Overall cleanliness of the pub is poor. Tables not cleared and sticky. Food on carpets, dirty cutlery. The service at the bar is slow and dismal. The shepherds pie was similar to cat food, and the veg was gross. Sticky residue on the bottom of the glasses. Obviously the bar shelves are not clean Good parking tho so fair enough

Great Christmas menu delivered perfectly very impressive

Friendly bar staff. Bar snacks absolutely awful. A few nachos with dollops of squeeze cheese £9 and cheesy chips with no cheese tiniest bowl £4. Threw at our table . Awful

We chose this pub for the locality to all our homes. So glad we did as the Christmas lunch is probably the best we have had in the 20plus years we've been going out for Christmas dinner. Thank you to the staff for a lovely lunch and excellent service.

Always worth a beer or three ... Also check out the Food nice and Enjoy do some decent real ale. Summer time nice road side frontage large carpark ...... But needs play area

Friendly, courteous and responsive staff members. Nice ambience. Good food at good price. Parking may be tight at busy times.

After googling local eating establishments to Gloucestershire that offered a vegan burger we were very disappointed that the menu online is not the one currently available in the restaurant. As the vegan burger was not available another choice was chosen but sadly was not enjoyed. Asked to open a tab for food and drink but card machine didn’t work. Cost of an orange juice £3.50 absolutely daylight robbery. When food was served the scampi chips and peas did not fill the plate, again overpriced. Disappointed that the plates were not cleared away within a reasonable time given that although the restaurant was half full we were at our reserved table right in the middle of the thoroughfare and promptly moved them ourselves. Toilets need a freshen up and on exiting the toilets there was a sideboard/side table that looked like a dumping ground for glasses, plates, etc on their way back to the kitchen. Atmosphere was very much “a local pub for the regulars” shame really as it used to feel so welcoming friendly and homely. Sadly won’t be returning. On a side issue, cutlery could also do with replacing as some were dented and mis-sharpen.

Had a absolute great time , popped in to watch the football. Ordered with Shiloh, what a pleasure. Smiling, engaging and very polite. Diamond member of staff.

We had a 3 course Festive Lunch for 8 people. Everything was perfect! 10/10. Exceptional value, friendly staff and cosy atmosphere.

The food was as expected, hot and above average, tasted good. Service was good under the circumstances. The staff were polite and served as efficiently as they could for being sparse in number. So thank you. We enjoyed our meal and visit in general.

We booked a table , when we arrived the table was not there. But they did find us a table. They ran out of alot of food options,

I love this place, proper nice pub, nice atmosphere normally, nice food, good old fashioned local, of which I’m all for & very great full but avoid a 50% off mains night, BLACK FRIDAY, why?,its a nightmare, previously used tables covered in glasses & used plates, good but limited staff run off there feet, trying to do there best but no chance, we turned up at 6:30 ish as we are both working people & that was the earliest we could get there, obviously people in the know got in earlier & I don’t blame them as it is a good deal, (50% off mains), Jack the bar man was amazing under real pressure, hats off, we arrived on time, no clue as to how this works or where our table was, took ages to get a drink, then told at least one hour to wait for food at best after ordering, which was taking forever, eventually found table, went back to the bar to order food but to busy again to get served, so left the table and went home, spent £20 on taxis, got fish & chips from oxtalls fryer & stayed in, my message to the manager or management is, if you are going to do this promotion again, pay someone to greet at the doors, as a one off observation & advise where your customers table is, minimum wage obviously as your trying to make maximum profit, understandably, they could also clear the tables in between meeting customers at this unusually busy time & have enough people behind the bar. truly terrible experience, home by 7:30 with fish & chips, PLEASE, if you do this again, management, staff it properly, or you are going to put people off for life!!, as I said I love your ember inns pub, normally & I’m sure you’ve done well tonight but also put a lot of people off, management, WHY!!!, was it a surprise that you were going to be rammed???, anyway truly awful experience for us tonight but great pub normally, so please don’t stop what you normally do but manage the really busy nights properly, 👍❤️

Always have a nice meal when we come to the 'Teddy'. Often on the spur of the moment. Although we booked in the morning there was no need. Service was prompt, the food is hot, the wine was lovely and the staff were friendly. Thank you.

This is a great place to eat,drink and socialise. The staff do a great job and are a credit to the establishment. Will continue my visits to the teddy fat into the distant future.

ordered food the lady behind the counter she was very rude after I paid I waited 1 hour for my food to come cold the place looked very dirty dusty the the spoon and the knife was dirty they weren’t clean properly i felt sick after the food wouldn’t never go back there 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Surprisingly good food. Felt a little understaffed for the number of tables/people, but nice atmosphere so happy to wait.

