Fantastic meal with a variety of really beautiful, tasty and well executed dishes. Every dish was so delicious and Sunitha visited the table to share her passion for the food which was so evident. Strongly recommend you visit and order the Kira special option where dishes chosen for you. So much food and every dish better than the last.

Having been here several times since it first opened we were expecting a treat . The service was friendly and thorough but although we ordered all our items in one go they arrived in a very random order and with the side dishes delivered at the end after all the rest had been consumed . All dishes were pleasant in their own way but seemed to lack any theme or connection or coherence . Many were a long way off any Indian heritage and of indeterminate parentage . Not so much Bombay to Delhi more Wilmslow to Washington via a wine bar in Chelsea . Unchallenging food and dare I say erring towards the bland . Something here has been lost . They say a camel is a horse designed by a committee . This menu is a camel . !Perhaps a chef has been lost and replaced by an accountant . For certain we have lost a Tiger and found a Dromedary and we left with the hump .

the atmosphere and food was amazing, and Sunitha was a fantastic host. staff were friendly and service was generally prompt. only small issue, we felt that some of the younger staff didn't really know much about the menu

KIRA is always a place full of surprises. They always give it a great twist and play around with dishes creatively. Food that I never really liked personally, KIRA can always do their magic and turned it in such delicious dishes. Things I love KIRA the most is that I can always be rest assured with their quality and taste, while unexpectedly, they actually uses natural and healthy ingredients behind the scenes. And this is all thanks to the lovely chef Sunitha, for explaining every of her dishes, while pairing it with particular drinks. If you want to try somewhere local with amazing food, I would highly recommend KIRA, top atmosphere, services and food is what you would get. I am normally a person who take some sort of photos prior finishing the dishes, but this mission has always been a huge fail every time when I am in KIRA due to my eager to get them in my belly.

Exceptional food and service in a beautiful setting. So much flavour, and we loved trying new and unusual dishes. We can't wait to return to try more.

We dine regularly at Kira and always enjoy our night out, We love the way Sunitha keeps the dining event, interesting and different every time we go, different menus, wines, and eating experiences, we absolutely love it there, food is delicious and we always feel like family as Sunitha and the team make us feel so welcome. If you want run of the mill fast boring food, go to a mainstream diner, if you want a real delicious eating experience and a wonderful night out then Kira is a 5* choice. So lucky to live in nearby village but absolutely worth the journey if you live a bit further away from Bollington!

Very pleasant evening, had the taste of Kira multiple taster course, many different food dishes. The recommended Spanish red was amazing so we didn’t stop at one. Arrived at 7 and didn’t leave until 11.00 perfect evening for us

Fabulous Food , Great service by the front of house team. The new winter menu is sensational, flavoured outstandingly with festive spice. We can't wait to book our Christmas do with work and family .

Amazing night here again, the seasonal menu was delicious, never fails to surprise with the layers of flavours.. absolutely loved it

An evening of highs and lows. Some of the food, particularly the veg/vegan choices were inspiring. The beetroot, paneer and lentil dishes were lovely. I really enjoyed the chicken and saag, but the beef and cod cheeks were underwhelming. Although I appreciate the ‘served when it’s ready’ policy we ended up being there from 7.15 until 10pm. Drinks took an age to order and we asked for the bill three times. We were going to order desert but gave up waiting. Some of the dishes arrived cold… which was a little annoying when we sat looking at them going cold on the counter. One of our orders was forgotten, so the 12.5% service banged on and the delays was a little presumptuous, but the overall quality of the food was very good so we paid. It was a traditionally busy night of the week so the service felt under-staffed. Can’t fault Sunitha the chef for her hospitality and inspired menu ideas; just feel she needs a bit more support to pull it off. Will visit again and would recommend as the dishes that work are wonderful

Poor service, no atmosphere, and ok overpriced food. Sat at a table with the noise of an extractor or something as the only noise in the place. Moody young person with limited menu knowledge took our order then disappeared. Could see food ready. Didnt ask if we wanted more drinks. Literally no where to be seen! The food is OK but really over priced and tiny portions. Rice was overcooked and my friends meal wasn’t edible. Gave it another go. Won’t make that mistake again!

The cuisine is Indian which we are not experts in but were well advised by a very pleasant young man, Mathew Plant. The food was very nice, not too spicy hot, Mathew advised us to which dishes to choose. The place lacked atmosphere but we were dining at 6.30 on a Wednesday so probably not representative of weekends. We thought it was value for money and happily paid the 12.5% service charge as Mathew had been so pleasant and knowledgeable. The only advice I would give is that plates need to be warm not stone cold, apart from that a very enjoyable evening.

The owner Sunitha gives a lovely warm welcome to this lovely restaurant. lovely surroundings and extremely friendly staff, open kitchen allows you to see the chefs at work creating their fabulous dishes. The food was amazing, so tasty and light on your stomach. We tried lots of dishes from the menu, presentation was lovely . I definitely recommend this restaurant. We drove 50 minutes to get here and will definitely be coming back 😁

New £20 three course menu 😋 usual high standard of cuisine, the flavours were incredible. We had two starters and a main each. It was a substantial meal that didn’t require a dessert.

Sunitha is a food wizard. A genius in the kitchen. Her team are excellent too. The food is sublime and I can't wait to go again. Great work guys. Do yourselves a favour and make a trip there. X
