Great place and the food is really delicious

Used to go here all the time when I was going uni. 10/10 Amazing food, the owner and everyone working there were absolutely lovely. It was always clean and extremely enjoyable. Food is top tier - Really really good. Out of all the places in Hendon and nearby (London) etc, one of the best food places there is. If you are travelling or nearby I would highly recommend.

A fun and delicious experience! This small, cute, quiet, restaurant comes highly recommended. Went in for dinner midweek. Good service at this 'homely' feeling local restaurant. The food is delicious, AND fun to make it you happen to request one of the BBQ tables (I booked one in advance). Otherwise, plenty of other tasty dishes are available on a menu with lots to choose from. Prices are fair. I know we'll be returning for future visits. Update: 2 years on, 6 visits (so far), and we still love this place. 😊

Our First impression wasn’t decent at all. The tall and mid aged man who was standing on the till just threw the menu cards on the table when we requested a table in the corner which wasn’t reserved. It was our first time at this restaurant and we weren’t expecting to be treated disrespectfully like that. That consequently affected our mood throughout the meal. Apart from that, the rest experience was pretty much satisfactory. Thanks!

I was around the area one weekend and walked in for a quick bite - ended up being literally one of the best and most authentic Korean food I’ve ever had in the UK as a Korean! The owner was really nice and friendly as well. Cozy vibes 10/10

It's really delicious. When my cousin who lives in London told me that he was a regular at this restaurant and boasted that the kimchi was really delicious, I thought it was just delicious... It was a rare restaurant even in Korea. I stopped by there until the day I left. In particular, I ate squid, which I hate, for two days.^^ I wondered if stir-fried squid could be this delicious. Stir-fried pork, kimchi pancake, kimchi fried rice, stone pot bibimbap, each and every dish was probably delicious... All the family members who went with me ate it with admiration. Kimchi is art👍. Gentle and kind Hongdae owner~ I will stop by again next time. Thank you for taking such good care of me~~ It's too bad I couldn't take pictures because I was busy eating. We ordered delivery and were slightly disappointed. The beef stew was too sweet and did not feel authentic. Portions were small as well, with barely anything in it. Glass noodles were a bit overpriced as well - it shouldn’t be treated the same way as other noodles. I prefer Sarang in Golders Green for Korean food.

Ordered the soft tofu stew and I was given a dissolved maggi stock cube. No flavour whatsoever. Soondubu jjigae is meant to be red but as you can see this is a clear broth with red specks of oil. Very disappointed and shocked. Avoid.

Wow… special kimchi soondae ramyun 🫠 But having the bokkeumbap service afterwards is a must! Only £5! Make sure to leave a bit of the stew, though!! 🤫

Sweet and spicy korean fried chicken is the best i have ever had and the portion is really big. the outside is super crispy, sauce tastes amazing and the meat inside is juicy. we also had some other stuff that was very tasty but seriously chicken is out of this world. bibimbap, some seafood ramen and this space chicken and a soju was 60£ for me and my boyfriend. we couldn’t finish everything because portions are bigger than we expected. so it’s not the cheapest, but great choice for treating yourself to amazing food 11/10 i am going next week again!

Probably one of the best Korean restaurants I’ve been to in London if not the the best, tucked away near Hendon Central this place offers up all the Korean classics sure to satisfy your cravings, from their Bbq options to their main courses, each bite is as good as the last. We loved their Bbq La Ribs, the Kimchi Fried Rice and their Chilly Paste Pork Belly. Their owner is such a polite gentleman as well, will definitely be coming back very soon!

Honestly this is one of the best Korean restaurants I have ever been to And the owner is actually quite pleasant and was willing to adapt to my taste . I wanted spicy and he gave me spicy Honestly order everything on the menu It’s amazing from the bibimpap to the kimchi fried rice to the black bean sauce and udon to the samgyetan to the Korean fried chicken with beets as an accompaniment … The seafood stew with noodles? Oh I could go on and on and on Absolutely fantastic It’s my go to happy place. I ordered online through Deliveroo and I spoke to the owner and he accommodated my requests. Today I visited K.Cook and what a lovely experience it was. Lovely ambience and great service. The food was served in less than 10 minutes and it was delicious. The portion sizers are worth every penny spent and the main dishes are enough for one person. We ordered Bibimbap, Seafood Udon, Tteok-bokki and tempura 🍤 it was so delicious 😋. Will definitely return here.