Unusually only strong cask beers were available. Usually manage a good selection, but it is important to include a session beer.

Amazing food and atmosphere at the teddy. My husband and myself have eaten at the teddy so many times now and always been served up delicious dishes, this is our favourite place to go. The staff are so friendly especially Ella. Thankyou so much

Always need a torch to see the menu as so dark in there. Foods ok and staff pleasant enough. Prices don't break the bank. Have been a few times on a lunchtime and it's never overly busy.

First time coming here, was very pleased with the service. Was served by the lovely Cerys. She gave us a load of recommendations for food, we ordered the haddock and chips and the lasagne and it was absolutely lovely. Cerys was very helpful and always served us with a smile and made us feel very welcome, will happily come back again for the lovely food and service.

My experience here was lovely. The bartender Cerys recommended the tandoori chicken skewer which was absolutely lovely and she always had a smile and had a great service. I will gladly come back soon.

A lovely non-fussy local pub. Good for a drink or meal out. Good service and friendly staff. Deal with allergies seriously and have a number of options for you if you have an intolerance or allergy. Comfy and relaxed. Do a quiz on a Sunday evening. A credit to the Longlevens community.

Needs a refit urgently. Bit of a dump at the moment. Food and bar staff are good. Gents toilets are an absolute disgrace for a modern high end pub / restaurant.

Unfortunately I have a lot of allergies, the staff (especially Ellie) went above and beyond to make sure I didn't get ill. They cleaned down the kitchen to avoid cross contamination and even washed my cutlery separately. Never had such good service.

Nice pub but nothing for children

Popped in for a catch-up and a drink with a friend. We were debating eating too, and after speaking to the server, Ellie, we decided that we would. Ellie was so friendly and knowledgeable. We couldn't decide what to eat but after asking a few questions, she was able to suggest a few dishes which were perfect. I'm already planning on a return visit with some other friends. I've been singing the praises of this member of staff ever since. It's so rare to find someone so cheerful and helpful.

Nice pub with friendly and thoughtful staff. Good range of beers/lagers and other alcoholic drinks. The menus are very practical with the usual favourites. Their Sunday roast is very good, but book a table as it's very popular. There is a llarge carpark on site, but it really could do with some action dealing with potholes. The pub is wheelchair accessible, with a toilet for the disabled.

We chose this place for its location as we had to meet our daughter to take her dog. We had no idea what the food was like. We were very pleasantly surprised. My husband had gammon egg & chips & he is quite hard to please but he was very pleased. The ladies had chicken bacon and avocado wrap with chips. It was delicious. It was a hot day but sat in the shade outside so can’t comment on the decor. The staff were very pleasant. Great value. Dog friendly.

We went here for our boxing day meal. There was twelve of us. The food and service was brilliant. Lovely staff food was great. We went again with our granddaughters on 24th July 2024. The service was good but some of the food was awful. Our granddaughters chicken was very tough and the sausages I had were undercooked. We were going to go there for my wife's 74th birthday but will choose another venue.

We have been to the Teddy many times for meals and celebrations. Today's experience was not a good one. Our granddaughters chicken was very tough and I had to cut it for her which was difficult, she couldn't eat it all, I felt that the sausages I had were undercooked. When I complained to a member of staff she was fairly indifferent saying she will tell the kitchen staff. We intended to go here, with other family for my wife's birthday next month. We will probably go to another restaurant.

Found this place whilst visiting the area, we are welcomed by a friendly chap and served by Chloe. From walking in the door to leaving everything was excellent from service to food. Would highly recommend

The teddy has been my local for over 15 years but the service today was awful. I ordered a sparkling rose, and was given a flat drink. I asked if I could have a different one because there were no bubbles, and the barmaid said it was what I ordered. I had to show her the menu and order to say it was sparkling. The bar maid said it was what I ordered and there was nothing she could do about it, this is what I'd paid for. I asked for a different glass. She returned with another flat drink, I asked if I could have a glass from a different bottle? She said she was not allowed to open another bottle, and it was flat because there is no widget in wine glasses. I asked her to take the drink to the manager. The manager said they had no other bottles, but changed the drink for a regular prosecco. Finally we waited almost two hours between mains and desserts, the waitress had forgotten we had desserts on order. We felt unable to ask for them any earlier because of how I had been made to feel over the wine! Avoid if possible!
