Karma Bread in Camden

Siempre que estoy cerca de esta zona me dirijo a esta panadería. La señora de allí es tan amable y acogedora como todo su personal , el servicio es excepcional, pero la comida es aún mejor, especialmente el queso tostado y el bocadillo de puerro , es el mejor que he tenido . No puedo esperar a volver cuando estoy en uno de mis paseos 👍

El servicio fue amable. Nos pareció caro con café y sándwiches muy caros, asientos incómodos con una sala de estar ingeniosa.

Fue hace solo un par de días cuando escribí esto, que acababa de salir del Hospital Real Libre después de visitar a mi abuela enferma con mi hermana. Debimos haber estado mirando hacia abajo mientras la encantadora señora que estaba cerrando la tienda corría hacia nosotros y nos ofrecía una bolsa de pasteles y otros productos horneados. Recibir estos dulces realmente nos alegró a mí y a mis hermanas el día, ya que nos obligó a empezar a pensar en todo de una manera positiva. Una vez que llegué a casa terminé comiendo uno de los pasteles sin pensar cuando había planeado hacerles fotos, para ponerlo en línea. El resto de los dulces recién horneados fue comido por el resto de nuestra familia en poco tiempo, yo habría tomado algunas fotos, sin embargo, todos estábamos muy agotados mentalmente. Pero realmente puedo decir una cosa: el pan era extremadamente suave y sabroso a pesar de ser regalado de forma gratuita y la bollería era totalmente deliciosa y deliciosa; tanto que terminé volviendo por uno segundo unas horas más tarde. Dos días después volví a visitar a mi abuela en el hospital, pero antes de hacerlo visité Karma Bread durante su horario de apertura y estaba encantada de tener una larga discusión con ellos. Obviamente, están acostumbrados a que la gente esté un poco molesta o simplemente se sienta deprimida en general, ya que están a 3 minutos a pie del hospital y en el camino a la estación de Hampstead Heath. Después de hablar un rato les pedí un pedido bastante difícil, ya que mi abuela no puede comer gluten ni lácteos; pero incluso con esto tenían una confitería para satisfacer sus necesidades. Mi abuela tenía el pastel de almendras y naranjas y ella lo disfrutaba, especialmente en comparación con la comida que había estado comiendo en el hospital. Dicho esto, recomiendo a cualquiera que vaya al hospital a visitar a un ser querido que se recoja a sí mismo o a su ser querido un regalo del Pan de Karma. Mi tercera vez visitando Karma Bread fue unos 3 días después. Salí temprano de la casa para tomar un sándwich y un café del Karma Breads Café. El pan en el bocadillo parece haber sido recién hecho con una textura cálida, suave y bien leudada. Mientras que el relleno de atún y pepino estaba húmedo y sabroso con un buen crujiente. Mi café era un café con leche descafeinado que había sido preparado con cuidado e ingredientes de alta calidad, se me sirvió a la temperatura perfecta para el consumo y el barista fue capaz de producir una impresionante pieza de arte de café. Una vez que almorcé comencé a dibujar el interior del Pan Karma, cuyo proceso duró alrededor de 3 horas. Durante el proceso disfruté de muchas conversaciones agradables con los clientes y el personal. Así como el ambiente familiar acogedor, que se produjo a través de una combinación de música agradable, el aroma acogedor de café fresco y pan horneado y, por último, el temperamento general y la personalidad de los lugareños que parece frecuentar la panadería. Además, con el pan karma tan cerca de Hampstead Heath, es el lugar perfecto para obtener pan recién horneado para un picnic de verano con amigos y familiares. También tengo que decir que el dibujo que produje durante las 3 horas que pasé allí fue uno de mis mejores trabajos que he hecho en los últimos meses, a pesar de una lesión en la mano de la que dudo que me hubiera inspirado dibujar si no fuera por el ambiente del café. Una vez hecho mi dibujo me dolía bastante la mano sin embargo la dejé con el Café después de sacar una foto quedando satisfecha con mi trabajo. Fui al Café una última vez 4 días después antes de que mi abuela se quedara fuera del hospital. Durante esta visita quería probar su comida caliente y tengo que ser honesto su shakshuka fue definitivamente uno de los mejores que se puede obtener en Londres con un sabor exquisito. Mientras que su pudín de pan y mantequilla era a la temperatura ideal un sabor cremoso excepcional y una suculenta sensación suave maridado bien perfecto café con leche. Por último, debo decir que sus sonrisas positivas, amables palabras de tranquilidad y servicio al cliente realmente harán que cualquiera se sienta parte de su familia. Además, la forma en que tratan a su personal es realmente algo que debe admirarse, ya que mientras estuve allí en mi tercera visita me alegré de verlos celebrando el cumpleaños de uno de sus colegas. P.d No creo que tengan la costumbre de dar comida gratis, sin embargo definitivamente traen mucho buen Karma al mundo y espero que el destino les sonría a su vez.

