Popped in after shopping to get lunch. Friendly staff Nice sausage and tomato, good fried bread. Cold drink was a vit tepid and bacon was a bit hard and not that nice. Customers and one staff member expressing some very not PC comments on schools. One announced I learned nothing at school! Another said he is a nice type of gay man. Hmm

Go here very occasionally when I have my van serviced nearby. Staff and food excellent as usual, with plenty of choice not just breakfasts, including various coffee options.

Very friendly staff and welcoming. I ordered a bacon sarnie and a tin, as it’s mid C19 I chose to sit outside, to.d staff it was for me to have n my taxi journey which was due soon. Sarnie arrived after 21 minutes thirsty seconds before the taxi so ate my very nice sandwich at home! Might try the place out to see what the sit down food is like

Spend my Christmas Day and dinner at the half crown this year. I’ve been a regular customer for 20 years and this was the first time. I can honestly say the food was excellent, the value for money and service was exceptional. Tess and her team worked tirelessly for the whole day. It was a lovely day and I would recommend anyone to try Christmas or any other day at The Half Crown.

12 Furtherwick RoadThey very kindly put on an afternoon tea for my family at very short notice I couldn't fault the staff,service or food. Nothing was too much trouble,they looked after us all and made it extra special for my granddaughters who loved it. Thank you
