Laros Greek Street Food in Liverpool

He sido fan de Laros en Storrsdale Road desde que abrió, pero recientemente algo ha cambiado: mis dos últimas comidas fueron pobres, con papas fritas mal cocidas y carne dura. Ordered lunch for myself and my friend with honey mustard gyros. Arrived covered in mayonnaise (I have an egg intolerance) the mayo was not mentioned anywhere on the menu for allergies etc. Called and spoke to someone in the Mosley hill store (bold street has no phone number) that explained they would happily replace if it was ordered from them but bold street have refused. Absolutely terrible behaviour.

Realmente no soy de los que gemir y aprecio que los restaurantes / comida para llevar no siempre lo hacen bien, pero, esto realmente era más que horrible. Pedimos que nos entregaran dos comidas y eso salió bien. El repartidor era agradable, educado y amable. De ahí en adelante, fue impactante. Ninguno de los dos recibió lo que realmente pedimos y ambas comidas estaban prácticamente frías. Mi kebab de pollo y cerdo consistía únicamente en carne de kebab y poco más. Incluso eso era goma y de mal gusto. El kebab de pollo de mi esposa contenía piel de pollo con un trozo de halloumi. Aprecio que es un problema del mundo callejero y todo eso, pero recomendaría gastar el dinero ganado con tanto esfuerzo en otro lugar.

Been a regular costumer for the past year, great hygiene, can be well seen from the open Kitchen, food always fresh, and great staff, big up for the Egyptian guy

£ 10 + por una caja de calor con pollo y cerdo mezclados. Era del tamaño de un pequeño tazón del desierto. Las patatas fritas eran como patatas fritas congeladas Aldi. Cubierto de una fina capa de paquete de carne calentado . . . cubierto con un poco de mayonesa y un poco de chile licuado. AMAZING GYROS Ordered a pork gyros, it was a symphony of flavors, with the succulent pork perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The addition of the homemade tzatziki was a stroke of brilliance, providing a creamy and tangy contrast that elevated the entire dish.

Food absolutely delicious, we got mixed chicken and pork gyros, talagani cheese fries and loukoumades with milk chocolate. All of the food was fresh, hot, seasoned perfectly and more than enough in each portion. The staff are so lovely and friendly too - will definitely be back here again soon!

I'm not one to write reviews but the food here is absolutely delicious, so I felt compelled to give credit where credit is due. I ordered a chicken gyros with halloumi and white chocolate lokomades and it didn't disappoint. The gyros was mouthwateringly fresh, hot and packed to the brim with quality ingredients and the lokomades were just stunning - insane!! Crispy, hot, chewy, fluffy, light and smothered in warm melted chocolate. There aren't enough superlatives in the English language to describe how tasty their food is. None of this MSG riddled rubbish you'll find in the Subway next door, proper hearty, healthy, guilt free food just like mama made. Honestly guys just give it a go - you'll be going back again and again. ❤️

Fab service. The poor lad was nervous about being in Toxteth as he was outside the gate and apprehensive about coming up the front path. Food was superb. Left extremely full and both sauces had plenty of kick and garlic in them. Very content afterwards. Everything came wrapped and packaged beautifully. I will add to regular and order again very soon.

Absolute delight, large portion of mixed pork, chicken kebab. Order was delivered quick with enough food to fill a platoon. On top of this the food was delicious, a small part of Greece hidden away in scouser land, would eat again 10/10

