I contacted the kingsway farm in November as our booking for Xmas Dinner was cancelled and they managed to fit a family of four in on Xmas day at short notice then we went and had a lovely 3 course meal all very delicious food service was amazing aswell couldn't eat the pudding and they gave it to us a a takeaway box to take home

Has a family meal here for our Christmas lunch. Food was amazing. The staff are very friendly and could not do enough to make sure we were happy. Would definitely highly recommend. Thank you for making our Christmas day so special

Staff went above and beyond to cater for all dietary needs. Scott from the kitchen was very keen to help and could not have done more.

Cannot state enough how lovely this place is. Especially after a very long and stressful day. Special thanks to Michael, who was happy to engage with myself and my wife about not just the food but the usual stream of nonsense that leaves my mouth.

Very helpful staff and excellent customer service. The carvery was ok but the beef was very tough and not nice. We mentioned it to Michael,(staff member) who was excellent and gave us a free cake. He did say that several people had mentioned about the beef being tough. The carvery is ok. Good value. Sprouts could do with not being so well cooked.

On entering the front door we were greeted by a very smiley female member of staff who assisted us swiftly to our table. Visiting for a birthday lunch and opted for the Carvery for the very first time and i can not fault how the staff presented themselves behind the counter and the lay out of the food itself was just fabulous. We enjoyed our food very much and have regretted not trying this before but can assure you we will be back for more lunch treats in the future. My only concern was the table top and the being a little sticky but not enough to complain.

I loved this restaurant, the kids and family area is great, the kids can have fun with multiple games there. The food was great and it was warm and pretty comfortable in the restaurant, the staff were very attentive, Andrew gave us some ideas so the kids could be more entertained. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

This Saturday 15/12 I was visiting Dundee on the recommendation of some friends and we decided to go to Kingsway farm for the famous Carvery. The restaurant was really full, yet we received a great service, the staff looked after us wonderfully, especially Andrew, the food was excellent and I have no words to describe the desserts, they were really amazing, I really enjoyed this restaurant, I highly recommend it, if you go to Dundee it is certainly a place to visit and have a good meal.

We had an issue with the beef but the staff were very attentive and easily resolved things. All in all, it was still a wonderful time and it's good value for what you get. Big thanks to Michael for making sure that everything was ok. We ended up with a generous portion of free cake.

If I could rate this a 0 i honestly would! We arrived at 5.45 ordered drinks at 6 never arrived till 6.50! There was a large group of us who pre booked our meals etc but still all came out at different times and some were missing. Nobody came over to remove the plates of our starters so we had to remove these ourself to another table to be able to have room for our mains. No one came over to offer assistance or ask if the meals were ok. We also had a vegetarian whose pie was left right beside the carvery! We also had another vegetarian who didn’t receive their pie until the table all finished their meal and we were leaving so they had to take the pie home!!!!!!! Ridiculous Also had to ask for our puddings to come out. Staff also knocked over juice. Overall food was rubbish pies were hard, meat wasn’t great, pigs in blankets undercooked. Staff at the bar were rude when one of us went to collect the drinks because it was taking that long to come. So they think it’s acceptable to make a cheeky comment and yes we heard it!!! When we also have to que for the carvery and have to wait ages is also A no from me!!!! No one really knew what they were doing, if these issues didn’t happen there wouldn’t be any complaints but as we booked a family Christmas meal we would expect to eat our meals together In the end we did get money off our bill but did have to ask for this as the overall experience was a 0. Do better next time!

Came for lunch today and was served by Michael. Absolute gentleman, so polite and attentive. Service was great as was the food. Definitely recommend.

Delicious food and huge portions! Michael was incredibly generous with his meaty offerings, and everything was succulent and tender and tantalising to the tastebuds. Stellar gravy too.

Don’t buy from here got a delivery and came stale cold and nothing was cooked waited an hour on food coming and couldn’t even eat it waste of money the mash potatoes where rock solid was just disgusting

Overdue a carvery so popped in for lunch. Food was excellent, staff were polite and friendly (especially Michael) and restaurant was clean and warm. Thoroughly recommended.

It took a long time for the food to leave the place, with the eta constantly changing. However, the food was amazing, and lovely quantity, so the wait was worth it.