Es una panadería pero con un menú sentado. Es una excelente panadería, pero como restaurante o para una comida es la opción equivocada. Pagas mucho y ganas muy poco. Todo es muy sabroso, pero las porciones son pequeñas y el precio es engañoso, especialmente cuando se sienta a comer en . Ej’ Al pagar se le pregunta “¿le gustaría tener esto encima o aquello encima”, pero olvidando recordarle que se está cobrando (y a una tarifa bastante cara). La propietaria (o que parece ser una propietaria) es un poco pretenciosa en su enfoque y uno puede sentirse ligeramente intimidado. No creo que lo haga deliberadamente, quizás sea su naturaleza, pero no tan agradable - ya hemos estado allí 6 veces y siempre es lo mismo. Hay que decir que la calidad de los productos de panadería es insuperable.

Este es un pequeño gran hallazgo para un café y.. Pastel o un almuerzo ligero. Tuvimos un almuerzo encantador y era justo para lo que queríamos, algo gratificante pero no demasiado lleno.

This is definitely a bakery/cafe/resturant, that is worth visiting (not only once!). I was there last week and had the most delicious triple cheese toast and coffee...... all excellent. Not only good food but a warm and friendly atmosphere, with both new, and retuning customers..... a good sign! I would happily go then again... right now!

We recently celebrated my mother’s birthday at Karma Bread in Hampstead Heath, and we had a wonderful time! From the moment we walked in, we felt incredibly welcomed, and the service was second to none. The brunch was delectable and the eggs and hashbrowns! Just wow! The cherry and almond cronut and the bread and butter pudding were absolutely to die for. We enjoyed every bite and even bought more sweet treats to take home! Karma Bread is a gem, and we can't wait to return. Thank you for making my mother's birthday so special! ❤️

A nice space. Pity about the rude, abrasive service from the woman who seemed to be in charge, the poor quality coffee, and inflated prices. There are plenty of other cafes in South End Green...

Even at the height of their rush hour the service was smooth running and friendly. Beautiful spot to stop for coffee or a delicious brunch, will be bring home the stunning bread on display best of luck to this homely business. Can’t to wait to pop by on our next trip and make our way through the menu.

The owner is insane, avoid. Bread is ok, everything hideously overpriced, even for hampstead. Pastries are stale. Sandwiches ok if you want to pay £10 and wait for ages

Lovely bakery spot. We had some great baked treats with our coffees. Recommend, and will be back again next time I'm passing by.

Unbelievably high quality, with a wide range of the most delicious breads, cakes, as well as healthy snacks eg shakshuka and Turkish eggs. Very pleasant to sit outdoors (or inside) with a chai latte or coffee etc. Often very busy, but waitresses are lovely and always find time time to exchange a few words. The bakehouse is a true community asset.

Very small establishment with a few tables inside - the food is of good quality but you pay the price for it. It is not cheap. However it feels chaotic inside and ordering food from the menu to eat “in” is not an enjoyable process. The good sat on the counter for too long whilst staff made coffee and served bakery orders in the queue, so was lukewarm upon being served. Had to wait for cutlery after this which was meant food was colder…. It simply appears to have outgrown itself and can’t cope

The bun I got was very good, but more than 8 pounds for a coffee and a treat is too much. Also, for a coffee I had to ask for sugar and then for a spoon, which was placed on the table with no hygiene care

We stumbled across this hidden gem on a Sunday afternoon when we'd been exploring Hampstead Heath with friends visiting from Belgium. Our party was 3 adults, 2 kids, a baby and a dog looking for somewhere with room for us to sit outside before my friend had to catch her train. We felt lucky to have found this place. The coffee's were great, the cakes were even better. We bought a selection and went up for seconds. The challah loaf was yummy too. Service was excellent. It was a little pricey but nothing out of the ordinary for London.

