go to the Cheetham Hill branch and it is absolutely outstanding with them having unlimited supplies of yummy chilli and garlic mayo sauces. At this Stockport branch, we asked for garlic mayo and they do give as many as you want but in tiny tubs. They don't have any proper chilli sauce. The chilli sauce that was given to us by the child serving was a old bottle with sauce dried around the edges. It was disgusting. If this store wants to make an improvement try making your own chilli sauce fresh. On the other hand, ketchup and plain mayo was available in unlimited supply. I didn't complain about the sauces as food was freshly served so that's good. So to sum it up, if you can manage without good quality sauces please do visit. If you are huge fans of sauces maybe take your own from home x

Stumbled across this place late at night, was lovely! Food was later than promised but was worth the wait. Really nice, unique atmosphere. Shall be going again and this star rating will probably go up on a repeat visit.

I recently visited Jungle Grill in Stockport with friends, and we were blown away by the outstanding service, delicious food, and fantastic atmosphere! Our waiter was equally impressive, providing attentive and knowledgeable service throughout our meal. He made excellent recommendations, ensured our desires were met, and even shared some hilarious jokes to keep us entertained! Now, onto the food – oh my, it was incredible! We ordered a variety of dishes, including the signature Jungle Grill platter, and every single item was cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold, the portions were generous, and the presentation was impressive. Overall, our experience at Jungle Grill Stockport was truly exceptional. I had an amazing experience at Jungle Grill, Stockport! The manager at the till was friendly and attentive, ensuring excellent customer service. The place has a strong smell like a pet shop. They need to improve cleanliness. Was empty when we arrived, placed order waited over 25mins just to be told that the veggie burger I wanted was out of stock. They hadn't even started cooking yet!

Spicy rice was nice. Flavour on the chicken was 10/10. However, the chicken was too dry, I struggled eating it, not happy. I’ve worked in a grill chicken place before there’s a step by the step process on how you cook a chicken breast to make it moist and juicy not dry. It takes some skill. You don’t just put sauce on and grill the chicken.

Ordered takeaway. I'm really fussy about food, but I must say it is the nicest takeaway I've had in a long long time. From presentation to the flavours, absolutely delicious. Most definitely recommend and I will be certainly ordering from here again.

Lambs ribs was delicious,chicken was okay but I would say need more cooking and seasoning.delivery time 45 minutes which is good on Tuesday.

If I could give this place a lower review I would, chicken was dry, food was not hot, the place was disgustingly filthy, sauces were dirty, tables were greasy; sauces stank and bottles were blocked due to dry sauce, lamb steak was boiled and put on the grill just for the fun of it, toilet was disgusting and guys this was a review from someone who's owned and ran a successful restaurant business. Absolutely shameful.

Hard cold chips, the steak was smothered in chilli sauce you'd expect to dip your pizza in. No fresh ingredients. Cost an arm and a leg. It's a NO from me never again. Terrible

Shocking Service. I would NOT order for delivery!! Food takes forever to arrive and always comes cold when ordering through uber eats. The quality of food is quite good, once warmed up! It's just the delivery time is an utter joke. If you do decide to order give it anywhere from 1 - 2 hours waiting time. I'm being deadly serious!! Also when you ring up you get fobbed off stating it's on its way. When it bloody isn't!!! We've just tried Jungle Grill for a second time (years apart) Our food arrived 50 minutes late!! Our food was stone cold. £30 down the drain. We will NEVER use this place again. Same old shit as we got a few years back..... "Its on its way" Seriously considering reporting this place to environmental health

Been down to jungle grill recently for the first time.. after a visit to Stockport from Rochdale. During my entrance I can see the staff had been proactively cleaning the tables, I could see the environment generally clean.. we ordered one of their platters.. just blown away mash melted away soft and fluffy..the chicken was juicey cooked to perfection everything else on the plate went well together. I don't think 1 person can finish this as it's big portion size. Staff were very approachable and the sauce on the side free to use (assuming becuase I just took it) Thank you for the good service, food has been recommended to friends and family.

The place was a little grubby, some tables needs clearing and the toilets need a clean. The floor needed a sweep. The food however was reasonably priced and very nice, I had steak burger chips and onion rings, loads of food and ate the lot.

My wife ordered food from Jungle Grill yesterday, and it was a terrible experience. The food was clearly not fresh, and unfortunately, I ended up with severe food poisoning after eating it. I am extremely disappointed and concerned about their food safety standards. I will never order from here again.

Terrible experience at Jungle Grill. The staff were incredibly rude, and the owner showed no respect for basic decency. To make matters worse, the food was greasy and completely lacking in flavor. I will never be coming back.

The only reason I'm giving 1 star to Jungle Grill is because I can't give a lower review. I ordered from just eat & the food arrived quite quickly but I physically wasn't able to eat more than one bite. It had no flavour, all the meat was tough and tasteless & both meals that were ordered looked like food that had been left outside for a week. It's over a week since I ordered and I'm STILL pissed about the £30+ wasted on this.

I ordered a cod fish fillet burger and for almost £7 I was expecting a nice chunky grilled fish fillet with lettuce and pickles. It turned out to be something you would maybe get at McDonalds. It was a very thin fried fish patty with a slice of cheese and relish. Hugely dissapointing! However, the Peri Peri chips were nice. The restaurant looked nice too and staff were friendly.

First time going to this branch. Amazing all round. 110% will go again if I'm in the area.

