Las Iguanas in City of London, Westminster

The £15 unlimited tapas is almost too good to be true! There is a 90 minute limit and we could "only" order 3 tapas per 2 persons per round so we thought we wouldn't get enough - we were wrong! The restaurant was full and busy, yet our food came out relatively quick! Overall the food was great. Best - lemon chipotle Gambas (prawns) and crispy calamares & sweet chilli popcorn squid. Worst - crispy hot honey chicken tacos and Brazilian fried chicken, both too dry. By round 3 we were absolutely defeated so we only got one churros each to finish the meal off! Shout out to our server James - 10/10 service.

A great start with smiley service and speedy cocktails. Food took nearly 40 minutes to arrive and half of it was cold. The replacement dishes took much longer than it takes to cook chips and calamares and the chicken taco didn't arrive before we had to leave for the theatre. Great waiting staff, but the kitchen clearly can't cope - the restaurant wasn't even full.

Used to enjoy going here but now I wouldn't rush back. Had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to order drinks, and then they took 20 minutes to arrive. When we sat down we were told that the tapas wasn’t available. Then when we ordered food 4 of 5 of the mains we wanted were unavailable. This was frustrating, as the staff should have communicated the extent of the menu reduction upfront—ideally before we ordered drinks—so we could have considered dining elsewhere. The portion size was very small considering we paid the best part of £20 for each mains. The chips of one of our meals were almost cold. Tip shouldn't be automatically added to the total either.

Fadi was an excellent server, really took care of us! The food was great and the restaurant itself is beautiful.

IT’S RLLY RLLY DISAPPOINTING. I booked and came to the restaurant at 6 pm for the bottomless menu, but they showed me that many of the dishes have been sold out. (As you can see in the picture, the dishes with colour or cross on it are out of order.) THAT’S LITERALLY ALMOST HALF OF THE MENU THAT WE CAN ORDER AND THEY ARE ALMOST ALL MEAT. No discrimination, but if you only welcome vegetarian during dinner time pls say it on your website. If you don’t have enough supply for your bottomless menu then DON’T DO it. DONT DISAPPOINT AND DISRESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Fadi and Evi added so many laughs to our date night and made it so vibrant and lovely. Service was so seamless and they answered all our questions. If Fadi and Evi are on shift, then I’ll definitely come back!

really bad experience for the “bottomless” tapas，over half of the menu is not available, I don't know what I can get except for chipotle chicken taco. If so why I don’t go to Chipotle？

Had an amazing time at Las Iguanas! Our server, Fadi, was absolutely incredible – super friendly, accommodating, and had us laughing with his great jokes through the evening. The food and drinks were great, but Fadi’s exceptional service truly made the experience unforgettable. We’ll definitely be returning based on the fantastic customer service alone. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent place for an after-the-theater meal, if you've been to the Southbank Centre or National Theatre. Early in the week they nominally shut at 10, but twice in the last few months I've arrived just after 10 and they've served me.

I came here not expecting much, and then I met Jon. During my time here, Jon treated me like royalty. Jon helped us get the best value for our money possible on the bottomless brunch, and made us feel so welcome and at home the whole time. The food was serviceable, but it was really Jon who made this a 10/10 experience. I’d 100% come again just to experience his service once more

Fadi has been great looking after our party group of ten and dealing with all the different requests. Great night, thanks and our friend Ross had a nice birthday surprise.

Came in for bottomless tapas (£15) as a group of 8. The kitchen had unfortunately run out of a lot of the dishes, but our server Carmen was so helpful and went above and beyond to make it a great night.

Cannot comment on the food as there are nearly no food option left for the 90mins tapas deal. Waited ages for the waiter to come lead our table (in their defence the place is really busy). However, when we were all excited for the food, the waiter told us that nearly everything's gone, if that's the case they should have told us before we sat down so we could think of other food options. Left disappointed as the main menu does not flatter us either. If they do not have enough food to cater the customers, maybe they should reconsider doing the 90mins tapas deal only in the afternoon. Really disappointing.

Went here to celebrate my nephews birthday recently and everything was great! Food, service, location and the cream on the top was the service! Fadi was amazing! He was fun, his service was outstanding. He even asked everyone to sing happy birthday for the bday boy. We had a great time. Thank you !

Unfortunately ruined our evening meal. We booked onto their January special of bottomless tapas at 7pm. We arrived and we're told that half the menu was sold out so all the best choices were gone. I was also told this happened some hours before so it shows that this location is not being managed correctly and they seem to be unaware how much stock to order despite being established at this location for many years. We made the effort to book ahead, come on time and come hungry as it's a bottomless offer and you can imagine the anticlimactic feeling after being told this. They didn't have any option for me other than "sorry" and so I felt that this added insult to injury. Now to spend unnecessary time to somewhere else to eat tonight....

