Very very good, highly recommended, food is good, lots of choices, vegetarian meals available, so are pizzas, we went as a post christmas party and everyone enjoyed the evening.

Lovely little place. Food was good. Parking was hit and miss depending on if there are sports going on.

This place completely surprised me. Inside is so much bigger than you would imagine, we got seated in a kind of conservatory type place, i thought it was going to be freezing but it was so warm in there, the atmosphere is amazing and the place itself is so lovely. The food was 10/10, the portions are more than generous and everything tasted unbelievable. Honestly would recommend to anyone. The service was good but we were served by someone who was just starting out so was a little rocky. But all in all a great experience and am planning on going back.

It is the most under rated restaurant and location. Its located in residential area of hughton regis. The food, service, atmos, everything ticks the box. Its spacious and sufficient room for families with kids. They even have kids menu which tastes as good.

Had a nice evening but you feel like you're being rushed. You have 2 hours from when you arrive so you can't relax as you're constantly looking at your watch!

The best restaurant in town! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Everything was perfect – I have nothing to complain about. Highly recommend!!!

Good place for families and group of friends to take food and drink.

Food was tasty, good portions, staff were friendly, only downside was it was noislllit was a Saturday night though so it was busy. We struggled to hear everyone on the table talking. But I would still recommend and will come back.

My first fillet steak was overcooked, so we sent it back. The next one was fine, but because of the delay, my wife had finished her main course before I had started mine, which did not make for a very nice 'date night' experience 😢

Clean environment, friendly staff Elena was very lovely, kind and compassionate, she has excellent communication skills and customer service skills. Steak was fair but the mash was nothing to write home about, just mash potatoes without milk or butter, I feel the chef would have done better.

Amazing food and service, only thing I would change is it was a bit too loud with the music combined with how busy it was. My daughter struggles with loud noise so became overwhelmed during the meal but could not fault the food or service at all.

This place is my favourite restaurant in Dunstable - a lovely atmosphere, absolutely delicious food and surprisingly decent prices. Highly recommend the mussels (although it doesn't come with bread to mop up the sauce) and the seafood tagliatelle.... scrumptious.

If you're going to have an Italian restaurant, I expect the pasta to be al dente anyway. Here it was overcooked, there were several of us who ate and I and one other had pasta in different varieties, i.e. not the same kind, both were mushy. The staff were really nice though. Otherwise, the music was played far too loud, which spoiled the atmosphere.

The food and service were fine, the main courses were great but they need to specify on the menu if chilli is included in a dish as my starter had chilli which I am intolerant of. To be fair I told the manger and staff this and they took my starter off the bill and gave us a complimentary shot to make up for my discomfort. I've never been there before so was expecting a more traditional Italian restaurant, which it isn't but overall a good night out.

Been many times to La Bella Calabria. Always good service. Sat in the new extension which was nice, however could do with some blinds to the car park, after being dazzled by so many headlights. Great food. A little bit more expensive than your average however completely worth it.

Great experience at La Bella Calabria for a family birthday celebration. We were at Whipsnade Zoo for a family birthday celebration. I did some research into local restaurants and this one came highly recommend on TripAdvisor (we're not local). Fantastic service by our waitress who was friendly and chatty, went the extra mile for our birthday celebration. Food was really good and quick with good portion sizes. Prices were fair for the quality and we'd go back again!

I booked online for the 5 of us hoping to get s Sunday roast. I also left a phone message asking for them to book us a table but never heard back from anyone to say it was booked. So I decided to call a couple of hours before our slot to check reservation as I didn't receive a email or anything. Spoke with a guy and he said yes it's all in the diary. I asked would we all be able to a roast Sunday lunch he said yes no problem. I again asked would it be wise for us to order our lunch in advance as I know they can run out. He assured me no your be fine they have plenty of food it wouldn't be necessary. So we arrived on time, and was seated 10 min later, when we were about to order the waitress said no roast dinners! So we were extremely disappointed especially as we called to check if we needed to and were told no. However decided to order from the menu, we all enjoyed the food with exception to one of our guest who said the veal was a bit tough. Luckily it's a place we have visited a good few times so it won't put us off, but we will in the future ring and book our roast in advance!

Visited in the evening on a Saturday and the place was heaving. Luckily we had booked. Initially found the room very noisy, both from the the general hubbub and also music on the speakers, however, we were immediately moved to another quieter area, when requested, with no problems. The menu is substantial and you can see the team of chefs working away in the open kitchen. No boil in the bag pub grub here, it was clearly all being cooked to order. The waiting staff were all very polite and efficient. Our waitress also had a great sense of humour. Drinks orders taken quickly and arrived shortly afterwards. Food ordered shortly after and turned up in a timely manner. Keeping in mind that the place was packed, I was expecting to have to wait, but there were no delays and staff came by regularly. My wife asked for some more toast with her pate and it was not an issue and arrived within a couple of minutes. The main courses were of good portions, well presented and very tasty. Needless to say, we had to try the desserts which were also very nice. Total bill with drinks for four adults having three courses was £156, so not cheap, but not expensive either. I am looking forward to returning and trying out lunch time. It is amazing to find a place this good tucked away in a housing estate. My only reason for four stars was the initial noise levels. Had we not been able to move I would have found it quite uncomfortable and difficult to hold a conversation. As it was, the area we ended up sitting in was absolutely fine.

Came here on a weekday for a catch up with a friend and was lovely as we sat in conservatory bit and had lunchtime menu which was big enough for me....came on a Saturday for family catch up and there was quite a few of us. Was very, very busy, and the menu was different from lunchtime.....I ordered the seabass and even though I only had the prawn cocktail for starters, I couldn't finish my dinner... was very good but big portions....I'll remember for next time. Service was very good considering how busy the place was and the only reason I gave a 4 for atmosphere was because we were all trying to catch up so was hard to hear 😄....but otherwise all good

I have been here a few times I enjoyed the food and the service the portions are just the right size and as I am tall and large person that's rear.

We live close by and this is our first experience of La Bella Calabria! WE WILL BE BACK!! I chose the pollo BBQ pizza which DIDN'T disappoint. Although we ordered and collected we went inside and the atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant was clean.

An absolute gem! Amazing food, great prices, brilliant service and a warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door. You can tell the food is cooked with a real passion, and authentic Italian touch. Great value for money, especially when you consider that they don't scrimp on the portions either! Full of flavour that you'll be hard pushed to match outside of Italy. Even once we'd paid the bill, you aren't rushed out, like so many places. We'll definitely be back!

Love the food and waitresses good. Only a 4 as was my son's birthday and despite me mentioning it at the start, they didn't do anything. Most places put a candle in the dessert or something and we ordered 3 courses .
