King shawarma in Tameside

Fire scrans here had shawarma pizza burgers all on point. The staff are mint food always fresh that day my favorite takeaway in Denton.

The kebab was lovely, kinda like Ciabatta bread so fresh and the chicken and salad was lovely I'll be back.

Really bad food cold meats and dry no taste I had lamb and chicken didn’t know the difference bread wasn’t even warmed up, and donner meat was greasy and put onto chips which made them the same. Glad I tried it never again.shame nice premises shame can’t serve good food

Out of all the other 'shawarma' speciality kebab shops in Tameside, this is by far the best. I called in for a Chicken Shawarma on a freshly baked samoon bread (straight from the oven) and it was absolutely delicious. The portion size for £5 was fairly decent and the choice of the salad was good. In terms of flavour, there was not much difference between here and Leve Bakery for the same but this place is much closer to home. Whilst I was waiting for my kebab, the shop owners were cleaning all the equipment and it was noticeable that they were not skipping any corners whilst cleaning. Overall, a damn good decent kebab for a cheap price!

We’ve had food from here a few times but tonight we got it delivered and it’s always been great very tasty, great portions, hot and great value for money never had any issues so from my experience I would definitely recommend King Shawarma.

Always get order wrong even when ordered inside the shop because they never listen when you ring somehow still get the order wrong useless avoid people.

Freshly made and lovely falafel wrap

Ordered via Uber which i later found has less options than on the website where a shish kebab is available. I ordered the chicken & lamb shawarma sandwich with samoon bread. It was soft & larger than expected. Medium chips is more than enough for one. A good selection of salad however i would have liked more options for a sauce, such as garlic mayo, rather than just yogurt or chilli sauce (which had a bit of a kick to it). Garlic nan bread would also be a good addition. The sandwich had plenty of filling, however they cut back on the lamb compared to the chicken. Out of the two i preferred the chicken. Delivery was 30 minutes from first ordering at 7pm. Good value overall. (Edit) I have since tried a lamb shish kebab on a nan but found the lamb to be tough / chewy & wasn't keen on the lemon flavouring. The King's Special pizza with chicken shawarma is good value tho. I just placed an order for a Mixed Shawarma (Meal for Two) , paid and after 1 min it was cancelled due to being too far. I’m 3 miles away , 11 minutes on the navi and I paid the delivery fee as well , not fair as I enjoy the food from here. PS: Postcode is M11 not M34

For me, the whole point in a shawarma is the juicy charred grilled meats and beautiful salad options. Just ordered and they've ignored the salad options i.e. chillis, pickles, etc and just sent out a bog standard salad, lettuce, tomato's etc. Shame as the meat was nice. Hope the owners see this and address it as it a nice place if they get your order right.

Superb establishment. Anybody marking this place down in due to a late delivery or a “bland kebab” is either petty a downright liar. You won’t be disappointed trust me 👍

Honestly banging fayter is next level rare to get this. Sharawma was decent with salad portions being generous and chicken stripes was nice aswell which I got on the side overall I was pleasantly surprised. Hidden Gem 👌

I have drove past the shop a few times and thought it looked nice and well presented, so I ordered of just eat and was really shocked how well priced the food is so I got a lamb and chicken shawarma with chilli sauce and with a kinder milkshake and a can of coke which they missed out but I spoke to them and they have sorted it out with no issues at all and was really apologetic but mistakes happen. The delivery was really fast in fact 40 minutes earlier than predicted by just eat. overall it was really nice and enjoyable would 100% go back and would recommend going here. Keep it up!

Fresh nan bread, tasty shawarma and great choice of salad the guys are sound aswell

The kebab (from what I could tell) tasted ok, but was a cold, soggy mess. I'd asked for the kebab and bread to be kept separate, to avoid this, which was ignored. Worst of all: the chips! For something so basic as chips, they were semi-cooked and dripping with cooking oil - not just a little bit, literally pools of oil. I had to air fry them myself after they arrived and tried to get the excess off with kitchen paper - none of this worked, they were inedible, and the kebab was stone cold, so it all went in the bin. Complete waste of time and money. Be better.

Tasteless, the lamb was burnt and tasted like gristle, the chicken burger was not a fillet but chucks of chicken put together and not very flavourful. Didn't enjoy won't be going again. 😕

Disappointed 😞 Their website was accepting orders and took payment but the restaurant was closed. We were really looking forward to trying their food as heard its all fresh made to order. Hopefully we can resolve the issue tomorrow when it's open and then update the review.

Honestly incredible mixed shwarma, so good

They got the name right because this place is definitely the king of shawama's! About my 10th time I've come here and always get the chicken shawama wrap and it's been mega everytime.. they make the bread fresh in front of you then cut the chicken and then give you a shock of a wide range of salad and sauces to go on it including houmous and only charge you £3.50 for it! The lads in there are sound too, always friendly. Highly recommended.

Ordered twice from here now. First time was okay and meat is nice but bread was chewy and hard - sandwich bread and the naan. Ordered with salad and didn’t get any so ended up with a massive tray of meat and I just cut my own salad up. Second time, I ordered with salad and no chilli or pickle but given both chilli and pickle. I assume they didn’t bother reading the order and gave me a bog standard order. It was too spicy for me to finish which is a shame. Naan bread stayed soft whilst warm and then went rock solid after, as though it were microwaved. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again but can give good rating for quick delivery and affordability.

Only place with Shwarma. Nice clean place and friendly staff. Fresh salad and pizza toppings. I would recommend eating from here if you’re nearby.

I have been here previously and food was great... but I got in today and the staff was rude I asked if they was a small mixed box with salad I could get I was told no as I had to buy the box for 2people (I did this last time and half my food was waisted because i cudnt eat it all) so I leave and I came back and explained I don't want to waist my food and money elapse its not going to get ate ... so he said get the wrap I told them I can't because I can't eat bread then I was told ell thst is your problem and the laughed at me how rude they shud b a menu to cater for all and all he had to do was not gov me the bread but he wudnt do that am dissapointedin the customer service

Tried here for the 1st time mixed shawarma is a little expensive they don't it just for person so if you want a mixed shawarma you have to get the meal for 2 even if you're eating on your own please please please get this sorted all you have to do is do the mixed shawarma for 1 person, even though I did manage to eat the meal for 2 on my own

Had a lamb and chicken shawarma, meat was gorgeous and fresh every day, breads were fresh (samoon and nan), great salad selection. Definitely my new regular
