We loved it here, warm, welcoming, colourful and friendly service. The food was very good too.😋 Grim dark Wigan has a shiny gem in this restaurant 🤩

Absolutely amazing food, went here on a whim after typing tacos near me on google. Did not disappoint, large portions and tastes amazing. If you like spicy food I suggest taking some hot sauce or asking for some as food is mild, but tastes amazing.

Wow wow wow,loved this place first timer & won't be the last,make sure you book a table first,the atmosphere was brilliant, the service out of this world,and omg tge food was the best I've had for a while.great food menu,I don't normally do 3 courses but I did here ,fantastic drinks menu ,highly recommend this fantastic restaurant

Mexican Lasagne was awesome. Shame no soft tacos. Welcome was warm and inviting. Waiter tried a little too hard. Telling the whole restaurant my bill total was poor etiquette.

Familia de cuatro, nuestra primera vez en el restaurante después de reservar para el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Tuvimos un gran tiempo, increíble comida, servicio y ambiente. Tenía las alitas de pollo Carolina reaper que eran tan sabrosas. Naturalmente una buena patada para ellos, pero para cualquiera que le guste la comida picante una gran opción. Para filete principal fajitas (medio raro) cocinado a la perfección, y mi esposa tenía los Nachos para empezar, con Quesadilla cocinado a fuego lento carne principal que era tan bueno! Lo que realmente nos hizo la noche fue nuestro servidor, Joanna! Ella era genial con los niños, había puesto una pequeña pancarta de feliz cumpleaños, e incluso sacó un regalo de fuego de cumpleaños con el desierto. Volveremos pronto!

The food was fantastic. It came fairly quick, and the waitress was amazing with us, the kids, and just overall lovely. We went about 8 years ago and it wasn't great but we decided to try it again and we were not disappointed. It's clean, fun, and just a lovely meal out.

Lovely building and a really nice restaurant. The food was really nice with lots of flavours and colours like you would expect from a Mexican but my only critique is I like spicy food and asked for it to be hot but unfortunately it was very mild. Other than that we really enjoyed it

I think a fair review would be 2.5, but the staff were lovely and it's a chilled out vibe. The nachos were ok, I loved the homemade nachos from tortillas. The mains were really bland though. Honestly the only thing adding flavor was the random mint and sprig of coriander. Worth a visit, others might enjoy it and return; don't think we will though!

I had the beef chilli tacos, and wow, the portion was huge! The tacos had melted cheese, beef chilli, radishes and pink onions, all three were full of filling. There was nicely flavoured rice on the side too, and a side salad. The soured cream dip was nice too, coming from someone who doesn't like soured cream! It was only £13.75; great value for money. Service was fast and staff were polite. Good atmosphere too: every table got a sombrero!

Been coming here for years and cannot fault the service, food or staff. Such a friendly place serving brilliant food. Thumbs up to Ramonos the chef who continually serves excellent food.

La comida era bastante estándar. Estaba bien, pero nada increíble... lo que podías hacer en casa, pero no lavarte. Pedí fajitas que estaban bien, mi hermano pidió filete medio / raro que estaba hecho en exceso, mi compañero pidió un burrito que estaba en el microondas y frío en el medio. Sin embargo, se le cobró £ 18 por una botella de Chardonnay australiano, que es bastante estándar para un restaurante. No me pidieron que lo probara, me lo llevaron a la mesa y lo vertieron... sabía horrible. Miramos la botella y era realmente barato Chardonnay español. Cuando mencionamos esto a la nuestra camarera inicial (que era encantadora) ella habló así que alguien detrás de la barra. Otra chica rubia más joven vino Ofer con una actitud terrible y dijo... ¿cuál es el problema? Cuando explicamos que su respuesta fue... bueno, ¡nadie se había dado cuenta antes! ¿Lo quieres o no? Realmente no sabía qué decir... a partir de entonces teníamos un grupo de mujeres de pie en el bar mirándonos. Great Wigan restaurant. Food was good and portion sizes were huge. Service was also brilliant on a busy Friday night when there were a lot of Christmas party's going on

I have mobility issues & was having a particularly bad pain flare up. The staff were very accomodating & ensured that I was comfortable & that my table was suitable for what I needed. The staff here are amazing, they're friendly and will do absolutely everything they can to ensure that you have a good experience. They are very forthcoming and have incredibly positive attitudes. The staff really make this a 5* experience! The food was fantastic, it always is. You can't get better tex-mex in the area. The chilli poppers are creamy and actually have a piece of jalapeno inside- inside of a flavouring. One of my favourite dishes here is the pulled pork burrito, it is a generous serving & tastes fantastic. You can tell that there is a lot of pride in what the staff do here! I didn't drink any alcoholic beverages during this visit but they do have a fantastic variety of cocktails, beers, ciders & tequila!

I love it here, great food, fantastic staff and the cocktails are delicious! There aren't many good restaurants in Wigan that have everything - good food, good staff and good cocktails, but La Sentidos has it all! The burgers are massive and very nice, the cluck and moo burger is huge! It has a beef burger and a chicken escalope in it. The fajitas are very nice too, there's a deal on Wednesday and Thursday where you can get two fajitas for £25 I think it is.. The Nacho's are delicious and I always ask for extra cheese sauce, it's sooo good. They also do a starter of cheesy garlic mushrooms, these are very nice too. They also have churros for dessert, with dolce de leche sauce, very nice and freshly made. There is a lot to choose from from their drink menu, they serve a lot of cocktails, I recommend the Cherry coke cocktail! For non- drinkers , there's a nice mocktail based on the tequila sunrise and it's called Sunrise, this one is very tasty. The staff are so lovely, Joanna is just brilliant, so friendly and talkative. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who just wants to have a nice meal out or people not local to Wigan who want a tasty restaurant local to everything.

