King Lee Chinese Takeaway in Bolton

Well. We ordered our food Mixed starter , special curry and egg fried rice Total delivery was £27 I did expect some free prawn crackers which you get from every Chinese when you usually order over £15-20 so I phoned them and said (which I'm only just saying) my food was cold and we have no prawn crackers. They said we do not do Free prawn crackers so I suggested they sent some out when people spend £20 as a gesture. Oh no we don't do that and your food was hot when it left here. We can't do anything for you they said. Well very disappointing and will not be using there services ever again. How very rude. Avoid this place if possible and go golden harvest which is far superior. Be warned people all these want is to take your hard earned money off you for a extortionate price then when delivered don't care. Disgusting

This place used to be great. Not been for years. Either it changed owner of they just don't care any more. Very low quality food. Ingredients chosen for maximum profit. Feel terrible after.

Worst salt and pepper spare ribs I have ever had. Mains were good but starter of ribs was overcooked, dried out, chewy and virtually inedible. Saying that, the dog enjoyed them for his supper!

I'm surprised this takeaway hasn't had better reviews. We have used this place now every week for 5 years and never once have forgotten anything. The food is always great. Never greasy. The menu is extensive. I cannot fault anything about it.

Me and my misses go to this takeaway often but tonight we didn’t enjoy our food as the chips were rubbery and both dishes were too spicy which these dishes aren’t supposed to be.

We’ve used king lee for 3 years and every meal has been amazing. Always hot. Never greasy. Never anything missing from the order. I would highly recommend it.

Ordered over £60 worth of food from King Lee earlier this evening for a family night in. We all agreed every dish was delicious. My favourites were the salt and pepper spare ribs and the king prawns with ginger and spring onion. We also had chicken satay, charsui pork, Singapore vermicelli and more. All so tasty and hot. I will definitely order from here again.

Dodgiest Chinese food I've ever eaten , the dim sum was nice but the salt and pepper wings were vile and s+p wings are one of my favourite things to eat and the main meal was dodgy that I didn't want to risk eating it. The pork was definitely blast frozen before cooked and the chicken was rubbery as hell , the prawn was so strong that I ate one and contemplated going to the toilet to try and throw it back up hopefully I'm not Ill tomorrow , delivery is over priced at £6.50, so all together it cost me nearly £30

First time ordering from here and the last time rude staff, order arrived Earlier than expected but was lukewarm and tasteless

We placed an order at King Lee's and waited 20 minutes for it. The food was cold and the chips where burnt. I rang King Lee's and they said they would make our food again and deliver. When the food arrived it was hot the chips where still burnt. The rice was sticky not fried it was like pudding rice. The curry sauce was very thin and tasetless. I would not recommend the Chinese

salt & pepper ribs are outstanding just moved back to horwich and this is still the best Chinese Takeaway i defo recommend to order from here as i tryed the other Chinese Takeaway in the area and fell ill after when i have ordered its been fast and hot the food is fresh and a good size don"t thing i will order from anywhere else for my Chinese Takeaway

Good value and speedy service . Good range of traditional take away dishes. My favourite is S&P chips - nice and spicy

Staff are vile put phone down talk like crap food cold n expensic food do not waste your money !! Charge delivery and late hahaha Joke

No way can this takeaway cook much food from fresh, the menu is too vast.Lots of items deep fat fried from frozen, as they are so tough.The amount of salt they put in the food too is so excessive you wake up in night very thirsty.Cheap cuts of meats.Been a few times to be honest because it is one of the better ones in the area(Can't believe that)Love Chinese food but still looking for a quality takeaway.

Nos han mudado a la zona hace 6 meses y he probado cada China alrededor literalmente & King Lee es de lejos el mejor.Las costillas son absolutamente deliciosa, no la mierda frito duro se sirven en otros sitios. Es bastante caro, pero vale la pena, ya que creo que pagas lo que obtienes:)El único inconveniente para mí es que no tienes pan de gambas gratis. . Incluso si pasado más de £20 o £30! Así podremos literalmente costo para que AYE, jajaja! ! !Sin duda recomiendo

Having recently relocated to the area my husband and I were a little apprehensive about choosing a local Chinese take away for excitable Friday evenings. King Lee was recommended to us on Just Eat and we have been very impressed.