This Beefeater should be avoided if at all possible. En route to Aviemore we called in here for lunch. It was a Monday lunchtime. The "welcome" podium was deserted as was the bar so we found a table to sit at & looked for ANY staff. An officious man appeared & was most annoyed we'd sat down without speaking to him first. When I pointed out he was nowhere around when we arrived he said we should have waited by the door. I told him we had & his response was "wait longer"!! A really nice guy then appeared to serve at the bar. We were tired so ordered a drink each, used the facilities & left without eating. Leaving 2 other couples in the whole place. Cold, unfriendly & definitely to be avoided

Ordered extra pigs in blankets and yorkshire pudding as I love a yorkie! However realised that not only did I not receive the extras I paid for - but not even the pig in blanket and yorkie that comes as standard before extras. :(

Went for a Sunday Breakfeast with my wife today and once seated we ordered the breakfast and paid at the bar.So we went to choose our buffet breakfast to be told that they had no black pudding,or square sausage?so all we had left to choose was link sausage along with bacon and egg along with a couple of sides(beans and mushrooms.When the link sausage came through fresh from the kitchen they were white and undercooked.When challenged ,everybody that was waiting was assured they were cooked by North the staff member that was serving.They took them away again and eventually brought back as white as ever,so a member of staff came through with temperature device and tested the sausages and found that they were not cooked and look warm.Meantime my wife had ordered a toasted roll with egg and sausage,and when it arrived with the undercooked sausages along with a plain untoasted roll that should have had cheese on it that was missing,how can this company get away with ignoring health and hygiene,they should be ashamed.Do not go to this place as it is a health hazard.Just so you know ,there was a lot of people other than ourselves queuing for refunds.Avoid this place like the good plague and thanks for ruining our Sunday morning.

This was not the best of visits - three adults and a 3 year old. Our table was dirty, and so were the menus - sticky. We were told to leave these on the window sill, (having had to use them to choose our food. The table never did get cleaned. Our order had missing/wrong/stale items - our 3 year old grandson’s carrot sticks were dried out and curled up, his corn on the cob didn’t arrive and he was brought a cider instead of the fruit carton ordered. The corn on the cob came later after we pointed out it was missing, and the drink error was corrected. Food was not great, and service virtually non-existent. It was a Sunday, and the self-service Carvery was on the go, so in theory service should have been better, given the majority were helping themselves. The play area was the best thing on this visit.

My family 13 adults and 4 children visited on Sunday 24th November 2024 something we do every November. Once we all decided what we were having to eat I then went to order. The assistant Lucy was very efficient, so helpful and very cheerful. We placed the order which included drinks which was brought to our table quickly after ordering. The carvery which is always popular was again chosen by the majority of us with the exception of an "all day brekfast" and a kids "pasta a veg ". No complaints , food was excellent. It was very busy which added to the pleasant atmosphere with children enjoying the play area added to which was a beautiful Christmas tree. A lovely warm festive atmosphere. The staff were all very pleasant and efficient and must be congratulated. All in all a most enjoyable meal drinks and pleasant atmosphere. Thank you. ISOBEL WHITE

Food only warm ,fish super looked like it had been deep fried 3 times, asked for well done steak very very dry and looked like it had been microwaved before fried, calvary didn't have any gammon,roast beef dried outthuck skin on gravy

I went with my friend for carvery on a Friday and was absolutely divine! Staff was very kind, specially Andrew Stewart, he showed us our table and was very attentive. The food was unbelievable! I don't know if this happens in all carvery places but you choose your plate and help yourself. It was amazing! We finished our dinner with the toffee cake. I felt in heaven with that cake! For sure we'll come back!!😁😁

Kingsway farm Dundee I had a very good impression of this restaurant, I came on holiday to Dundee and it was recommended to me so I went and had the famous Carvery, it was great. The prices are good and the restaurant staff were lovely especially Andrew who gave us a very nice service and even commented a few words in my language. Totally recommend this place.

This site is barbaric. It's filling and pretty cheap for Scotland. Fast and very professional waiters. At least Andrew was what he was when we went.