Ok , but so pricy, i paid £17 for two sourdoughs and two croissants. The quality was really ok but it was really overpriced. Besides they did not provide a price list.

Having walked pass this gem of a café a few times I though it would be good try it. Well I was not disappointed, The Latte was the best one I ever had and the poached eggs on sourdough was an absolute delight! I will be back and thank you.

Bad Karma would be a better name for this place. Bad service is the reality. When ordering a breakfast that after 23 minutes had still not arrived even though no other food had left the kitchen since we sat down, the honourable thing to do is to admit that the order was forgotten and perhaps to offer a free coffee. Instead the waiter went to enquire and came back from the kitchen to say ‘they are doing it now - another 5 minutes’. When I suggested a few minutes later that perhaps he might offer us another coffee given we had finished ours, the manager intervened. Again instead of enquiring about it, it was immediately suggested that I was being angry. Well, sorry for breathing and for enquiring about the status of our breakfast, but this is not angry. It was asked for perfectly calmly. But what does make an angry customer is the subsequent lies and deliberate deceit by a manager who refuses to accept that an error had been made. Absurdly, as the food was delivered she offered a refund. I said no, I don’t want a refund, but I suggest you offer another coffee. That wasn’t forthcoming and the staff and manager proceeded to giggle on. It’s not funny - it’s just bad service and very poor form. The range of baked goods looks terrific, but so let down by bad service and a refusal to be generous enough to admit error, Never again visiting this place.

Visited this bakery this weekend, such a delicious counter. Many different breads & pastries on sale. It was the cube croissants I had heard outstanding reviews about. There are a variety of flavours chocolate, mixed berries but I am a mango fan. I was so delighted they lived up to the hype, huge amount of fresh mango custard inside and on top, freshest croissant. Recommend 100%, friendly , quick counter service. I will definitely be back.

Despite high hopes this was a disappointing experience. Cake and cappuccino to go. Pretty simple order. Asked to wait outside for the coffee. After rather a lengthy wait it was clear they had forgot to ask the barista for my cappuccino. No big deal. Cashier noticed me then requested it. However the barista makes a cappuccino comes out with it in a cup and saucer. Wanders about for abbot then goes inside. I ask if that should have been to go. She says oh yes. Then goes in - dumps it into a takeaway cup and put a tonne more chocolate on top. Absolutely no shame. It was a really unpleasant cappuccino- which was not cheap. More of a shaken up mocha. Terrible service and there are much better places for coffee in Hampstead

Sono venuto con un amico a colazione qui per provare come cosa principale il cubo ripieno, noi abbiamo ascoltato la commessa che ci ha consigliato cioccolato, l’alternativa era marmellata oppure un altra crema agrodolce, allora impasto non male ma la crema di cioccolata è diversa sia a vederla che al sapore. è un cioccolato al latte ma non troppo forte e forse qui è l’errore perché mi sembrava montato con della panna. Poi prendo anche un doughnut alla crema, bocciato, impasto secco e crema non di mio gradimento, strana direi, e poi infine prendiamo il bread pudding e devi dire che questi non era affatto male. Se dovesse ricapitarmi di arrivare qui prenderò altre cose perché il bancone è molto fornito.

I went to this bakery in Nov 22 to have the vanilla custard doughnut, which I have had before a few times. The owner - a female was the only person serving at the till at the time. She left me by saying someone will be with you, while she started to rearrange something elsewhere, which was fine. However, she didn't motion to any other person to serve me, eventually the other worker looked perplexed and served me. The owner is very rude and I wonder how she can have that bad customer service for herself. I have bought the olive studded bread and the vanilla doughnuts, and was going to purchase a few of their other products, but definitely won't be spending a penny no more there after that day. As a ex local there, I have told my friends who live there not to go there, unless they don't mind bad service. Please adopt a more favourable customer service !

Delicious doughnuts - a diamond place! Usually hate having to go London, hate the hustle but can find calmness and THE MOST delicious doughnuts I have ever tasted. Karma is a little bakery and cafe in Hampstead. It serves excellent brunches and truly excellent bread, pastries and doughnuts. It has lovely energy and is the place that I take any visitors to london. Special shout-out to their cinnamon bun.
