Absolutely appalling experience at KFC Gatwick. The food was very cold , the staff were unhelpful, and the place was messy. To top it off, I received a £60 fine from MET Parking despite not overstaying! The parking system is clearly flawed, and there’s no accountability. I tried to appeal, but it’s a complete nightmare. Avoid this place unless you want overpriced chicken and an unjust parking fine to ruin your day!

I got a parking ticket while visiting to pick up rubbish food for 10 minutes parking. I asked the person at the front if I needed to.do anything for the parking and they said nothing was required. Interested if they could publish how many visit store and how many are getting fines. They should be looking after their customers. May be as they are a franchise they do not care for the good name of KFC.

Please help! I visited the restaurant and noticed a sign that clearly stated that KFC customers are entitled to 60 minutes of free parking. I parked my car, made a purchase, and left within the allotted time frame. However, I later received a letter from MET Parking Services demanding a £100.00 payment for not validating my parking ticket. I promptly sent an email to KFC, attaching my receipt and proof of my 40-minute stay at the establishment. Unfortunately, they declined to assist me and advised me to follow the procedure outlined by MET Parking Services. I am deeply disappointed that my loyalty as a customer has resulted in this unexpected penalty.

I have been eating here for a while, but usually the drive through. Not had a problem until....... I parked up here and had a meal with my son and got a parking fine from the parking firm MET. I appealed it with proof that i was a paying customer, i did not outstay my time or anything else. They said that i was in breach of T&C and i now have 14 days to pay or go to court. I spoke to KFC for help too and they said its a 3rd party company and have no control. Shocking, that it for me not going back. Plenty more Chicken places to eat.

The food was nothing short of horrendous. The chicken was barely warm and dripping in grease, the fries were soggy and cold, the chicken popcorn was also cold and soggy and they forgot one of our drinks prompting us to have to drive all the way round the one way system to get it. They also didn’t include straws or napkins so ended up having to wipe my hands on the carpet in my car. Dreadful.

Cold & Slow, after queueing for 8 minutes then the food was around 12 minutes we drove off only to have cold food. Was pointless to drive back in to the one way road system & not be able to go in the store!

I used this KFC twice in the last two weeks, and in both instances I have been shocked by the incredibly low standards of the staff operating the drive thru. They don't understand their menu, they contradict each other and put one and other down to customers, are rude and incredibly unhelpful. Their whole approach suggests they don't want to be working there. One of my kids (15) was so shocked at the staff that she refused to eat her food though fear of what they might be doing to it behind the scenes. Suggest going to McDonald's next door, where incredibly the people are a completely different level.

Stopped here to treat my 2 toddlers after dropping their mom at the airport. Spent ages chasing and changing babies after they made a mess. On my own. Just paid my £170 parking fine as I moved house and they couldn't find me. Never again!!!!! Family restaurant????

Just brought the 9 pieces of chicken on a Tuesday deal for me and my mate and was very disappointed to get home to find 7 drumsticks and two small wings. School boy error I should have checked the box before I left. I was hoping for 9 piece selection of chicken not mostly drumsticks.

visited today and received excellent friendly and warm customer service from Mario, he even double checked our order before giving it to us as he hadn't sorted it and we didn't want any drumsticks in our bucket thank you Mario you're a superstar

One of worst kfc I’ve had . Couldn’t hear the guy on drive thru had an attitude When got order it was in complete cold and batter soft No serviettes salt etc... just thrown in the bag . Terrible service

My hot wings were raw inside (pictures attached). What if you take your little kids there & they don't know it's not safe to eat bleeding/red chicken.It's time for Head Office to take critical steps to step change this store.I did try to ring the store before posting this to ask them to ensure they're cooking it properly, but no one picked up the phone - posting online was last resort.

Cold food. Incomplete order - twice. Very small portions compared to other outlets. Charged for out of stock sides. Warm flat Diet coke. Not really much going for it.Staff didn't really care about the missing items and didn't offer a refund. I would avoid and head next door to McDonalds if you want fast food.

Horrible service, when you need something they just answer “sorry No” and if you ask for a manager same respond from him as well! Not helpful at all, most of the staff there look like they hate their life! I hope high management read those reviews and will do something about it,because at the end of the day this is KFC Gatwick Airport!

first time visting the new kfc and wont be returning. Waited 20 minutes for stone cold food. Cheese on my burger was still a slice, not melted in the slightest! After waiting 15 minutes, my krushems still hadn't arrived; when asking where they were I was abruptly answered back to "theyre coming, WAIT!" Returned all the food, including the half filled sloppy krushems for a full refund and no apology. Absolutely appalling!!

This is second time i am going to this place. This kfc was a brand new outlet, with a big car park, clean toilets and good sitting area. Just near to Gatwick Airport. Customer service was good, but for some unknown reason, after the order, the average waiting time is 15 to 20 mts to get food. This is the second time I am experience this delay from here.. Food quality is good and up to the standard. If they overcome this delay problem, this place will be best of fastfood near Gatwick Airport..

Waited 25 minutes in the drive through queue because they clearly have staffing issues made worse by poor training. Once we got to the window, having waited 25 minutes to get to that point we were told they were only taking cash as their card machines were not working. Complete waste of my time with no apology for the long delay!