Used to order take away from here and made a visit in person, probably should have kept it as a takeaway option as the past two times we've visited in person the male ?owner or waiter has been incredibly grumpy borderline rude and it's really put us off from returning or ordering from them again unfortunately.

Really good and tasty kimchi fried rice. Done exactly the way I like it, without too much filling and lots of rice. Egg could have been cooked slightly more, but I am picky about uncooked eggs, so maybe that is how it should be. The BBQ was a bit strange. I expected some bulgogi or just sliced beef... instead, it was a full piece of meat. Like a steak. A bit odd. No seasoning either. Unlike many Korean BBQs, you won't get any banchan. It is very bare bones, but the flavours are solid. It was decent enough food, and the kimchi rice was excellent. Service was perfunctory. Not friendly, not rude. Just did her job and that's it. So, this isn't the sort of place where you're gonna be chatting with your server. It's very much a place to come to eat no frills Korean food. Just above a cafeteria in feel. But it's got that neighbourhood vibe and is pretty chill, probably cos it was mostly uni students in there.

From the day I’ve tried the food here , I almost come every day to eat here. Is amazing . The food , the staff , the service is excellent! I recommend this place with all my heart 🥹❤️ ( btw, my fav dish is pork belly slices with salad and bean sprouts; you need to try it )

I came here last night with a couple of friends and the food and service were so good that I had to bring another friend tonight to try it. I've never been to the same restaurant two nights in a row before. Will be back!

Came all the way from Australia and I wasn’t really enjoying my trip but I tried this food and oh my god I would fly to London just for this food a million and one times I can not express how good this taste. The serving size is amazing. Reasonable pricing and the service was really great. 15/10 highly recommend.

Although, you don't get a Korean vibe at the restaurant but the food is generous portion and tasty. The restaurant food is amazing and customer service is also good. I wish the shop was reflecting more Korean culture through the deco etc. Otherwise, me and my friend we both enjoyed the food.

Needless to say that the tables are equipped with their own built-in grill, and you can cook your meat and veggies the way you want. I felt the portion size of food was generous. The person in charge is very friendly and will engage in pleasant conversations. Definitely, it's a place to visit again!

Came here for the first time and was super impressed. They take same day bookings over the phone, the owner is very friendly and the service was great. Food came quickly and everything we had was amazing. Definitely recommend the Mixed BBQ set. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely warm service and the most DELICIOUS broth. I feel so lucky to have found this gem on such short notice. I had the kimchi pancakes and sweet and spicy fried chicken (the owner made a good point to ask for peanut allergies as this contained peanuts, he could do an alternative without). Oh my word!!! It was so good!!!! We had a beef, spam, sausage and soft tofu noodle soup dish recommended by the owner called budae jjigae(which was huge and soooo flavourful The broth was so rich and really great with rice.) I travelled a long way for Korean food, and I feel well and truly satisfied! For 3 people, these 3 dishes were more than enough as we could not finish the noodle soup dish, though we gave it our best effort. They gave such a generous portion! I also had the ginseng tea, which was really a great way to end the meal. Thank you K.Cook for an amazing meal, great ambience, and wonderful service!

We ordered half and half fried chicken, spicy beef brisket hot stew and raw beef bibimbap. Everything was very delicious except the original fried chicken tasted a bit bland. The stew was a little bit spicy than I expected but I love spicy food. The portions were huge, took me and my boyfriend 1.5 hrs to finish everything. Food were well-priced considering the portion and owner was very friendly and nice. Will definitely visit again. P.S. the k-pop song choices were a boom👌🏼❤️

Just has excellent food and atmosphere. I've been there and ordered from there many times. It's one of those places you don't want people to know about in case it gets too popular and you won't be able to get a table.

honestly it’s my favourite korean bbq place and i’ve been coming here since the eat out to help out in 2020. the man at the counter knows me well and has seen me through two boyfriends 😭

We got the large mixed BBQ set (£52), which apparently serves 4 to 5 people. But we found it just about right for 3 people. £4.80 for kimchi , £4.80 for pickled radish 😏. The portion size was very small for that price. Receipt hand written in Korean , with 10% service charge. Total bill amount came up to £93 for 5 people. The other two friends had rice and chicken and Vegetarian Bibimbap which was £12 and £11 respectively. The service was good, however i think it is overall overpriced for this experience and the location.