First time ordering here last night, For the price and being located in town centre it is very competitive and fairly priced. The wrap (think it's called a gyros) is nice and thick, there was a lot of meat (I ordered pork) and it was nice and marinated but not spicy which is great as it is hard to go anywhere these days that hasn't been saturated in spice. I also didn't notice lots of fat which is another plus point. The chips were much better than other faster food outlets as they are skin on fries, not sure if home made or bought but they are tasty, the sauce I had was also very nice and thick and creamy. I only left out 1 star though because the chips were stuffed in the wrap and I personally would have preferred them separately so that more salad could be put in the wrap and maybe just a few extra of the tasty chips. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I left out only 1 star for atmosphere because of the smoke from a couple of outside smokers in the designated outside area was wafting through the indoors. I asked could I close the door and staff were polite and agreed but then luckily the smoker had left but the smoke still lingered. Obviously the size of the outdoor area is limited being on Bold street and you can't control everyone's actions however I think this is an issue especially for folk like myself with lots of health issues so therefore maybe some steps could be taken to mitigate it more like enforced signs of no smoking and air purifier fans close to the indoor seating areas, and as I personally didn't notice these things that's why I left out 1 star. Overall though a great decision to eat here.

Food was very tasty and good portions but I go a different box meal from this that I ordered. I hope I will get some money back for it but besides that food was great. It was also pretty quickly delivered. Order status was change few times.

"you will come and prepare the pita wrap yourself..... this was the answer that Mou gave after he prepared the food instead of telling 'enjoy',it's an open kitchen, I don't know why someone should be angry because I was watching him while he was preparing the food, lets not say he works in a kitchen as a "chef"and needs a dress code (he was wearing a big coat and hoodie covering his head) when l asked him that can i see your manager or boss, he said that I am the boss here. The food is good but the staff need costumer service training

Honestly the best food we’ve had in a long time! All freshly cooked with good quality ingredients - delicious :-)

The kolokythokeftedes were very good, the gyros and tzatziki were actual greek style, pretty decent. The skewers though were dry/tough and sinewy and the portions could be more generous. I would not call 2 little skewers and a salad a full portion personally ;)

The driver decided to detour for 20 minutes on the way to my house. So my order is freezing cold. Who wants cold fried cheese? Not me. This also happened last time I order from here. I just wanted to enjoy my meal.

We used to take away quite frequently as there was a promotion via uber eats. The food is great but now it is too expensive so will not coming back unforunately.

Laros has never disappointed however this was not the case on this occasion, unfortunately. Didn’t get my tzatziki sauce, lamb was tastless and hard to chew

Great little place, I highly recommend the gyros box with chicken and honey mustard. It's the perfect size to fill you up, tastes great and is very well priced.

Ordered via deliveroo, 2x missing beers from our food order. Laros Bold Street contact number not taking calls, had to use live chat with deliveroo- in the meantime our food went cold- refund to be processed but unable to speak to Laros themselves. We contacted Laros Mossley Hill who had very good customer services but were unable to help unfortunately.

Been to Laros on Storrsdale Road Liverpool twice, both times the service has been impeccable the staff could not do anymore for us. The food was lovely, big portions you definitely get what you pay for. The second time we went we where treated to desert by the staff which was a lovely touch for ourselves because it shows how much they want to ensure their customers have the best service and best experience.

Souvlaki and gyros were 5 star. Salads were beautiful, but quite bland(just oil based dressing…not any sour whatsoever). Personal preference. But a solid 4 star.

They had offers on uber eats so I ordered £30 odd of food and got £17 off, great right. No!!, delivery never arrived and 15 mins after i put in for a refund and got my money back. Tried to order the same food from the same place 20 mins after the food was supposed to have been delivered and all the offers had miraculously disappeared. Don't bother ordering from this company.

order place at 17:35 arrived 20:15- tried to call restaurant, no answer, when i called again the phone had been switched off. haven't tried food or opened boxes as we had to make alternative arrangements. Very disappointed and will not use again.

Absolutely abysmal. Been twice before and 10 out of 10 each time. Last times 2 skewers of nice chicken, this time a mixture of burnt sweet potatoe fries mixed with rock hard over cooked (was like chicken skin) absolutely revolting and bitterly disappointed with what you have sent me. You must be closing soon to care so little to send me what you have tonight

I try the food this night with delivery the food was hot perfect delicious the louckmads was unbelievable delicious I am from Bulgaria and I choose the best food every time! The best Greek Food in Liverpool very delicious! I will order again!