Waited 30 minutes for food. This seems a usual occurrence here, as always understaffed. Believe the staff are also under trained but this worked in my favour resulting in a free cookie due to lack of sweet corn, which in the 30 minute wait they obviously got a delivery off. Chicken is also slightly pink at times. Poor management clearly.

I’ve been waiting for a KFC drive thru to open up locally, so I had high expectations when I heard one was opening up at Gatwick. Asphetically the store looks great with the potential to be a real competitor to its neighbouring McDonald’s. I’ve visited this branch many times with my partner as it’s convinent and a nice treat, although every single time the service has been absolutely awful. I’ve never witnessed such a nightmare in my life, I witnessed members of staff leaving there microphone on through the drive thru speaker, and slating other staff members and the store itself whilst waiting to try and put my order in. Still having not ordered and again, being told to wait whilst they finished of their chat. Not only that, there have been multiple times that other things have happened such as being sold items that they don’t have then trying to get a replacement of something I don’t even want instead of a refund. To be honest there’s been no improvement and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any better. Also would suggest that Daniel doesn’t go on tills and the team makes abit more effort with customer service skills.

As a brand new KFC, a little leeway has to be given for 'teething issues', however the earlier poor reviews were troubling. That said, the food was absolutely fine when we went, and the brand new building / seating etc. was appreciated and clean and tidy. The main issue was with the touchscreen ordering system. We ordered for four (myself, my wife and two daughters) at a screen, went to pay and the whole screen went blank and commenced 'rebooting'. We moved to another screen, ordered everything again... this time the payment screen kept saying 'payment failed try again Y/N?' even though I hadn't even tried to enter my card yet! So a THIRD time of ordering everything, this time at the desk. I mentioned the problems but the staff seemed disinterested, and as we ate we saw other customers battling with the screens. Why not just turn them off? It's not like the place was heaving when we were there? It's just wasting everyone's time, when they could have coped with ordering at the desk in person. It's a shame the staff on duty don't apply a little common sense or leadership skills sometimes.

So I’ve just finished a 12 hour shift at Gatwick and was so hungry so decided to try out the new KFC.. I ordered a wicked zinger meal with extra wings. All paid for. Got home to discover they had missed out the wings, the side and I had the tiniest amount of fries. So disappointing. Couldn’t complain there as I’d already drove away and discovered this dismal meal when I got home.

Used the new KFC Drive through at Gatwick Airport, wish I hadn't! As I drove round to the order point noticed that the carpark and restaurant were virtually empty. Placed my order and drove to first window, tried to pay and was to "hold on a minute" as the young man serving was to busy laughing and messing around on his mic and earpiece. Paid my money which is higher than other KFC's, went to second window and was greeted by a second young man who told me my order was being made up. Then the first young man turned up shouting and being generally an idiot with his mates. Got food and took it home, when we went to eat it found that the fries were cold and disgusting. Tried the chicken, cold rock hard but the skin and coating managed to be soggy and foul. Well done what an achievement!! I would suggest you train your staff in customer service and how to cook food as if this continues it will close very quickly.

A large group of us had a meal here for a darts team night out and we're very disappointed the service was very bad staff didn't really look like they know what they were doing and a lot of the group I was with didn't like the food (mine was very nice) a lot of stuff had to be sent back for being incorrect and the price was a rip off almost £5 I paid for a bottle of beer won't be going again

I forgot to write a review and I just remembered as I was going through my wallet and saw the Jamie's Coffee Lounge review card. I went to Gatwick last year, I think it was August or September time. I had a nice pesto and mozzarella sandwich, I think, my mom had a coffee. Our staff that day were Kristina and Lucia, many thanks to them for a nice service and their positive attitude, very much appreciated. My sandwich was delicious and my mom enjoyed her coffee. All is good despite the prices, good old London haha.

To put it bluntly Yes it is that BAD!. Used to be called Chiana Peking & when it failed they rebranded it Mings. Greasy unpleasant food. zero manners from manager when things go wrong. Ordered a sweet & sour battered chicken, it to arrive with no Sweet & sour sauce? only to be told you have to pay for the sauce extra Yes Really!.

My wife went to Starbucks car park, Southgate Park, Stansted Airport to get a coffee as my flight got delayed. She parked at Starbucks car park for 26 min, but Starbucks was already closed that time. MET Parking services sent parking charge notice as she was not considered a customer as Starbucks was closed. The parking fee notice board clearly says 60 min free for customers. She did not know that once Starbucks closed, she had to pay from the minute she parked. Be careful, MET Parking Services must have raised millions from people simply displaying misleading information.

I ordered for my lunch break at work, I ordered 1.5 hours in advance an booked a delivery time as I only get 30mins for lunch. The restraunt accepted the order an verified the time slot. 5 mins before my lunch break they decided to cancel my order, leaving me working a 12 hour shift without food or time to make any other sort of order.... (they didn't even bother to call an give me a heads up), I only noticed the email once the time slot had actually passed, my food was late, a 3rd of my break already gone. So I was looking for the receipt so I could get the number to check where my food is an that's when I found the email informing me it's not coming 😔 I understand stuff happens but not to call an let me know 🤔 I think that's just awful way to treat customers who's bookings an money you already accepted, they did issue a refund but it's not the point here.
