KFC Canterbury - Maybrook Retail Park in Canterbury

I had the pleasure of dining at a KFC outlet this evening, and it turned out to be a thoroughly positive experience. I ordered the Zinger Burger and the Zinger Rice Meal, and both dishes met and exceeded my expectations. The Zinger Burger was a delight—crispy, golden-fried chicken sandwiched between fresh, soft buns, complemented by a creamy mayo and crunchy lettuce. The flavors were well-balanced, and the chicken was cooked to perfection: juicy and flavorful without being overly greasy. The Zinger Rice Meal was equally impressive. The rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, serving as the perfect base for the spicy, crunchy chicken fillet. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying and hearty meal. The accompanying side of gravy added an extra layer of flavor, tying the dish together beautifully. The service at this outlet deserves special mention. The staff were courteous, efficient, and attentive, ensuring that the dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. The cleanliness of the dining area was also commendable, with tables being promptly cleaned and the overall atmosphere being welcoming. One detail that stood out was how quickly the food was served, even during what seemed to be a busy dinner rush. The outlet seemed well-managed, with every team member working seamlessly to deliver excellent customer service. Overall, my visit to this KFC outlet was a delightful experience, and I’d happily return for another meal. The combination of great food, efficient service, and a pleasant dining environment made for an enjoyable evening. Highly recommended!

Very quick service and friendly staff.

After another botched just eat delivery. I called the store. A young lady called NABI dealt with my anger ajd frustration EXCELLENTLY. She apologised over and over even tho not her's or the stores fault and then OFFERED TO DROP MY FOOD TO MY HOUSE ON HER WAY HOME 👌🏾 obviously I declined and went and collected myself. Again thank you NABI

0 service, payed £50 and never received. No answer from phone number supplied. Ordered at 7pm. Don't order from here

The order came in way earlier than usual but the food was very cold, had no taste and very stale. Tasted like it being prepared a long time ago. Really left a bad impression because I really love KFC. Food was very terrible.

Sunday Evening desperate for food Three adults Two grandchildren. Food was served cold, as it had to wait for the drinks to be made. It all felt rather worn out and uncaring. PARKING No body mentioned as we were eating in, DON"T STAY MORE THAN 45 Minutes otherwise you'll get a fine of £100 we stayed for 55 minutes OUCH we had two cars. Adds to the feeling of They Don't care for their customers.

The food took 50 minutes to arrive (should have been 10 -25) so the food was cold, also the gravy was missing from the order. We are charged fees for service and delivery when neither one of these things are given consideration.

The restaurant was packed at the time we passed. The tenders are much less generous than in France, in terms of volume, almost twice as small, and the prices are much more expensive. The tables were dirty (not cleaned between two customers) but perhaps that was due to the crowds at that time! Spaces between tables are kept to a minimum In short, nothing to envy of France

Ridiculous- every time I pressed on the chicken I wanted it kept disappearing as they were refusing to make me my chiken. I am APPALED by this behaviour. I would not recommend. Save your money it’s an overpriced scam and I didn’t even get to spend my money on it bc they Wudnt sell it to me. #discirmination.

Took 2 hours, refused at the door so we did not receive food (yet order says delivered????) restaurant wouldn't answer phone for over an hour and only answered when food driver picked it up an hour 50 minutes later) Waiting for refund.

never arrived ,after circling my area for about 20mins driver marked my order as delivered! but it's not here! appalling service

I will not be ordering from here again. There has been so many times that the drivers are unable to locate my grandmothers house. Please get your drivers a functioning satellite navigation system or only hire people with local knowledge of the area.

Absolutely shocking service this evening. Waited an hour for food (spent £50+) and would have never received any if I hadn't gone to the counter to ask where the order was. This was our usual kfc but every Friday it’s a nightmare always 25 mins + waiting time but today was just too long. Never received an apology either. Total lack of etiquette. Won’t be coming back to this location ever again.

Probably the best kfc burger I’ve ever had. It was quiet and service was a bit slower but it was out of McDonald’s or this… best decision

Good & tasty. But the chip portion was extremely small. I'm very disappointed. About 9 chips. May have been under packed. Price of £3.19 should be lowered for fries generally especially if that quantity. £2.99 for beans is overpriced so didn't order.

The food was nice, but the service wasn't great, never waited for so long for my food, maybe they was short staffed, but the state of the restaurant was appalling, there was food all over the floor, serviettes, cutlery, and the bin where you put your rubbish was piled high with waste, 1st time that I've been here and the restaurant looked such a mess.

Courier was fine. Thank you. With KFC it varies. Usually it is ok. Today I found it very greasy. The chicken wasn't meaty enough or succulent. The meat was very little. Was still hungry. So not so good. The chips were very nice. 7 up nice and cold.

Small order (easy to remember) but the drinks were not ours so we had to get them changed. Not sure the staff enjoy working there they don't seem happy. It was freezing cold inside so I had to get my coat from the car. Watch out for the horrible steel posts in the car park they will do some damage to your car!

I ordered a 6 piece bargain bucket, when it arrived there were 5 chicken drumsticks, only 5 pieces and all drumsticks and only 2 portions of chips. It was very disappointing. I tried to call the restaurant but there was no reply. I have emailed KFC directly and they have told me to contact Just Eat for a refund. The ordering was fine, the delivery was on time, the driver was, as always very polite, the food was hot. The only problem was the food in the sealed bag. I am very happy with Just Eat and very angry with the customer service at KFC.

Food is nice, but I genuinely don't remember the last time I got exactly what I ordered. They just keep missing to add some of the stuff I ordered. Today it was sweet chilli bites, last time it was a salad, before that it was hot wings... This happening almost every single time is ridiculous and the food can't make up for it.

when initially ordered the times given were between 17.50 and 18.10, this changed to 18.15, then between 18.15 and 1835, then 18.37. It eventually arrived at 18.38. this is after I gave a £3.00 tip. The map doesn't work either to track the order. At the same time I placed an order for meals from Westgate Fish Bar (which is further away ) THIS ORDER ARRIVED 5 MIN EARLY AT 17.55)

It's fine, even though not busy, quite slow (there seemed to be a backlog of food). Even though it's been a long time since last having KFC, the chicken wasn't very nice and the chips/fries are now horrible! All in all, for the price and taste...can't see myself going back to any KFC.

Food was fine, service and everything else was absolutely terrible and staff attitude throwing sauce down at you is not on. Try to take your money and not provide what you’ve actually ordered. Half the order was left on the side whilst they waited 7 minutes for other chicken to cook so half the food was cold…. Worst KFC I’ve ever been too

Controversial I know but my youngest (5) claims that KFC now does "the best chips ever".

Food is always good quality but they sometimes skimp on filling the portion sizes correctly, mostly a fast service, but the gormless cleaner is incredibly off-putting standing there staring at you

The chicken is never fresh. Most times items are missing. I like KFC however always get let down when I order.

Gravy lid was not on properly, soaked through the bag and subsequently spilled all over my clothes and bedding!

Food arrived late although this was due to the driver who told us "I'm sorry but I nipped home quickly before I came with your food". We had been following him on the map and he was at a certain place for 10 minutes with our food on board. No doubt this was when he had "nipped" home. Food arrived soggy and cold. Had to microwave it to heat it up which was not good.

Awful!!! They did not deliver my food! You should have a code that they the driver has to input before handing the delivery. I now have to wait 7 days before potentially hearing back or getting a refund and no food.

Chips had gravy dribbled over them. The hot wings weren’t good quality at all - mostly fat and gristle
