Krumbz Cafe in Wiltshire

Off the High Street this was a fabulous find. Nice, seating arrangement, so elbows weren't in next table's plates. Three lovely breakfasts, friendly staff and beautiful cakes. Don't queue on the main street!

Recently Hired Krumbz to host my mums surprise 60th Birthday party. From start to finish they where very helpful and provided some amazing food and catered to everyone's allergies. Great venue and great hosts I would highly recommend Krumbz to anyone looking for a venue. Thanks again

My daughter and I had a light lunch and it was delicious. Atmosphere was buzzing, staff are always friendly and the food was great. Great place to meet friends for a bite to eat or just for a drink and cake!! Highly recommend!!

Sublime lunch. A couple of glasses of prosecco and two delicious toasties whilst sat by the river in the sun. Good, friendly service and very reasonable.

I'm really disappointed. I popped in to order a treat lunch for my children and my parents. I ordered 4 baguettes and a sandwich. I got 2 baguettes, 2 sandwiches, and what was missing was the most expensive baguette. I got lettuce on all but only asked for 2. I was charged £34 for 5 items, but my mums brie and cranberry with bacon was missing. I had tried phoning several times over a couple hours to pre order but never got an answer. You'd think with 5 staff someone could man the phones and a large (ish) order could be correctly fulfilled. Orders had to be split so every one had something. I won't be visiting again as my confidence has been rocked. Such a shame.

An oasis of calm away from the bustle of the High Street, tucked away beside the river. A good range of sandwiches, attractive salads and lunch bites, freshly prepared with attentive staff. Frequented by those in the know. Seek it out!.

We are so lucky to have this wonderful cafe so close to our home. It is no wonder they won BEST CAFE IN WILTSHIRE 2024 at Englands Business Awards! Our family proudly introduce friends who are visiting the area and they always ask to pop back in to Krumbz. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere, really fresh food and set in the most beautiful part of Marlborough. Keep up the good work guys, a great place run by a great family!

First occasion to visit this café yesterday with friends for morning coffee. Lovely location, very friendly & pleasant staff, but the coffees were really not up to much and well below my expectation. This was also the case with the scones , although I heard no complaints about the cakes ! Nevertheless, seemed very popular ,so you might want to reserve a table if you still decide give it a try. You could always have tea & cake!

Nice location good service, nice coffee, excellent sandwiches

Food was quite nice, milkshake was rubbish (definitely not worth £4.40!) and top of it looked very odd. A bit worrying as it's dairy, kind of looked like it had curdled. Lady who took our order was a bit rude but other staff seemed nice.

Beautiful! Lovely spot. Great food. And take a walk across the stream and into the meadow when you’re done

Although I enjoyed my full English, and I appreciate that preparation can be slower as the food is cooked to order; over 45 minutes was, in our view, just a little overlong to wait. The cost was reasonable, at just under £30 towards the top of the range in this area, but it included the two breakfasts, coffee and fruit juice. Service was friendly.

The staff were very nice to let us order breakfast even tho it was a few minutes past 11am when they ended serving breakfast. Again, the staff were awesome and the English Breakfast was awesome.

Lovely little cafe in the heart of Marlborough. Great atmosphere. Very friendly and welcoming owner. Everything is homemade with good quality ingredients in their immaculate kitchen. Sylvie very much cares about the food she is producing. Coffee is excellent! Highly recommended!

Staff lovely, beautiful setting. Please come here, after being closed due to flooding, they need your support. Two of us had toast topped with avocado, two poached eggs, and lots of smoked salmon, delicious. My husband had the full English and he is super fussy when it comes to sausages! He said they were the tastiest he has had! And finally, a sausage and bacon sandwich, which was declared delicious too. We will be back.

Birthday brunch at Krumbs. I had bacon, brie and chilli jam toastie, it was delicious. An excellent menu, something for everyone. Great service. Best to book a table as its very busy.

Meeting a friend in Marlborough for lunch as it's halfway for us both and looked up Cafes in the town and chose Krumbz - what a fantastic choice. So friendly, clean, homely, cozy, delicious food - we had sandwiches and cake there were also fresh salads and home made soup which other diners were enjoying. Tucked away you might not stumble upon it but we will be coming back for sure thank you very much

What a fantastic little find - meeting a friend in Marlborough for lunch searched cafes and luckily chose this one. Friendly, clean, cozy, lovely food. We had toasted sandwiches but other diners had fresh salads and home made soup. Would probably recommend to book as it is isn't huge and would hate for you to miss out. Tucked away off the high street but easy to find and 2 hours free parking nearby if you are lucky !

We popped here with my Dad for a spot of lunch. Lovely little place off the beaten track of the High Street, sandwiches were fabulous, I had sweet chilli prawn, my Dad the coronation chicken, bursting with the fillings! Friendly service, highly recommend for a casual bite to eat.

A real Gem in this Beautiful Town of Marlborough. Have been a long time visitor to Krumbz but the current owners offer great service & hospitality as well as value for money. It has a lovely atmosphere and a log burning fire in the winter. Large selection of delicious home made cakes as well as everything else from filled roles sandwiches, baguettes and meals. Yes it does get busy but that’s a sign of its popularity and in the summer there is outside seating sat next to the river Kennet. One of my favorite hostelries and well worth a visit whatever the occasion.

