Korat Thai in Islington

Not cheap, but not expensive either. Best (northern) Thai food in North London. A proper local gem.

I discovered Korat Thai Café when I lived in Islington, and I keep coming back when I visit this neighborhood in London. It’s very close of Angel and the underground it’s 200 m, but it’s better Canonboury by overground because just you’ll walk 50m. It’s a familiar restaurant and the atmosphere is very nice. The whole family knows me and every time I go, they treat me very well. We see how we change over the years. The food it’s very good and always I eat the famous Pad Thai with prawns, the ingredients have high quality, and the prawns are very fresh. The menu is variety and isn’t very expensive. I recommended going to this place. It’s a great place to go when you visit London and look for Thai food.

A genuinely fantastic restaurant...Food is AMAZING... Staff are really nice, too. Korats tuffed chicken wings are the best fried chicken dish in London.

The best Thai food around by far, all in a very quiet and relaxed setting with a genuine service. No MSG, BYO and a Bigg menu!!

Very quaint and friendly Thai place. My wife is Thai, so she knows what's what. She spoke with the staff and ordered something which wasn't on the menu, they made it for her as she likes. All food was nice and very reasonably priced.

We went as 2couples, food was amazing and fresh, the staff were delightful and very pretty restaurant! Great place on our doorstep and a welcome change from the norm!

The best Thai restaurant around, the menu is also friendly for gluten free /coeliac (/all allergies) and everybody is very friendly. It is BYOB £2 per head, 100% recommend ! I have been here many times :)
