If you want a quiet curry and a talk, it's not the right place. If you like loud music with your friends during the meal you will be happy. My friend had to look for the meat in the curry sauce, the Roti is not the best. The rest is okay Indian food. Service was friendly and flawless.

This is a lovely restaurant with a wide range of foods. Service is excellent from our recent experiences. The only tricky aspect is there is not a lot of parking spaces.

Xmas 🎄 menu not good / ok starters the main of lamb madras very bland , naan bread tasted shop bought / small pokey desert / no coffees included and a set price of 55.00 total rip off never again !

Came here for brunch a couple of days ago with my cousins. I browsed the menu on their website before going and thought it looked really good. I didn't realise it was the place with the pods as this place was suggested by my cousin. I think I was a bit underwhelmed with the aesthetic of the restaurant. The exterior was unassuming, and the interior was more homely when I was expecting a more modern/contemporary vibe. But it wasn't a disappointment. Anyway, there are a variety of items on the brunch menu, which was good. I ordered the fully loaded breakfast with a house chai. The food was nice and filling. I really enjoyed it. I think next time we come, I would want to book a pod for us to experience it because it did look pretty cool. Would definitely recommend trying this place.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. Everything about the place is sensational. The decor, the staff, the service and of course the food. Highly recommend the VIP pods too, they are fantastic.

Very mixed feelings. The starters were great, I had the veg samosa and they were top class, the rest of the table loved theirs too. That’s when it went downhill… we were SO rushed, to the point some of the table were being pressured to give up their plates before even finishing their food. Then came the mains… forget about the chilli scale on the menu. It means nothing. I had the Jalfrezi and it was bland and watery. My step mum ordered a prawn dish that was supposed to be less spicy and almost caused a heart attack. In fairness they did refund the dish. Between the pressure to eat mad quick and poor menu guide. I’d not come back again.

Unusually, the service was too fast. Before we had all finished our starters the staff were trying to take plates away and put down the plates for the main. I was even instructed, ‘give me those plates’ … ‘all the knives and forks’ I’d say there was less than 5 minutes between finishing our starter and receiving our main. We tried to eat our mains slowly - otherwise the whole meal would have lasted less than an hour. However, the staff offered us takeaway bags after 30 mins. I would get as a takeaway but I wouldn’t visit this restaurant again, despite the food good.

Went for an informal work meal. I enjoyed my meal but there were limited vegetarian options. I liked the call button at the table as it meant staff came when we wanted them and were not hovering the whole meal

I ordered food yesterday chicken 65. Oh my god it is full of colour. I did not it is food safe to pregnant women or babies. I am seriously concerned. I hope the restaurant stop this food colours for the sake of public health

Advertised on various food bloggers/ influencers that this place is fully Halal however no one mentions that they serve alcohol. Was excited to try this place after seeing all the hype on social media however was very disappointed and won't be recommending. The lamb karahi was lacking flavour and the meat was tough and not enjoyable at all. The desi chicken had more flavour however the chicken pieces hadn't had the fat removed which was off putting. The naan was nice at first however when you got to the end and the thicker part it was quite doughy. The cheese kebab was nice. I had messaged and they said they have a car park but didn't mention how small it was and that some of the surrounding streets are permit only so had to park a bit further away. The service from the staff was probably the only good thing about our visit! Not worth the visit, quite expensive for what it was.

This place is an example of social media fooling you! Awful food no taste, very quick at serving ( getting it over and done with). The cutlery was awful no sense of presentation !!!!! Would not recommend for Asians especially.

It was my first ever visit to this place n I only went in for tea but I wasn’t expecting such a cosy atmosphere and well trained staff who welcome you at the door and then takes you straight to your table after checking for your booking only if you need to otherwise they welcome walk-in as well but I would recommend online booking if you are coming in a large group. They do have outdoor sitting as well but different way of sitting, VIP pods they call it.

We love it here the brunch is absolutely amazing and we get full services all the time. One staff in particular Sakib is always going out of his way to come to us and check if we are okay or if we need anything. He’s always making our trips there a wonderful experience and making our special days even more special with his lovely smile and gestures he brings to the place, so I would like to thank him for always catering us and making us wanting to come back for more.

Had birthday party staff very nice service was excellent and the food was delicious very friendly atmosphere

We had a private pod which was a different experience, as you enter the pod its like a tent door opening with zip on one side. The pod ad 2 windows open but as an heater in which keeps you warm and you don't feel the cold if you keep the windows open. The service is really quick and there is a bell/buzzer you can press for service if you need/want anything and the staff are there straight away. The food is good and you get plenty we ordered 4 starters, 4 mains, 4 ciders, 2 pina colada's and 4 soft drinks and the bill was under £150 so it is reasonably cheap for the expense.

This place has no consideration for their neighbours blasting music after asking them multiple time to turn it down, they then went on to turn it up full blast so that my house was shaking, I wouldn’t of been to bothered about loud music as we have all done it at some point but I have a new born baby and I told them this when I went over to ask them to turn it down and this is when they turned the music full blast, absolutely outrageous behaviour, plus the food is horrific as well ( stop parking illegally on the main road)

First time dining in a pod, was a lovely and enjoyable experience. I loved the privacy we had, we were able to control the music and call for assistance when necessary. The green lamb chops were a crowd favourite and interesting idea!