Can't praise this restaurant enough, food,service, atmosphere and fab magheritas. Food is excellent and the staff are brilliant. So friendly. After our meal we sat at the bar to finish our drinks. We ordered another round as the atmosphere was so good. Oh and a few shots of Tequila.

Went here as a family, the food was fantastic, the atmosphere brilliant and the lady who waited on our table was absolutely lovely. The place is really easy to find with parking not too far in any direction. Great experience all round.

Amazing food every time, came in tonight and food was great. A few young girls served us tonight and were so friendly and polite, nothing is ever too much. love it everytime, cheap, easy and delicious.

We went last night having pre-booked a table for three which was ready for us on arrival . The place has a lovely Mexican vibe with a nice mix of families and adults. The service was spot on . It's a hard working staff and they can't do enough for you . They never stand still and are very warm , giving you time to choose and never over powering . The excellent food is cooked fresh but the waiting time between courses is impressively short. My wife had the sea bass which she said is the best cooked she has ever had ! Servings are very generous and entirely yummy. The quality is excellent . Entirely a lovely evening .👍👏👏👏

The food is amazing! Don't be put off by the exterior, it's beautiful inside. The ingrediants are fresh and good quality, portion sizes are ample and lots of straw hats to try on (who doesn't like a hat!?) Went for lunch with a friend, family friendly, but no flat level access so not wheelchair accessible x

Visited yesterday as family of 3 adults and 2 boys. Very warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. All the food was excellent and the kids meals in particular were great value. Waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. Drinks very reasonably priced too. We are likely to return soon.

This is legitimately the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to! I’ve had some disappointing Mexican food before, and this blows them all away! The food is fresh, delicious and there’s plenty of it! We had the nachos to share which was so tasty. The nachos were freshly made, the chilli was delicious and it was very filling. The burrito was the same, just fantastic. The staff are very attentive and lovely, even letting me take away my burrito in a box as I was too full to finish it. I also had a few non-alcoholic mojito cocktails which were really refreshing. Really looking forward to going again!

Absolute spot on with the food ... all the staff are very friendly, we was out for a birthday and our server gifted a hot chocolate brownie with ice cream with a sparkler ... it was a very nice surprise. Thank you.

From the moment we arrived Joanna was smiley, friendly and more than happy to help us get a table even though we hadn’t booked on a busy Friday night. It was as if the owner googled Mexican stereotypes and decided to place it as a tex mex place. Sombreros everywhere, the mascots on the kids meals dressed in stereotypes. It’s pretty offensive. The kids meal says ‘learn Mexican’ as if Mexican is a language? That’s news to me. Also tex mex food shouldn’t be this dry. The soft shell taco was hard. A SOFT SHELL FLOUR TACO the Mexican rice was rice but not Tex Mex at all. Service was slow like super slow and I can’t begin to understand why. Also jambalaya isn’t Tex Mex. I can excuse bad food but not the blatant disregard for culture.

I would really recommend this place even more then 5 stars! The staff are so lovely and smiley orders quicker then you expect, conversation always. And such a happy atmosphere. I couldn’t recommend more! The food is incredible every time I’ve been I go to try something different, knowing the one I had before was incredible but then are even more shocked with how delicious the meal is!! Just a massive appreciation to the chef and staff. Especially Marta who has served me twice during different times and was always absolutely amazing x

Been here a few times and always the best service! Waitresses cant do enough for you, they are replenishing sauce/water jugs without us needing to ask, happy to make food and cocktail recommendations also. Very attentive. Food as always is very nice, big portions especially the burgers! Some dishes could do with a bit more flavour and a kick given its a mexican however that doesnt put us off coming again. As always im very impressed

I have returned to this restaurant many times over the years and the service is truly special every time. The staff are very attentive and make you feel comfortable. The cocktails here are delicious and the food even more so! I have tried many different meals off the menu and each time they never fail to disappoint. The quirky decor and the mexican hats at each table add a nice touch to the vibe that you get here! Highly recommended!!

We love this place either with friends of with family. Never had a bad meal, portions are huge, plenty of choice on the menu, cocktails are the best around with lots of choice. The staff are super lovely and attentive especially Joanna she is always working when we go in and she instantly puts you in a good mood, always smiling and happy she can’t do enough for you, people like Joanna are invaluable to a business! Had a fantastic, delicious meal here this evening. Everything was tasty and extremely well seasoned and huge portions. My partner has an allergy and the waitress Joanna made sure that he didn't die! As soon as myself and my wife walked in. We were greeted with smiles enthusiasm and kindness. Joanna is amazing as she was able to deal with my wife’s allergy needs. She was always willing to help with these issues. When the food came it was delicious and could not fault it in any way. My wife is chef of many years experience and are both lovers of Mexican food. Aside from that Joanna’s personality and friendliness shone through. Amazing meal. Jonny and Claire

We visited for the first time today and will definitely be coming back soon! We had booked a table for 8pm and there was a short wait to be seated, we sat outside with some drinks and the staff offered us a free drink to apologise for our wait. The wait for our table wasn’t much longer than 10/15 minutes and the staff serving were very polite and friendly. The food was lovely with large portions and reasonable prices. We can’t wait to come back and try some different things on the menu ☺️