Food is amazing and good portions 😅 Unfortunately, the smell in this place is discouraging, the table is sticky, overall it could be cleaner and I do not recommend using the toilet.

Interesting venue. They've tried to stand out from the crowd with interesting decor, to be fair it put me off a little However, the service was good, helpful staff. I just ordered a burger, but the meal combos looked amazing. I just wasn't that hungry Good burger, well priced. T I'll be back, I need to try the chicken!! Low score for atmosphere, mostly because it's just dead quiet. Not really there fault! Nothing happening this time on a Thursday

I love Jungle Grill. I order a takeaway from here at least once a week. I have used Jungle Grill for along time and can honestly say. I've never had a bad my meal. The customer service is also fantastic with staff polite and helpful. I love my Jungle Grill Peri Peri fix.

Excellent service by the manager ( Kamran) the chicken was grilled to my preference and was well grilled and juicy at the same time kudos to the chef , the waitress was always proactive even before my request . The delivery drivers never got in the way of service only came in one at a time just for order pick up.

Came here this evening with my partner and two children I got a King Kong platter my partner got a peri platter and the children had burger and chicken popcorn meals. The burgers was okay they wasn’t great but wasn’t poor I would say 6/10. Very salty and you can tell they use very poor quality produce the sauces was all refilled with very cheap sauces. The chips was probably the best part of the meals. But the cheese on my daughter’s burger tasted very sour. On a serious level the price for the expensive we had wasn’t worth it I wasted £46 I wish I had gone to five guys or even McDonald’s. Also to add the toilets was very dirty there was black hairs on the seat and a liquid on the floor I’m not sure what this was but we went around 5pm and they wasn’t open long we was the first customers in there so you would think it would be clean. Good luck everyone I hope you don’t feel the way I do after trying the Jungle Grill

Great service very friendly, however food well I got a frozen burger for £4.85 I don’t think it was even meat. Dark and dingey shop, floor very greasy there was what looked like fresh chicken left out on a trolly tray not even covered, I don’t think I’ll even step foot in again I’m afraid was filthy

The service was great. But the food was a bit off. I ordered beef steak. It wasn't that much hot when served, hence became stale in taste very quickly. Also, the amount of salad can be increased. Otherwise, it was a nice experience.

Update 2024: has gone downhill since our last visit so changing to 2 stars and won't be visiting again. Great food, the service was excellent AB was very helpful. We also got a free milkshake. Will come again

Don’t usually leave reviews but this was by far the worst. Absolutely horrible! Food was over an hour late and I could smell weed on my pespi can. The burger was flat with only lettuce. It taste like it was frozen. Also this is what I got I order the cookie with ice cream and received an cold thin slab cookie dough???? By far the worst takeaway I had to throw it out :(

Worst service I’ve ever had inside of a ‘restaurant’, and the food here was never that good — beyond the veggie burger which I quite liked — though once it had bits of meat on top of it for whatever reason. I spent £30 on Uber eats I ordered chilli cheese fries, tec mex wrap, a mixed steak burrito and cheesy fries. Chilli cheese fries were inedible(chilli was rock hard) My burrito came with no rice I rang and explained this to a pleasant man on the phone who told me straight away that he will replace the fries and burrito within 20 minutes. He was very nice about it considering I was quite angry on the phone. 30 minutes later it arrived. Opened it up chilli fries were better a lot better… however my burrito came with a hair on it it was only small but still a hair I don’t know what to think about it and haven’t eaten it as it makes me feel sick. It wasn’t in the burrito it was just on top but it’s the principal. So disapointed in this as I hyped it up so much to everyone that ordered and was left feeling embarrassed.

Fantastic Food. Jungle Bomb Burger and Garlic Cheese Mash is a phenomenal combo. The burger is juicy and the jalapeno bites add to it.

Food took 5 years to arrive and when it did finally arrive, it was absolutely awful. So over priced. I have never had worse quality food from anywhere then what I recieved from here. Firstly, my friend ordered the chicken steak and it with creamy peppercorn sauce. The sauce tasted of nothing but smelt like vomit and I am not exaggerating. It was vile. I ordered the habibi steak that apparently has sauce , jalapeños and cheese added but mine just looked like a plain chicken steak with a tonne of microwaved cheese on top. I couldn't bring myself to eat it. Chips were like they were refried and soggy. Was like trying to eat wet cardboard. This will be the first and last time ordering from this place. We had high expectations but were totally let down!!

We orderd 2 hots and chips they put chip spice on all the chips when we didnt ask for it it was an option and the hotdogs are just standard sausages you get from the chippy feel like we have been robbed wont be going back here again its terrible

Recently been there. Ordered a SHARING PLATTER for 45£. Was enough for three people. Food wise no big deal. I was a bit disappointed because my steak was supposed to be medium-rare it was not. Very chewy. The chicken was fantastic- loved it. Wings are not a very good choice though. Rice and Mash are also tasty enough. Cutleries were not polished. Could have done better. And ketchup and Mayo, you can get unlimited. However, bottles can be new or restaurant-branded instead of old dirty broken refilled bottles. * Please note no tap water is offered by the restaurant. I requested some but was told that we don't offer any. * All foods are Halal. Overall, had a mixed experience. 👍 Thanks

Lovely food with wonderful service

Food was of very low quality. Chips had been re-fried at least twice and were rock solid and full of grease. The steak was like rubber. 9 of us went, not one of us had anything good to say about the food apart from 1 that had a hot pot which was ok. Maybe it was a one off, maybe not.