Granted we were there for their brunch menu at 10am, their service and food was great. I can't fault on atmosphere either as the decor was great and ambient music was on point. Food was delicious and filling and actually great value for money for a place like this. I've been to worse places that were more expensive for a similar dish.

Lovely restaurant serving delicious food. Friendly helpful staff would definitely recommend. The menu was varied so something for everyone.

We went here for my daughters birthday, the vip pods are beautiful the service we recieved was absolutely brilliant from start to finish they couldn't do enough for us especially the lady the food was really nice and she even brought my daughter a birthday dessert with a sparkle candle free of charge which was a lovely surprise. If you have never been here you need to go you won't be disappointed 💯 😁

Sticky table n dirty menu... didn't think food that special for money

Popped in for an early tea with work colleagues. Love the outside settings, waterfalls and pods but we're seated inside on this occasion as being early doors on a Thursday it was pretty quiet. Choice of food was extensive for an Indian restaurant with all the expected dishes but a few id never heard of before. One of our group asked if the did a Dansak as it wasn't on the menu but this was declined which was disappointing. I've been in plenty of other Indian restaurants where this wouldn't have been a problem. Saying that the food was very tasty but nothing exceptional but worth the money as it wasn't too expensive. If in Oldham again I would go, if not gor the food, but to fine in one of the outside pods!

Dined in today with my kids and friends, absolutely amazing service and even better was the delicious food. From the cocktails down to the mains everything was bang on! Super impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks, pleasantly surprised by how delicious the tea was as well! All the staff there were so nice and accommodating especially KAY, thank you for everything! Would deffo recommend the lamb chops and tacos in the starters as they were sooo good! The curries were so nice as well, super impressed and honestly I ate soo much I left feeling stuffed. Would deffo recommend this place for friends, families and couples as they cater to all. Do visit if you are after good food and a beautiful atmosphere.

The interior was good, the music too loud for my liking, we had a get together catchup, perhaps not the best place as we were shouting in order for the person next to us to be able to hear. Service was bit rushed off but can overlook that. The main drawback was the food, it was not good. I would never go back. Ordered butter chicken (recommended dish) as the main and the chicken was undercooked and off poor quality. The spice balance was completely off…again I can over look the spice balance taking into account probably catered for the western palate but the quality of the chicken and being undercooked was a complete put-off.

Booked a table for my dad's 60th. Great venue. Lovely decor. Was really surprised at how nice the place is. I've been to some fantastic curry houses in the city centre and this was better than most of those. I'll definitely be going back! Special thanks to the lovely lady behind the bar that helped to sort my dad's cake out.

Awful service never had service like this whenever been in the past. Wasn’t seated and already told we have till 10.30 to get out and not looked at the menu and was told to give our order. At 10pm asked for drinks and was told bars closed and can’t serve any more drinks. Food was awful asked for lamb & chicken karhai and was full off peppers and onions no chicken or lamb in the dish. The biryani was tasteless, chicken rice dish had too much soya sauce. Felt like everything was just reheated and left overs. The chicken tikka was just 2 chicken tikka strips. Asked to complain to manager and chef and was told they have already gone. All my family got food poisoning all got bad stomachs and vomiting. Paid £240 for rubbish food NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN DISGUSTED

The tiffin lunch actually comes in a traditional Indian layered tiffin box. Keep your beverage handy to counter the spice levels!

Fantastic food but rushed service booked a table for 2000pn told to attend at 2030pm at 2200pm they gave us the bill without us asking and without us having a sweet or a coffee in other words F off very poor customer experience

Could not fault the atmosphere and service provided by the brother who served us. However, food conquers all and this did not get the win 🤦‍♂️ I understand most Indian restaurant's in the UK have been tailored to accommodate the western palate. Which is why I steer clear of them in the main but this has been on my list for a while and the opportunity presented itself. We ordered several starters and mains (w naan rice chips etc). The chaat which I was looking forward to was not that great but the green lamb chops were nice. The mains were unfortunately not the greatest, the prawn curry packed no punch and was tasteless, wish the meal was good to mirror the service we received. I have seen a lot of reviews saying they are pricey, but for the quantity ordered which included several children’s meals, it was reasonable. I have seen they frequently run promotions so it’s probably one to try when they are on. Maybe I will try the brunch menu next time.

We booked the pod, which comes with a heater and fan, so it doesn't matter what the weather throws at you. The food was tremendous, I truly enjoyed having an authentic bombay curry.

Came here for my birthday meal and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and service. We booked one of the vip pods which were really vibey, there was a Bluetooth speaker that you could connect to and play your own music from, a heater, a fan and a bell to ring for service (although we never needed to use it). The service was exceptionally fast for both food and drinks and the waiters were so polite and helpful especially Sayam, who served us most of the night. The food was absolutely unreal, the chicken chaat tacos were definitely the highlight of the night. We can’t wait to come back again already :)

A warm welcome followed by some great food.

