Highly recommend for best curries around Heathrow, great selection of menu and very friendly staffs.

Visited this place with family and I must say it was truly amazing experience. Everything was exquisite and the service was great. Nice ambience and we had sheikh kebab and tandoori chicken for starters, karahi chicken & lamb rogan josh for mains. All food dishes were made to perfection and super tasty. Must try their poppadum chutney tray - its very unique! Will be visiting this place again soon, 5 stars!

I recently visited Kaniz Restaurant, which was formerly known as Zayani Restaurant, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. I had dined at Zayani about a year ago, and I was excited to see how the new location and name have elevated the experience. Kaniz Restaurant offers an incredible dining experience that combines top-notch food with an inviting atmosphere, making it one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. The menu features a variety of traditional Indian dishes, all bursting with flavor and expertly prepared.The service is outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. This cozy place made me feel familiar and at home. Another best thing about Kaniz is its friendly staffs. Top notch services. Sizzling lamb was the best. Too good desserts. Loved the experience. If you're near Heathrow Airport or around London and craving authentic Indian cuisine, look no further than Kaniz.

Great experience, fantastic food and service from the hosts. I cannot remember the last time I had Indian food like this. The flavors burst in your mouth. Creamy and tasty butter chicken! The lamb Korma was amazing!

Staying in the Renaissance overnight we came here as a result of the review by stewartir2024. It took us about 25-30 minutes walk each way but the weather was dry and it wasn't particularly cold so we worked up an appetite by the time we got there. Warm inside and very welcoming and friendly staff. We had booked although we could have walked in. We had poppadums and chutneys - the six or so mentioned above and I followed this with a chicken and mango dish. It was all very tasty but I think the mango sweetened the chicken too much. We enjoyed this and will go again

Walked in, only one other person in there. Got taken to a seat. Ordered a coke no ice and the coke was really warm and flat you could hear them open the cans. Took ages for someone to take my order (service poor!!!!) food was tasteless . And to top it off a service charge was added to the bill all they did was open a can of coke and bring my plate of food. 0/10 for me !!!!!

We two, stranded by bad weather, were warmly welcomed and seated at a table. The staff were very helpful in choosing the food, especially asking how spicy or mild we would like the food.

Great Indian with amazing food, I would highly recommend. I come here everytime I have a layover at Heathrow. The guys from Zayani now run this restaurant and the food is still as superb as ever.

This Indian cuisine here is simply fantastic. Each dish bursts with flavor, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into the preparation. The service was excellent. I loved how they served our meals on hot plates, which really enhanced the experience. Now, let’s talk about the food! The garlic naan was heavenly—perfectly fluffy and garlicky. The lamb karahi was packed with spices, tender, and absolutely delicious. And the butter chicken was creamy and rich!

Nothing was special about this place, the food, service, atmosphere almost everything was wrong! We had layover for the night, were staying in Hyatt and decided to eat at this place. Our red head waitress was very rude. Whenever we asked her anything she was rolling her eyes. Few items were out of stock on the menu, when asked about recommendations she was not really helpful! People were really loud, and annoying. When I confronted, they were like so what! Food had no taste at all, the meat was old no freshness in it. Garlic naan’s were rip off, had couple of garlic bits in it that was all. Mango lassi was too thick to drink couldn’t even drink it using the straw! For the price, the quantity was good but quality hell no.

3rd time we've been here this year whilst staying at LHR. Really like this place. Fantastic chutney tray! No starters this time as we're always too full. Had chicken shaslik and a hot butter chicken with a buttered garlic nan which was the best nan I have had. Staff are so loveky as well.

We went here for dinner as we were staying in the nearby Hyatt Place and it was delicious! We were the only ones there when we first arrived, however, the ambience is nice and the service is attentive. Would recommend the chicken bhuna and chicken balti and the naan bread is the nicest I have ever had! Lovely meal.

Unremarkable decor, friendly service (they lost a star for adding a service charge to a meal for two), good food. I'd have preferred muttar paneer more creamy and less tomatoey but then I didn't ask so couldn't complain!

This restaurant was so good a few years ago. This is no longer the case. I won't go back there again. Very greasy and very bland cuisine. Everything tastes the same. No flavor and everything is bathed in oil.

We went here as the Hyatt had a huge wait time. Took a chance and could not have been more pleased. Unassuming location. The staff were very friendly, happy to chat and the food was outstanding.

