KFC Torquay - Fleet Street in Torbay

Typical KFC food as expected. Premises though seemed run down. Plenty local kids in there messing around and throwing chips at each other. There was one older chap in there who was asleep and had his hand stuck inside his chips...I hope he wasn't dead??

If you are thinking of going into this branch of KFC....... don't !!! Absolute chaos, placed my order for two mini fillet burgers at 2:13pm on Saturday 11 Jan. The order appeared on the "We are cooking your food" screen and after about 15 minutes moved on the "Your order is ready" screen . When I went to the counter to pick up my order I was told it wasn't ready so I pointed out that according to the screen it was. I was then told that even though one screen said it was ready the screen the staff use did'nt as the two screens don't work together. I then waited another 1/2 hour and still no food even though orders which I witnessed being ordered after mine were being served. When I queried why orders weren't being processed in order I was simply told they just weren't. Finally I gave up and asked for the manager to who I complained and asked as to why everything was such a shambles and with no satisfactory answer I asked for a refund. There were other irate customers there who had waited longer than me with children in tow. I personally never eat this crap and only ventured in because my other half does like it and we thought it would be a quick snack. My advise would be to go anywhere other than KFC. The staff were slow and nigh on useless at chasing up my order and lets be fair, fast food it definitely aint. They employ kids, who have by the looks of it no training and no idea how to run a business . KFC IF YOU READ THIS, SORT OUT THIS PLACE AND GET YOUR STAFF TRAINED AND A SYSTEM IN PLACE THAT WORKS BECAUSE IT DEFINITLY DOESENT AT THE MO. I"LL BE HAPPY TO GIVE SOME POINTERS.

We popped in one Friday evening. Very disappointed indeed

Ordered through just eat and Ordered 4 pieces of chicken with chips and a can of drink. Waited almost 2 hours. Food arrived ice cold and soggy. I only got 1 meatless chicken wing and 1 peice of chicken with 14 chips. Totally inedible. The only correct thing was cold drink. Never again. Wouldn't recommend and intend to go to the place in person as they don't take calls at all. Obviously complained to just eat directly, at least they email you back.

Dirty horrible place. This will be my last visit to the Torquay KFC. 44 minutes to get my food. Staff haven't got a clue what they are doing. Not at all organised. Some people were getting their food quicker and missing orders out from people who had been waiting a lot longer.

Permanently short stuffed, takes ages to get your order, waste of time and money, just close the place down at this point

My food never arrived and I had to order again through a different app

l receive burnt and very dry pizza on 1 December and l reported to the shop. They came to pick it and l haven't received refund but l have been communication with the shop since only today they told me to go through just it which l was not aware of that process. It was delivered to TQ3 2JT Barnfeld road Paignton

Poor service and poor communication

Suprise suprise food cold and some food missing AGAIN. Not even worth this anymore, just happy that just enough at a push to still provide for everyone, including the child that the meal just didn’t turn up for, what a suprise

First they forgot to send my drinks and I go to enjoy a nice chocolate chip cookie to find out they sent white chocolate chip cookies, I hate white chocolate!!!

Unbelievably long waiting time

The tub of beans was half empty, and there was no lettuce in the burger. Very very disappointed as the meal cost almost £30 .

Delivery time kept getting moved to later than first quoted

it never arrived. was ordered over two hours ago, and at 21:51 it said it was delivered around 21:15 when it had never arrived

Very worst service I’ve ever seen. I was waiting for more than 50 minutes for one simple order .After that they said I have to wait for another 10 minutes otherwise they will refund . However, they served others more than 10-12 customers who ordered after me. Very rude behaviour. Without food I have to return at home. They made me upset. They never apologise . Shame shame shame for KFC

the order arrived and hour later than expected 2/3 of the order was missing and when I called to fjnd out where the order was I was tolf i woulf hav eto make a deco d order to have the jbitial items sent out

Food arrived cold and very late

I order online and when 2/3 of my items weren't delivered I was told I would have to place another order to receive the items I didn't receive

After waiting over an hour and a half I called the restaurant and they told me the order went out for delivery almost 30 minutes before I called. The food still wasn't here another 40 minutes after I called, when it did arive it was cold and inedible

Very rude staff , I ordered to eat inn but they put to take away. I ask for a tray for my food . The young lady with the short dark hair she give me the trays 10 pcs. Of trays. but she throws the tray’s towards me . Very bad experience . And bad costumer service. Very poor service.

Mixed up the gravy with the beans. The delivery drivers need to read the delivery notes.

Just had food delivered by just eat, yes it was delivered on time, but food was bad, chicken fillets very dry husband couldn't eat them, my hot wings were also very dry to much coating not enough meat, also the meal was cold,it ended up in the bin.

very disappointed in our meals tonight, the chicken fillets were very dry and cold husband couldn't eat them, my hot wings had 2 pieces missing and this was also very dry and to much coating and hardly any meat, and everything was cold, needless to say it will be a long time if ever we use KFC again spent nearly 20 pounds and most of it went into the bin.

This is the 2nd time in a row now our order has been missing items. Not sure how hard it is to read a screen but these lot are clearly incapable of doing so. You’ll either have missing items, cold food or something else completely different delivered.

Excellent customer care, cleaned environment and relaxed location,just on the high street. The toilets is also cleaned.

Totally shambolic service, uber and Just eat get priority, food hanging around on the side getting cold, understaffed, none of the staff appeared to know how to use the ordering service, took 35 minutes to get our order, now that's fast food.

Only because the apps estimated delivery time updates but the minute, it doesn’t make it okay for the food to constantly be delayed. Also, the food too so long to be delivered once it left the restaurant that It was stone cold. Also, missing food.

first order decided to cancel while it was on its way, second order all the burgers were just buns, lettuce and chicken, no sauce, no cheese, no hash browns. the twister is supposed to have two fillets in it, this one that we waited over an hour fir had one fillet cut in half. Not good enough KFC, sort it out.

just like last time, when the food arrived it was too cold and had to be reheated in the microwave. why do your drivers not use heated bags because they have more than one delivery to do when they leave the restaurant. I am seriously thinking of never using Just Eat ever again

Ordered 3 boneless banquets boxes only received 2 boxes on Tuesday 29th October 2024, phoned takeaway said I had to contact just eat. My granddaughter did same night but no answer, no refund as yet.

I asked for no ketchup on my burger, and I was delivered a burger with ketchup. I don’t like ketchup, and didn’t want ketchup, and clearly stated this in the requests. Other establishments have managed this request, you did not. It meant that I couldn’t eat my burger, which sadly ruined my order.

I have asked for a refund from Just Eat as three items is unacceptable. There needs to be some form of quality control or checking of orders before they go out. Getting to the point where I won’t be ordering from this restaurant.

Waited an hour for my food to arrive cold, dips were wrong and also missing the sweet chilli bites instead I got popcorn chicken. Terrible KFC won’t order from this one again.
