First time we have tried this one in all the years we have been visiting and now living. What a mistake..... it was absolutely amazing! The staff were really lovely and the food had a great taste. This will now be my go to Chinese

Food was hot & tasty. We collected it at the time arranged & didn’t have have a long wait before the food was ready for collection which is unusual for most takeaways. Good value for the money & staff pleasant. If I’m the area again we would happily use it again.

Great food. Very reasonably priced. Salt and chilli chips are to die for!! The staff are always friendly. So what if it’s cash only! Cash point is only a short walk away at Sainsburys 👍🏼

I went to visit a friend in the area so thought I’d give it a go. I ordered roughly £30 worth of food and we enjoyed it a lot! The staff were lovely although the young English girl accidentally charged extra which I didn’t realise but they came out and told me, refunded me the extra straight away and apologised sincerely which I appreciated.

I don’t know why I do it to myself - second meal here and this time as bad as the one before. Only went here as the other Chinese in town was shut. Shredded chili beef was rock hard and fairly bland, the spring rolls just as bland. Service from the girl taking orders was poor - had to drag herself away from her phone to serve me. Go to the other place in town, or better still get an Indian takeaway as all three locals are better.

We were looking for a Chinese whilst visiting friends and chose this place, ordered several items from the menu for collect, which wasn’t ready on time. The Kung Po chicken was bland and lacking spice, crispy shredded beef was swimming in oil, that was a first! Overall it was very disappointing, being relatively local we certainly won’t be returning here anytime soon.

Had a take away whilst on holiday at Sandford May 2021. Ordered 7 dishes which were all well cooked, great size & very tasty. This rivalled our preferred Chinese in London so we were very impressed & wanted to leave an up to date review to encourage others go give it a go. It's a difficult decision when you are away in an area you don't know & have to decide where to choose from.

While on holiday nearby we noticed this takeaway while visiting Wareham earlier in the day. Our only problem was trying to park at night nearby and finally ended up in a carpark. We ordered several dishes and all were very good. I always order deep fried crispy beef and am usually disappointed, Not this time. This was the best I've had for many years. We enjoyed everything, it was hot, fresh and very tasty. I would certainly recommend KW.

We’ve been using KW for 15 years and have always had great food - in our view it’s easily the best Chinese takeaway in Wareham

Had difficulty making the perfectly spoken English girl understand my order.Drove from Swanage to collect the order.Back home found the portions large but very bland. We ordered chicken and beef but both dishes were chicken, too far to return. The soup was nice but the rest of the meal was tasteless, the chicken was tender however.

I have visited KW for years since I was a child. I hadn't been for a few years as I've moved away but on a visit back home I treated myself and I'm so glad I did. They really do make the best Chinese food and no other Chinese compares in my opinion! They're also the only Chinese I've found that do lemon chicken covered in sauce which I absolutely love and I've never found anywhere else that does crispy chicken like they do! It really is the best Chinese!

This is quite possibly the worst chinese takeaway I have had the misfortune to use. I called to order takeaway for my mother and I, mid-evening on a Friday. I ordered a chicken curry and a prawn curry with 2 fried rice and a fried noodles and a bottle of soy sauce. I had travelled 3 miles to collect it. Having returned home, there were 2 fried rice, fried noodles and a chicken curry The prawn curry and the soy sauce were both missing. I drove back to the restaurant to complain and saw the English girl that I had collected the food from. She called the chef/owner from the kitchen. Whilst conciliatory, both seemed to find something amusing about the situation. I did not find it funny at all. Having returned home and opened the food, I increasingly realised that they had probably done us a favour by missing food from the order. It was absolutely inedible. The rice was greasy, the noodles tasteless and in the curries consisted of a few barely-cooked ingredients in a semi-transparent, watery slop. If I had actually been tasked to prepare a dish which was truly pathetic and unappetising, I could not have done as badly as KW Chinese did. I cannot stress just how bad it was. Even my mum who is renowned both for her terrible cooking for her forgiveness of ineptitude could not eat this fare. Avoid at all costs.