Quite the most filling and tasty sandwich I have enjoyed in years.

Simply a great venue, first class service, first class meals & first class cakes, the owners are a delight to deal with & the venue is just so nice be it winter or summer! Something quite nice about a roaring wood burner but just nice to sit outside in the summer, they are very accommodating & offer a first class service, check out the Wiltshire Mans video on YouTube but better still take a visit yourselves, you won’t be disappointed! One of my favourites starts to a Saturday morning with my wife & elderly father. Here’s to Krumbz & great hospitality in Marlborough!!!

Passing through on our way from High Wycombe to Shepton Mallet and stopped off to visit friends in Marlborough. Unsure where we were being taken as we were walking further and further away from the High Street but seeing the tables all occupied on this sunny Saturday morning gave me confidence this was my type of cafe. My friends hadn't booked but thankfully the owner gentleman allowed us to use a reserved table for an hour which suited us perfectly. Two of us ordered the egg, bacon and sausage sandwich and our wives the brie, bacon and apple chilli jam toasties which were all perfect and throughly recommend. All washed down with hot chocolate and a variety of coffees. Great cafe, food and service and definitely recommend a visit!

Since we were last here, Krumbz has enhanced its menu and improved the interior seating, etc. Love the blazing woodburner!

A regular stop when visiting relatives Great Sandwiches no scrimping on fillings and lovely fresh bread to die for We had the prawns with Marie Rose sauce and the prawn with chilli sauce. Lovely food and atmosphere! the owners went above and beyond and hand delivered my wallet back to my home address, which I had left on the sofas! I hadn't even realised I had lost it! Lovely people. Also recommend the cakes

Just called in for a coffee, nice atmosphere and service

Been visiting this lovely cafe for years with family and friends. Always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and welcome from the owner and staff. However today we visited and PAID for our drinks and cakes to a male person who took our order at the counter. Upon leaving this same person stopped us outside to ask if we had paid!!!! We were shocked and horrified to be asked such a question having already this person only one hour before!! We told him we had paid and he didn’t apologise but said he just wanted to check!!! I asked if he was the new owner which we suspected as he kept walking up and down the cafe whilst we were their making us feel uncomfortable, and he confirmed he was. This person needs to gain some skills in front of house pleasantries and also seek treatment for his memory so that he would remember he had served us and we had paid one hour earlier. Will we return? Very doubtful

The food was okay, but unimaginative.. especially the vegan option. Ingredients were left out of the sandwiches when they arrived at the table. Care should always be taken with presentation and service .

Lovely little cafe. Tight for space though. 3 four seater tables already reserved so we had a tight for space two seater table. Lovely coffee and bacon rolls although I noticed two separate tables had the wrong order x

A great little place by the river with inside and outside seating, clean and simply stylishly decorated. All the staff were very friendly, accommodating and nothing was too much. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and we'll definitely return. The food was tasty, fresh and well presented and set us up for our motorbike ride home to Essex. Thank you ladies 💛

Came across this cafe whilst wandering around Marlborough. It's a delight. They were very welcoming, and we sat outside with the dog. The food was tasty and prepared fresh in a timely manner. If I lived nearer I would be a regular.

A nice small cafe tucked away behind the Hugh Street near to the River Kennet. We sat outside and enjoyed our coffee in the sunshine.

Food is delicious, the service is a little slow , but that's because they make it fresh, lovely if you can get a table outside

We visited yesterday at 1 o'clock hoping hoping to get a sandwich for lunch. We needed to be away just before 2 so asked if we would have time to order and eat and we told yes it should be OK. I then asked if they had a high chair and got an off hand response of no as it being used. Why have only 1 high chair? Having decided on our order we went to the counter to be told, again in a not really interested manner that it would be over half an hour wait. I appreciate thatcthey were busy but the impression given was that we were more of a nuisance than valued customers. This was a bit of a disappointment having gone there after seeing many positive reviews.

We went in for what turned out to be the most delicious lunch we have had in a very long time!! It was amazing. The venue is lovely by the river and the service was outstanding. We are so looking forward to going back soon

What a cracking little cafe. I often have breakfast meetings with different groups of friends and the Krumbz breakfast is by far and away the best I've had. I also call in for a light lunch and/or cake and coffee mid bike rides and the cakes are fresh and tasty. The staff are also friendly, welcoming and attentive. I would thoroughly recommend Krumbz as the best cafe in Marlborough and the surrounding area.

Sat next to the wood burner, great atmosphere, friendly and competent staff. Great to see locally sourced produce on the menu. All the food was fresh. Likewise, independent in a town full of chains. Definitely, will be returning next time I’m back in Marlborough.

Just wonderful, lovely people, easy atmosphere, fantastic breakfast and lunch. Lovely little outdoor area by the river for sunny lunches, and a cosy fire inside for snuggly hot chocolate with friends. One of my favourite places in Marlborough. Though...hard to leave without a chocolate crispy cake...bad habit!
