Kofi & Co in Leeds

This spot is amazing for a nice breakfast everytime it is amazing I recommend the Nutella French toast if it’s still there I hope so I highly recommended it

I’d like to start by saying the food is really good across both venues! But the service in Roundhay isn’t great. In the Wetherby cafe, I found there was a really nice atmosphere and the staff were brilliant! But in Roundhay, they push to serve you before you’re ready. And as soon as you’ve finished the food, they put the bill down without even asking if you’d like anything else…and this has happened on multiple occasions! I understand that the cafe gets busy, but you should maybe manage expectations with the customers queuing instead of forcing people out the door before they’re ready to leave. It’s put me off going back to Roundhay despite really enjoying the food!

I went for lunch with my friend today to the Wetherby Kofi, and was so impressed with the welcome we had and with the delicious food. We were served by Debbie, who was so warm and friendly - she explained all the specials to us and really made sure we felt at home. The food was fab - I had the special haddock fish cake, which was a work of art in itself, served on a bed of pea and mint purée with a delicious salad, and topped with a perfectly poached egg. My friend had a halloumi club sandwich, which she really enjoyed too. There were some amazing-sounding smoothie, which I would love to try on another visit. Even though it was a busy time, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning to lovely Kofi. Thank you!

Called in for the second time when visiting Wetherby. Great coffee and very quick service. Impressed by a quick wipe of our table as we sat down as well.

My partner and I went to Wetherby Kofi last Tuesday. The food and coffee was outstanding. The atmosphere is calm and cosy with very friendly staff, inparticular our waitress, I believe her name was Marie, maybe Marie who was very attentive, proffesional but friendly with it. We will be back this week. I strongly recommend this place.

My regular ‘coffee ‘ spot. Good coffee - excellent and friendly service . Kofi has a varied menu - and a display of great cakes . Plenty of seating inside ( first floor too ) and outside seating in the Market Square - with overheat heating when needed. Popular and welcoming place .

Came here rather by accident as our original plans fell through. A nice imaginative menu (as long as you like eggs, limited if you don’t). Happy prompt service despite being absolutely packed. I made the wrong choice in the courgette and sweetcorn fritters, but that was very much my mistake. Other members of the party really enjoyed their meals. Loved the strawberry fizz mocktail. All in all you saved a disappointing morning. Thank you

This place was amazing. It’s so cosy and has a great range of both food and drink options. I had the avocado on toast with feta which did not disappoint and an iced coffee. The service was friendly, excellent and quick. I am very much looking forward to my next visit. I would highly recommend.

I was introduced to Kofi & Co on Street Lane by a friend who said she liked to support local business. I discovered what I would have travelled many miles for - the Kofi Pancake Stack, part of the Brunch Club Menu, (All American) - scrambled eggs, maple syrup, smoked back bacon, etc. And there is a vegetarian option. The dish is a work of art. It tastes as good as it looks. Dear Kofi & Co I'm having trouble getting to the rest of the menu. But I promise, I'll get through it.

The place is lovely. However for breakfast I'm not so sure. We had eggs benedict. I had truffle mushrooms on mine and there was definitly no truffle. My breakfast was bland and the hollandaise sauce was not at all great. Not to mention both my eggs and partners were hard and not runny like poached egg should be. My smoothie was really warm which put me off. The music was very modern to the point I didn't know if I had sat down for breakfast in a bar for drinks instead. (Definitly not breakfast music)! Tbh maby id go there for a drink in the afternoon but certainly not breakfast...(disappointing)

Wonderful customer service and beautiful family atmosphere my little boy loved it too! Will definitely be going again soon. And was told everything is halal!

It was a shame after we’d heard great things. It’s an absolute rip off - hence why there’s on one street lane and Wetherby. It’s like a cafe for people to be seen there as opposed to going for some quality food. The portion size was small, I had had poached eggs seeping uncooked egg whites. I would 100 recommend anywhere else in the area unless you take out a bank loan.

