Really lovely and friendly staff; lizzie and matt were very welcoming. Explained what drinks they had and made us very wonderful and tasty drinks for very reasonable prices. Just a very friendly place that goes out of it way to give fantastic service. You will not regret coming here like ourselves who had not been here before as we are new to the local area. Hope you try it yourselves!

I have written reviews before for TaT when at the last location, and when they moved into the new location,we were first customer back in July this year. So Friday of this week was my second visit, and now really upto steam, and on the tracks for a new year. In prevysite,I loved the extremely large breakfast choice. Margot in new place, has reduced the range, quality is just as good, but less complicated and labour intensive,as it has to trade in today's climate. So we went for lunch... And as to be expected everything was top notch. Margot has years of catering experience and thinks up new ways to present her food. I had macaroni cheese, with topping of melted brie..served with pigs in blankets, slaw and salad. Two others had panini type pizza, and minced beef pie...all with the Margot twist. I have not made comment about the cakes....all made in the kitchen, all delicious and we always come away with cake for later. Thankfully I live about 159+ miles away, otherwise I would be a more regular visitor, and would need to lose more weight than now. I really like and rate TaT.

What a great place! Perfect location to be able to walk in to town. They have parking and the breakfast was excellent.

The strong reviews shaped my decision to try this place for lunch - the experience did not disappoint. It's a genuinely great place for a traditional Sunday roast. A kid friendly atmosphere in a characterful pub with warm / friendly staff serving great food. It made the experience even more enjoyable. The Sunday dinner is fantastic value for money, with very generous helpings, cooked and prepared to a high standard. I had the beef which was succulent and tender, the jumbo Yorkshire pudding was a tasty challenge but everything was spot on. The pigs in blankets were lovely too but I really struggled to eat them after filling up with my main (something I normally wouldn't struggle with but there was so much food). When I arrived at 2pm the pub was full and I was offered the chance to use a standing table but declined, said thank you and left. I nearly drove away but the manager ran after me and said she would make room for me in the corner of the dining area. She was so warm and lovely - it's easy to tell that she's a natural dealing with customers in a friendly way. I'm glad they made room for me. I will definitely come here again.

I was quite late on a cold Sunday afternoon. We were able to pop in for a quick bite to eat. The service was great and the decor and atmosphere was excellent. The sausage rolls with caramelised onion and side salad was one of the best I've had dor a while. My latte was flavourful as was my friend's pot of tea. I will go again as soon as I'm in the area.