Biryani was very dry n not great

A few years back I was a regular at Kaniz as I worked and lived close by. Their food was incredible. Everything was made with passion and you could taste it in all their dishes! I happened to be local today and I ordered and I was so so disappointed. The owner or the chef may have changed, but the onion bhajis were not fresh and were flat. Back then I would get a full round bhaji that was always piping hot! The the naan was cold despite arriving in a foil bag but the paneer tikka is still exactly what it used to be. I also had to pay 8 pounds more to order on deliveroo as in just eat, my orders were accepted then cancelled. Tried calling the restaurant but was told that this was just eat canceling due to there being no driver but when I called just eat they said it was the restarant. Not sure what happened there but there was a 30 percent promotion on just eat so it was strange that the exact same order was accepted on deliveroo without the discount!

Poppadom’s came with 6 dips with a shout out to the tamarind, mango & mint dips, delicious. Mains were excellent, packed with meat & ample servings. Cobra beer on draught. Staff were friendly but professional. Highly recommended.

Order clearly just thrown together. No attention to customisation. Burger buns oddly overdone. No requested sauces included. Absolute waste of time and money.

Have eaten here 3 separate times in May and June. The food by a Bangladeshi cook is outstanding, the service very efficient and the prices reasonable. The papadams are enormous and served with 6 different condiments. It’s generally quiet. Highly recommended

We ate dinner here on a stop over in London from the airport and was within walking distance from our hotel. The staff and service were amazing and did a phenomenal job explaining the menu and making recommendations. The food was good, not great. Staff were able to ensure my meal was gluten-free.

Kaaniz there curries I think are rushingly made! The curries always have too much oil or butter and less flavour and not made with love! The yogurt seems like it's rushingly made again like no taste just diluted with water! Odd taste There is no quality in the food! Don't even seems fresh! Nothing like home made at all! Oil just swimming The popodums even had an off ish taste

This restaurant is nice, clean and tidy. Staff were very attentive and looked after us as soon as we entered the restaurant. Food portions were generous and the food came out hot and fresh. The chicken tasted a little dry but overall this did not affect the quality of the food. Everyone in the party commented on the quality and taste. Would definitely recommend

Chicken pieces were minuscule and there weren’t many. Naan was thin and greasy. Would never order from here again.

The overall experience was at an extremely mid level. If you’re Caucasian you’ll have a great time because the servers there will completely change their tone and approach when serving you. If you are a person of color, I do not recommend. From the moment we walked in to the minute we walked out, we had very poor service. The food cost was quite a bit for not a big enough portion size. Food taste was okay, could be better. Overall, would not visit again. The one female server there definitely needs to have her attitude reassessed.

Menu has a wide variety of choices but I wasn't too crazy about the food. It was a convenient place to go within walking distance from the nearby hotels and I will probably go back for a quick meal. I didn't like the samosa but the poppadoms had a very good selection of dips. The naan bread was great. Price is good, service was attentive.

I usually judge an Indian restaurant by its rotis. These were light and crispy. But the rest of the food was also beautifully cooked, and well-presented. Cauliflower bhaji just tender and really tasty dahl. Able to make vegan. I don't live locally, but if I did, I would be a regular here.

Biryani has no flavour , yellow oil rice mixed with some tasteless meat , chilli chicken had no spice in it and should get named as sweet chicken , one inch oil at the base , never ordering again

this one has to be one of the best "authentic indian restaurants" Most of the indian restaurants feature a Moghul menu which is not what the people eat on a daily basis but based on the royal court of the Moghuls and owned and operated by Bangladeshis from just two districts in their country, Sylhet and one other The service and atmosphere is excellent. Wonderful oooks from the home country excelling in each and every dish. I always order Lamb Karahi and it never disappoints me and no other lamb karahi in the so called indian restaurants in usa comes anywhere near . worth a trip to london

There's not much to do around the Sheraton Heathrow hotel, but luckely there is Kaniz within walking distance. A wide variety on the menu, but I went for the chicken vandaloo. Very tasty, but not that spicy. Friendly service. The food is worth his money.

Thank you to all the people that have eaten at Kaniz and gave it the great reviews on Tripadvisor. This was my first time eating at an Indian restaurant and I just loved it. The food was just perfect. It was so good. It will not be my last. The waitress was so attentive and helpful. The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. It is great for couples wanting a romantic night out or friends just wanting a beautiful place with great food. James and I would go back here in a heartbeat, but sadly we are off on our cruise tomorrow morning. Don't miss the papadam with the tray of dipping sauces. The mango chutney mixed with the coconut were killer. So good I added both to the salad. This restaurant let us start our holiday on a very high note. Thank you to our wonderful waitress and the manger for the attention and great service.
