Beautiful and picturesque bar, we went in because my son wanted to eat something, they only had some pre-prepared sandwiches that were good to get by with some ice-cold cans of Coca-Cola. The place and the decoration are fantastic, the staff very friendly, although there was no variety in food, I really enjoyed the place. I recommend it to go drink beer or alcohol.

What I would describe as a total discriminative pub. My dad and I went in for an afternoon drink where we were met with utter rudeness! We was met with the sheer unprofessionalism of staff that had no understanding of orders from there ‘manager’! We were given plastic cups for our beers when everybody else was served beers in glass, to which was explained that this was because they were ‘regulars’. We sat next to 8 different people, all with glasses, who said they had never been to this establishment! Totally let down and truly disappointed with the whole experience.

Visited Thursday evening for the first time . We enjoyed some well kept real ales. We'll definitely revisit asap.

Friendly nice people mainly local people but worth a visit

Fantastic old style pub, very homey and comfortable. Drinks are reasonably priced and the cobs are wonderful. Car park is a very good size as well, if you happen to not be drinking.

Been visiting this pub since moving to Halesowen 7 years ago. Beer very well kept, great friendly atmosphere and staff. Also they keep a stock of the jalapeno snacks which I'm addicted to!!!🤣

Do Not Attend very very very rude manager I went last night with a few of my friends last orders are at half 11 me and my friends got told our last order's are at half 10 because apparently they could smell cannabis there is a football ground right next to the pub and I saw a group of people gathering around then I smelt cannabis and me and my friends got the blame PS if I wanted to smoke it I would go off the property!!!! I'm not Stupid I've got a cancard what allows me to do it search it up! It's medicine this was my regular place to go for a drink but not anymore and my friends will not be attending anymore either such a shame was a nice place until Ray passed away Rip

This is a good old fashioned pub. Friendly team and a good selection of beers and lagers. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Do not go to this pub if you want to be sure you do not take COVID 19 to your home. Customers were walking to and fro with the majority of them not wearing masks. Only one of three staff wore a mask both sides of the counter ! And they do NOT offer contactless payment !! Cash only !! Do the authorities know about this place ?? You have been warned !!

Traditional black country pub great variety of beers!

We called into the King Edward for Sunday lunch as its got good reviews and it was close to the friends we were visiting in the area. The staff were lovely and helpful and the bar is very nice with good quality food too. We all went for the roast beef and veg with a dessert to finish off. The prices are very reasonable and good value. The bar has a cash only option on the day we visited so I'm not sure if it's a normal thing or just that they don't have a card option for the place. The bar has a very interesting decor with lots of signs and ordaments around the walls and it's quite quirky to see. Worth a visit if you're in the area and want a decent lunch at a reasonable cost.

Good choice of ales and Gins with the feel of a country pub. IT IS CASH ONLY I found it astounding that In the world we live in today that this place is CASH ONLY. Has a good choice of cobs/babs at the bar and does a Sunday lunch 2 course deal for 9.50. NO SWEARING. Great indoor decor and Covid precautions too. There is outside seating and friendly staff. Worth a visit just bring CASH.

A lovely, cosy little pub tucked away in the Halesowen suburbs, right next to the Halesowen Town football ground...always a warm, friendly welcome, and a beautifully adorned pub as well...

If you enjoy traveling regardless of the destination then consider a visit to this pub of yesteryear. On our recent outing we discovered another Black Country gem of a real ale pub. A traditional pub with retro decor and a clientele to match. Some very good real ales and no problem to try before you buy. Ray, the manager is a wonderful host who appears to enjoy his role and seems to have found his vocation in life.

Pub is very clean and comfortable. Beer was very good, one of my favorites Butty Bach. Nice atmosphere. I like that they do not tolerate swearing and display notices to that effect. It's a refreshing change to be able to have a drink without having your ears assaulted by swearwords.