We got a takeaway from here and wished we didn't. They got the order wrong, chicken chowmein had no chicken or any other meat for that matter. Also there was plain chow main noodle at the bottom and a layer of beansprout on the top. The chicken fried rice had pieces of unflavoured roast chicken mixed after fried rice was made! Wished I knew how crap it was. Never eaten such tasteless Chinese before. Never order from here.

Called in for a takeaway. Ordered a special curry with fried rice. It was inedible. Never seen a curry like it. Full of carrots in every shape, hardly any meat. Funny red colour. It went in bin.

Had a take-away from their varied menu. It was hot but maybe we picked the wrong foods as we found all the dishes greasy. I suppose we get used to our local chinese at home and this didn't hit the spot. Friendly staff but perhaps we'll try again if visiting the area again and make different choices - or ask for advice.

Decent Chinese near where we stayed and the meals were fantastic! This place deserved 5 stars on tripadvisor. The noodles and rice and cashew and sweet and sour and dumpling dishes were yummy! I suggest you drop in! The lads behind the counter did a good job in customer service!

We had a take-away from here at the weekend. We watched as the girl who had taken our orders took money from another customer and then scooped her unwashed hands into the seaweed & cashew nuts before transferring them to take-away containers. She then wiped her hands on her jeans before serving the next customer. We decided to take the risk of eating the rest of the meal - it was ok at best. One chicken dish tasted rather odd. We wouldn't use them again.

We holiday in Wareham about 5 or 6 times a year and most times we visit we have a takeaway from KW. The food is always really tasty, fresh and is good value. So we would strongly recommend it. But the one downside is that unless you order by phone and just turn up, you have to wait a long time. Sometimes, like Saturdays, the wait can be 45 minutes. And often the place does not seem that busy. Other Chinese restaurants seem to have the speed of cooking a bit more sorted out. If KW did this, they would definitely get 5 stars.

Food was gross. Kung Po Chicken was a strange red colour. King Prawn balls in batter were good to be fair though the sweet and sour sauce was just sour. Curry was sweet. Fried rice was not freshly cooked. Would never eat here again.

I don't understand the bad reviews for this place. I had amazing fish and chips. Fish freshly cooked and very moist and thick. They even did a lightly battered one for my mum. Good veggie options. My wife loved her battered halloumi and battered pea fritter (plus pickled egg). I would 100% recommend and come back when I next in Wareham.

This used to be great. Lovely pizzas and great chicken kebabs. We used to use them a lot as locals. I'm not sure whether it's changed hands or has a new manager, but now it is awful. Had a pizza a couple of months ago and wasn't great. Tonight, I just had a chicken kebab. It was basically stips of chicken (5) plonked onto a cold pitta. Literally about a teaspoon of lettuce, 2 slices of cucumber, and a quarter of a tomato. Chilli sauce, no coleslaw or sauces. Extra jalapeños were requested... I got 2 small ones. Sorry, we would like to support local but won't be bothering you again. What makes it worse is the fact prices have gone up!

We'd read the mixed (mainly bad reviews!) before camping at next-door Primrose Fields and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The family that ran the pub were lovely; warm, welcoming, accommodating and friendly. It was a super hot day and I didn't fancy a hot meal which is all they had on the menu - so I asked if there was any chance of a sandwich - no fuss, no bother - I wasn't made to feel difficult at all! Sandwich was big and delish; tuna crunch with salad on fresh tiger bloom and a side of tasty chips. The rest of our party had a mix of burgers, scampi, more sandwiches (I set a trend!), all of which were very well received. Not a morsel left. After lunch, I went to see if they might have any ice creams, and very kindly, they sold us six cornettos which were evidently from their family supply - I was really impressed with their above and beyond attitude. In addition, the pub garden is lovely; big mature trees, a wildlife pond, big lawn with sun and shade seating options, mini play park for the kids - all set way back from the road so you really feel you're in the middle of the country. All in all, it felt more like going to someone's house than a pub which I really liked. Would definitely recommend to any campers or passers by.

Our third visit to the Angelbury. Very good food, very reasonable prices and very friendly service. Interesting history to the building with connections to T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia).