I had the bibimbap which was tasty but a bit overpriced. The hot sake was delicious. I would come here again but would order something more unique/harder to make at home to justify the price.

Great service! I have ordered takeaway from here a few times and knew it was good but this time I went to eat in with a friend. It was their first time trying Korean food and they aren't that adventurous when eating different cuisines but they were still talking about the food from KCook the next day :) We ordered a lot and everything was so tasty, the staff were also so nice and friendly. Had such a good time so I'll definitely be going back again😊

Very good food, the barbecue is 10/10. The only thing which it dissapointed was the place which looked more like a small fastfood not really like an restaurant. The hospitality is also 10/10, very kind people and helpfull! You should deffinately try this place if you're a fan of korean barbecue! P.s: you should try the sake also!😅

Probably the the most authentic Korean place I've been to. Food was 👌🏼 pancakes were crispy, dduckbokgee wasn't too soggy and very good portion, galbitang was clear and well seasoned with tender beef pieces, bimbimbap had good variety of toppings (not sure if cucumber belongs there), soontofu chigae was very good with plenty of seafood inside! Pity the yukhwe was finished 😢 oh and of course korean fried chicken! Best I've had in UK, very crispy batter, didn't get soggy even after cooled down covered in sauce

(O)K.Cook Korean Restaurant is just slightly ok. I asked for no beef on the cold noodles and he refused to replace it with anything, but also didn’t change the price? Bit crazy, the beef is the most expensive part. The noodles were fine, I loaded it with gojuchang and it was more edible. My lovely Italian partner did not enjoy her chicken katsu, the sauce was jammy. The fried chicken was fine I heard. Not authentic, I lived in the Korean Peninsula for a short time, they would be ashamed there.

I've travelled many times to Korea. This place is a gem. Trust me. The best Korean food I've ever tried in UK. The dupbap, bbq, katsu, dumplings are delicious. As I could see it's a family business and they really care about their customers. You can't find a better place to eat Korean food or any food in North London.

One of my favourite Korean spots in London, what an absolute find! 🇰🇷 The flavours here are so rich and authentic, and you can tell they place a lot of value on authenticity when it comes to food. I’ve been many times with friends for the BBQ too and always have such a good time! My top dishes have got to be their soft tofu jjigae, and of course their amazing stew pots (as pictured 🤤) 🥘🍜 I can’t write this review without mentioning the fried chicken too 🍗 as this is one of the better places with that signature crisp coating and authentic sauces that are exactly what you find in Korea.

Came back here last week after 8 years ago we moved out of UK, the food quality is still as good as i remembered. We had a great time.

K.Cook에서 9년전에 아르바이트 했었던 사람입니다. 비록 짧은 기간이었지만 사장님-사모님 덕에 즐겁게 일했던 곳입니다. 제 생일이라고 미역국까지 손수 싸주셔서 정말 감동 받았었습니다. K.Cook 음식은 왠만한 한국에 있는 한식당을 뛰어넘을 정도로 맛있어요. 제가 영국에 있는 동안 3군데의 한식당에서 아르바이트를 했었는데 K.Cook이 압도적으로 주방이 깔끔하고 맛있습니다. 아무래도 런던 중심부가 아니기 때문에 유동인구가 많지 않았는데, 역시 맛이 있다보니 좋은 리뷰를 많이 받고 있는 것 같아 기분이 좋습니다. 고기구이랑 전골, 찌개류 강추합니다! 사장님, 사모님 저 기억하실지 모르겠는데 2013년에 안산에서 왔었던 어학연수생이었습니다. 잘 지내시죠? ㅎㅎ 저도 잘지내고 있습니다. 오랜만에 검색해보니 리뷰가 정말 많아서 놀랬네요. 잘 지내시고 있는 것 같아 저도 기분이 좋습니다. 항상 건강하시고 하시는 일 잘되시길 바라겠습니다.

The staff are racist. They only look after Korean people. I wont come in this place again. You wont feel welcome in this restaurant, prolly if you’re white or korean they will be good to you.