Gorgeous spot for brekkie brunch or lunch. Had a fabulous hash followed by Josh’s recommendation of the banana bread and wow it did not disappoint! Sooo gorgeous. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Josh was fab and looked after us very well.

Lovely setting with a vibrant atmosphere, food also unreal. They had lots of gluten free options. I went for the avocado toast with poached egg and it was cooked to perfection. I would definitely return here, it was just somewhere we stumbled across and so glad we did!

Been on a couple of occasions…. Excellent, friendly staff and buzzy fun atmosphere…. Would love to for an evening experience there too!!!

Amazing food - lots of choice without being overwhelming, light bites to mains ( American Pancakes & Kofi Benedict top of my faves!) Welcoming, friendly & happy staff, who clearly love the food too I’d recommend to anyone looking for somewhere that’s relaxing and equally perfect for groups or a solo coffee, cake and book!

Travelling back home on the A1 we headed into Wetherby for a lunch stop. One pub wasn’t serving food, another just stopped serving food and just when we were about to give up we found Kofi. Tasty food, good service and lovely staff…we’ll be back!

Ordered smashed advocado and my partner ordered poached eggs on toast . Was extremely disappointed . The advocado was bitter and had a lot of brown within it . The poached eggs was 2 eggs on 1 slice of white toast no offer of whole meal or granary on either . I sent the advocado back and asked for a replacement of toast which came quite quick . The cappuccino did not have chocolate on . Overall a very disappointing experience and felt it was overpriced for the portion size.i was not charged for the replacement toast. Also the plate with the poached eggs had a large chip out of it and should be thrown away I have ran my own coffee shop in the past and now work in a very popular tea rooms and always use independent coffee shops and was very disappointed. I understand the pressures of a small business but felt the pricing was high for the quality that was served . I don’t like being negative but feel I need to write this review

We are regular visitors to Kofi, we came today to sample the new autumn/winter menu, mr and my wife both had the truffle mushroom and spinach Benedict, it was delicious. Kofi remains consistent in its service and quality. Keep doing what you’re doing guys

Kofi and Co is a smart coffee shop and cafe in the centre of Wetherby. They have a very good menu of light meals and snacks, and the cakes looked excellent. We were only in for coffees which were both excellent and the only negative for me is that the cup was a tad small for my liking, and there is no option to order a larger size. And I’m clearly not alone in this respect as, rather unusually in a cafe, I saw people at two other tables order second coffees. Service was friendly and very good.

Best brunch in Wetherby. We try and go most weekends and the food is so delicious. I’ve always found the staff helpful and friendly. Always recommend to friends. My only complaint is that you sometimes have to wait for a table at the weekend but that is just testament to how good it is!

The staff were friendly and professional. Debbie was particularly helpful. The cafe has plenty of space across two floors with original artwork on the upper floor. The menu is extensive. The food was tasty and well prepared using good ingredients and represented excellent value for money.we had the grills which were excellent.

Lovely place, lovely staff and delicious food. We have been a lot and it’s always amazing. Would love to be able to book tables but I understand as a business decision it might not be best.

Lovely coffee shop with far more space inside than you imagine. Friendly helpful staff, great coffee and delicious food. 2nd time we have visited, standards have not dropped. Well done Kofi........

Breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon coffee and cake are all wonderful at Kofi. We love eating breakfast or brunch here because the variation of dishes is wonderful - much more to choose from than most cafes. They even press their own delicious apple juice. Ingredients are all quality and local and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is great, always a buzz because its so popular and the staff are really friendly and efficient. We eat breakfast out a lot and nowhere is anywhere near as wonderful as Kofi.

Excellent food, hot and cold drinks plus friendly attentive service with a great gesture at the end. First time there but will be back for further 'special' occasions

The coffee is always top quality, the food nothing short of delicious. I recommend the whole menu. The staff have always been nice and attentive to me and my family whilst there.

Exquisite taste in every bite! The diverse menu and artisanal beverages make this cafe a must-visit for foodies. Proper barista coffee in the Wetherby area, cannot fault! Hash browns are insane