I enjoyed the lamb bhuna. And the look of the dining area. We have been before for birthday meals out as a group. I wasn't so impressed with things I'd asked for help with examples: 3 staff stud where I openly asked can I order a drink at any side of the bar? No answer so I just walked on and the lady heard me so took my drink order. While others and myself were still eating staff started taking things off the table over me and knocked my elbow. Put me right off how rude I was clearly still eating. Also we had to sort out the bill between us all at the end after I and others specifically asked to do it separately.

We had the VIP pod- loved it. Staff so attentive, just press the bell and they are there in a blink of an eye! The food was amazing! Portion sizes are substantial we had to pack up the leftovers and take it home. Can’t wait to go again!

Khau Galli is the most amazing place . The chicken chat tacos are superb . The lamb lassooni with mushroom rice is the best curry I've ever had .

Visited when passing. Nice restaurant good staff, great menu, nice big outdoor pods. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, slightly less oil would have been ideal. Restaurant and bathrooms clean, would definitely revisit

Cancelled before we went after reading some really bad reviews on trip advisor they were horrendous flies in food and cases of food poisoning to near to Xmas to get ill rung the restaurant to cancel they didn’t have the reservation on the system after I booked online ??????????

I don't have a single thing to complain about, everything was so well from the food to the aesthetic and the service from the staff was impeccable 👌 . I have previously been and really enjoyed my food . I went last pm . Great tasting food but sadly disappointed with the amount of chicken and prawns 🍤 in my dish . I had a king prawn dish which I shared with my partner . The prawns were cut in half . I had 1.5 prawns in my portion and my partner had 3.5 prawns . The chicken dish was also stingy with the chicken . I sadly will not be going again . Great flavour , just not value for money . Very disappointed to say the least 😳

Everyone has their own favourite restaurant for Indian food but I have to say nothing comes close to the quality of food from Khau Ghalli either for sit in or takeaway...good service..good atmosphere and absolutely outstanding cuisine.....love it ...love it...love it.

I ordered through Deliveroo and there was more than one missing item. Deliveroo never gave me a many sort of compensation and advised I speak to the restaurant as there was no receipt attatched. The manager said he was more than happy a replacement to 25 hawthorn road. He then calls me to say that it’s deliveries problem and I’m lying about contacting them and was extremely rude to me on the phone and hung up. The food was 10/10 oily and the customer service was the worst. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I wasted £45

One of the best places I have been for breakfast, the Bombay brunch thalli had a great selection of food. The house chai is a must have aswell.

We had hired the Outdoor Pods which were a lot more cramped than I thought they would be The booking times for the pods are really awkward we had booked from 4:30-6:30 but arrived at 5:30 and had the remaining hour left which was more than enough time I also had booked it for 2 people but there were 10 chairs in the pods- it would have been nice if they would have removed the extra chairs The lighting was really nice and the heater they provided was useful and definitely needed as it was quite cold in the pod- but that cannot be helped Food wise- it was okay, the chicken tacos starter was really nice, the biryani wasn’t the best and the indo Chinese chicken (which was classed as spicy) was not very spicy. The mocktails were basically syrup and were too sweet Staff were lovely and attentive Overall- A bit pricey for what the food was but the atmosphere was nice

Went here last night in the pods outside for our anniversary meal. Food was delicious! Service was amazing, our waiter Mo couldn’t do enough for us, so polite and friendly. We can’t wait to go back again

Firstly, the restaurant says that you have a ‘2 hour slot’ if you book one of the vip pods, when I booked online the only evening time available was 8:45 (they close at 10pm) very cheeky of them to say ‘2 hour slot’ when it’s a 1 hour 15 minute slot- I also paid £20 for this vip pod. Secondly, I ordered ‘green lamb chops’, they weren’t just green, they were a little on the burnt side. Thirdly, I ordered garlic chicken as a starter, 4 tiny pieces of chicken, that were dry and hard. Now the mains: Butter chicken Lamb Karahi That was definitely NOT butter chicken, it was nice but did not taste like butter chicken at all, not all places get this dish correct. It had an overbearing tomato taste and huge pieces of chicken instead of small bite size pieces. The lamb karahi really lacked flavour for me, it had a little bit of chilli but it tasted more of the peppercorn, elachi etc. There is no attentiveness from staff, no conversations or smiles- I think it’s very important to have that staff/customer interaction. The atmosphere and vibes were nice, so that lightened the mood a little. Overall, I was a little disappointed, as I went for my anniversary.

We went to khau ghalli after being recommended by a few family friends however the worst food I’ve had in my entire life. Kfc tastes a solid 100 out of 10. There was no salt in the food whoever makes curry dishes and starters without salt this isn’t angrezi food this is Indian food this needs to have salt there was no spice either how can food not have spices indian food that too. My husband and child did not like the food and my son said he would rather have kfc popcorn chicken As that tastes better who is the chef he needs a teaching. I’ve never been this disappointed in my life there was no flavour in the food. Please do better next time.

The service was awful, we paid a premium for the pods however it look us 1.5 hours for the food to arrive.