Amazing January deal on the bottomless tapas and food - Julite was amazing!

Amazing bottomless tapas deal, I was pleased to see it didn't exclude the expensive items so included three plates of delicious gambas for us. Also included churros for dessert. Cocktail deals are aldo good and the mocktail non star martini was lovely. Service a little slow but they were busy and the waiter was very friendly and helpful, and apologised when there were delays from the kitchen.

Came here for my daughter's 21st and omg our server Evi was amazing. The most attentive service I have ever received, absolutely amazing. She really went above and beyond and I really hope the company understands what an amazing representative she is. Thank you Evi for making our visit so special

Well first of all a massive shout-out to waiter Fadi who was friendly, warm and professional. In fact once he realised it was my partner's birthday, he organised a round of applause for the birthday boy (who secretly loved it) and a free desert. Great customer service combined with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Thank you Los Iguanas. Can't wait to go back.

Warm welcome on arrival by floor manager despite having no booking. Fadi was our server and could not have been more helpful. He explained the menu, the cocktails and suggested which tapas dishes to choose. Consequently, the whole dining experience was great and I would certainly return to this restaurant when next in the area of South bank

My family and I went to this restaurant last minute as a small get together and the place was amazing! The food was phenomenal and the staff were incredibly attentive. I really want to give a shout out to Julita as she was our waitress for the evening and really made sure to give incredible service. Fadi was really nice as well and even offered to take pictures of my family and I. Overall I would definitely come back!

We were looking around the Southbank centre for a place to eat with good drinks. Stumbles kn las iguanas and their happy hour cocktails. We came in and we're immediately seated and served by Fadi. We had a wonderful time food and drinks were great and the service from Fadi was excellent. Always attentive and proactive. We would recommend the pink pink colada a new addition that was really great!

Very busy but still good for groups both inside and in the outdoor area. With a lot of drink and food options. The mango cocktails are delicious and worth to get a pitcher! Fadi was great! Fast and friendly

The location is really close to the London Eye and the Underground station, really convenient to get there. The restaurant has plenty of seating room and we were placed in a nice corner. We had tapas, nachos and seafood diabla - everything tasty and at the rigth level of spiciness. The 2 for 1 cocktails deal allows you to have two drinks (of the same type) at the price of one. The game changer however was Fadi’s excellent service. He was extremely kind to us, advised us on some dishes and was able to lighten the mood with jokes and he even took a photo of us in front of our food allowing us to have a memory of this dinner. Prices were just right and we really much enjoyed this place.

Sat quickly and drinks order taken promptly. Slow service after that, but realised they have a barcode to scan, so you can just use your phone to order and pay. Still slow service, though. Cocktails are great and very reasonably priced. I love a caipirinha. Not many places seem to do them in London, so I am sure I will be returning many times.

Generally ok but wouldn't rush back. Staff are friendly and the food is of good quality, place is clean and can cater for plenty. What I didn't like. Portion size is pretty small for the price and the service wasn't efficient. My chips came out cold and took another 10 minutes for a new lot to come out. Asked for sauces when food was served and also had to wait and excessive amount of time. Could have been a very good meal with some more care. I do think they were under staffed but they need to adjust this. Tip shouldn't be automatically added to the total either.

The food was nice but the place was lifeless. The service was just okay - we received our food pretty quickly, with a couple of mistakes - but no one came back to double check if everything was fine 🤷🏼‍♀️ our server disappeared for longer periods, so I had to ask someone else to bring some water, but she wasn't happy with my request. And at this point the restaurant wasn't busy. We love Las Iguanas, but will visit another site next time.

We were a group of 6 people and we were all absolutely thrilled :) Great waiters, great food and the quality too. Cocktails great! Price/performance is right. (Monday December 30th, 2024 approx. 8:30 p.m. without reservation, correspondingly many other guests in the restaurant, that also has to be mentioned positively)

We booked a table for our group of 10, the waitress was really friendly and patient with us, our orders were taken promptly, even for some friends who arrived late. All dishes were well presented and good value for money. I had the mixed calamari for starters, the chicken chimichanga for mains, and my partner had the mixed fajitas. All of our friends enjoyed their meals too. The churros were really nice too.

We went for our works Christmas meal and we had such a great time! The staff (Leo and 2 others) were super attentive and always there to grab drink orders which there were many 🤣 They were calm and collective while we worked out who ordered what with being so many of us and just made it a great experience
