King Fishery in Doncaster

Such a shame the food is quite nice but the customer service here is truly awful ....it really truly does let them down beyond belief.....we have on 2 occasions ordered food with a lady over the phone ( she doesnt write things down) and I even repeated over again what we ordered ...she replied ' we are 'really busy at the moment ' so your food will be there in around an hour' - to which we said ok that is great ....we placed our order 2 hours later still no food - we rang them ' oh sorry we are closed' we have no trace of your order - truly hopeless!! - they have lost a good customer here and as I work in customer services I will also make sure to tell at least 10 of my friends family & neighbours of my experience ....... what a shame.

This is by far the best fish and chips in the area, both the fish and the chips were excellent and a lot cheaper than a lot of the fish and chip shops in the area. If you live in the Scawthorpe, Woodlands and surrounding areas, please give this fish and chip shop a try. You will not be disappointed. They can definitely cook chips, which the other shops can't.

Waited around 2 hours for delivery. Had to complain to food hub who were told blatant lies about the order being on its way. By the time it arrived i was about to leave home and didnt have time to eat it. Quickly unwrapped the savaloy sausage to eat on my journey and it was stone cold, literally stone cold. Will never be ordering from here again.

Portions plentiful, clearly freshly cooked as was even hot when i arrived home. Really is worth the money
