Fabulous coffee stop (but much more available) for a serious cyclist seeking sustenance. Excellent oat flat white with a disgracefully calorific salted caramel brownie. Nearly put off as it's in the grounds of the Little Kingshill Baptist Church, but no one tried to evangelise me. Busy but peaceful at the same time. Will go out of my way to stop off here again. Friendly staff, lovely location. Look for the sign on the road, otherwise you'll miss it, and that would be a shame. Highly recommended!

The owner Silvio is a fantastic host. First rate customer service from him and his staff. The coffee, food, pasteries and products are delicious and the environment is friendly and laided back. Well worth a visit before work and throughout the day!

Little Kingshill now has a brilliant village shop/cafe open every day from 7 am on weekdays, 8 am weekends. The coffee is superb (takeaway and drink in). Tables inside and out (a few under cover outside too). Easy to miss since it's housed in the church hall - look out for the sign on the pavement on Windsor Lane (just opposite the village common/playground). Pop in and you're in for a lovely surprise - an excellent selection of foodie treats, lovely bread, fresh fruit and veg and a small but beautifully-formed Italian deli section - think fresh pesto, bresaola, burrata to go with the pasta and gnocchi. There are Portuguese custard tarts to die for and lovely toasted sarnies for lunch. Silvio has a long tradition of brewing premium coffee at his coffee shops in London and knows what he's doing - service is always friendly and welcoming, all the produce is great. They even do ice cream for dogs, newspapers and fresh flowers, so there really is something for everyone. Worth a detour.

Consistently our favourite night out anywhere. Drop at No11 is an absolute treat. James who runs the place is a superb host with an encyclopaedic knowledge of wine. The drink itself is first class and is always accompanied by exceptional cheese and wine. We pay this bar a visit every time we can get a babysitter. It’s absolutely our ‘happy place’ Would give more than 5 stars if we could.

30 High StreetHad a wonderful Sunday lunch here. The food was absolutely excellent - although very limited for me as a vegan. But staff were really accommodating and couldn’t be more helpful. And it’s the staff that really are the stars here. We chatted to one young man who was incredibly helpful and also surprisingly knowledgeable about the Margaret Rutherford Miss Marple films (some of which were filmed here!) and he couldn’t have been nicer. Then there was Kate who waited our table. Hands down the best member of waiting staff I’ve ever experienced - anywhere. Helpful without being overbearing. Genuinely friendly. And able to anticipate our needs without us asking. Setting, ambience, food and staff: all excellent. We WILL be back.

104 Sycamore Road, Amersham HP6 5EN EnglandA different time, a different day but always assured of delicious flavours from quality ingredients. Today's special delight was a fig and pistachio tart that frankly tastes even better than it looks, and it looks great. Continuity is always a sign of a good eatery but when you appreciate the chef is creating recipes from love, rest assured you are in food nirvana. Having dined here since it opened I am always amazed at how they maintain and even improve on quality and taste. If in any doubt, try their duck confit sandwich where even the rolls are made in-house. You will leave with a radiant smile on your face. Just had dinner here again; Raclette Arancini followed by Duck in cherry sauce and gratin dauphinoise. I can only describe this as an award winning meal. It will have your taste buds dancing for a week. The truffle arancini are still excellent as is the burger with green pepper sauce.