3 slivers of meat packed into a box with all the veg it was like mush the burger and fries were freezing not good at all really poor

Recently had a small baby shower here and everything went so smoothly - Michael was our server and he was super nice and helpful, all the food came around the same time and we were allowed to decorate our table with some small decorations. Very happy with the experience

Food really improved, server Michael really pleasant guy. Kids play area super cold though. Had to ask them to pop heating on.

Great food at reasonable prices Warm welcoming staff in all departments. Nice and cosy atmosphere. It was busy, and it took a little time to be served, however my party all had a good time. Definitely would visit again.

Food came out at different times, between a table of 4. 3 out of 4 had their food. I had enough time to go outside and vape before my food eventually arrived only to be missing the onion rings from my meal. I love that they reply with an email address and then don't reply to email. Is that just to look like they are interested in what customers have to say??

Ordered a gluten free meal, it was served with chips which are not gluten free. The meal was taken away, chips replaced with a baked potato which was ice cold. Not comfortable sending the meal back for the second time and waiting yet again for a replacement.

Place is a shadow of what it used to be, tables and chairs broken, a pathetic attempt at a childrens play area with cash grab machines instead of toys, always understaffed and annoying waits to be served at the bar (getting checked in at an airport is quicker), cakes have no creativity and no longer change from week to week, bar itself is sticky and a lot of ice cream and items on the main menu out of stock due to 'supply issues', carpets are dated and dirty, draught drinks are flat and no decent choice of lagers, i could go on but i would be here all day, im afraid this is just another chain that only cares about making money and not the guest experience, the food was below average, had better food in a wetherspoons at half the price, avoid

Michael was fabulous and so lovely! Interacted with our wee one as well, which is always fab! And the food was delicious, as always!!

Macaroni was like over cooked micro meal and garlic bread was burnt. Always hit or miss with this place. Same happened last time, complained and they brought me another portion of the same thing. Definitely won't be back.

First time ordering online could not fault food or delivery . just unfortunately I ordered the carvery and cake and did not get my cake. but would not put me off from ordering again 👌

Excellent meal and even better desert

Went for breakfast this morning and was so disappointed the bacon was so undercooked and fatty, the black pudding was like cardboard the sausages were unedable the haggis stuck to the roof of my mouth and you no longer get jam for your toast 😑 we have ate there many times and never had a bad experience until today my husband left most of his food it will be a long time before we return

pais for extra yorkie and pigs in blankets just to get no pigs in blankets at all. did not replace with anthing else extra if they had run out. very poor. any other resturaunt would have at least called to offer alternitive.

Ordered carvery and the portion sizes were very generous. All tasty and highly recommend.

Food bit of a letdown found a couple of hairs in the mash bit cold as well. Service was friendly and welcoming but there facilities and decor could so with an upgrade as well some of the play items for the kids were cracked in places very unsafe. Can't fault the staff they were lovely just the actual place and food needed to be better.

It was our first time on that restaurant for breakfast. Food was okay, we choose vegetarian option on the buffet, but there was half of the things was not in there as told in menu you can get . We had to wait quite long time

We both had a small carvery. All the food was delicious, but we'd have preferred it to be a bit hotter. We had to wait a while at the counter to buy our drinks & our carvery tickets.

Not a great place. Ordered cheese burger and it was too dry and tasteless. Staff seemed to be arrogant and unwelcoming. Wouldn’t spend my money there anymore.

Food was horrendous did not taste anything like a roast dinner the gammon was good same with Yorkshire pudding the broccoli was watery mush carrots were ok tiny bit of mash cauliflower was hiding under so made it look loads but only small spoon

We had a family meal booked for last Sunday, the food was great. The carvery was excellent value. Great choice of vegetables. It was very child friendly. We were served by George who made us all feel welcome throughout the visit. Would highly recommend. Will look forward to our next visit.

It was our great nieces 4th birthday and all our meals were good and the customer service we received especially from the extremely helpful member of staff named Lucy who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Lovely Sunday carvery with a good selection of food at a great price. Served by Michael who was very helpful and friendly, as were the other staff.

We came in for some lunch after our daughters football match. The food was great, the service was great, Michael was nice and chatty and had a bit of banter with us too. I couldn't fault anything. I had the carvery which was great 😋. The children had the chocolate brownie Sundays and thought they were great.
