Beautifully set half way down cliffs with an Swiss alpine feel and providing stunning views over the Channel. Food is straightforward and excellent value. We had a generous tuna salad, bowl of chips and cake (gluten free cake is nearly always available). It's a local favourite of ours - if you want the best chance of getting an outside table, try going at a slightly quiete time, after 2pm.

It was our first time at the cafe, it was a real pleasure lovely views to welcome you as well. The staff were lovely and the food was great. If I had any comment I would say that in any advertising they do it would be good to say cash is preferred, having said that they do accept card payments. Lovely day out will certainly go back.

Lovely quiet spot on the outskirts of Folkestone. Reachable by bike in 10 minutes. Nice and helpful groundskeeper. No gray water disposal station. Toilets and washrooms are clean but outdated. Therefore one point deducted. Nice coffee with a garden terrace with a very great view over the canal to France.

Plenty of space inside if the weather is worse than today! Google Maps listing for the cafe has the wrong postcode! Should be CT19 6PS (Swiss Way, off Wear Bay Road, Folkestone ) not CT20 1AE.

It has magnificent views looking over the English Channel and on a clear day you can see France. The car park is not very big, so if the place is busy and you get there and there's nowhere to park, turning around is a bit tricky. The hot drinks are a bit pricey compared to other places. The drinks are served in a small cup, which if you have big fingers, are not easy to pick up.☕. Can't comment on the food as I didn't have any, but it did look good.

Unfortunately the view is the only thing you have going for you! Sad to say we popped down this morning and wasn’t impressed unfortunately! The staff were not very welcoming! The breakfast was a bit of a joke I asked to have bread and butter instead of fried bread and was told that that would be a extra charge! So I loose a slice of bread to be charged extra to have a slice of bread! As you can’t swap things! I asked for half and half beans and tomatoes to be told they don’t do that I have to pay extra for beans. Then a Cup of tea is £2 😂🤦♂️ beans were freezing tea was Lukewarm! This came to £22.50 😮

This is a camping site. I daren't tell you how wonderfully far-reaching are the views to France. It's so near that even your phone thinks it's an hour later and that you're still connected in mutual friendship with Europe. You can curse Brexit and all the ensuing costly hassle as the nearby M20 backs up for miles with pitiful lorries trying to get through Dover.... Here it's quiet and the cafe is 'nice'. Can't possibly give away more, can already hear the stampede of campers approaching ....

This is a friendly, traditional cafe, with a decent capacity. Even if you arrive at a busy time and the outside tables are full, the view from inside is still great. It's a campsite so it's nice and rural. The downside is that it's only open 'in season'.

We stopped for lunch at the cafe because we were in search of BBQ. We tried the pork sliders, pimento cheese, whole trout, and smoked deviled eggs. The sliders were decent but without the smoke taste you would expect. The pimento cheese was OK We enjoyed the roasted red peppers but missed the olives we add at home. The trout was wonderful and served with onions and capers. I would recommend the trout.

Sign posted Little Switzerland from Wear Bay Road you follow the road under a small bridge and walk to the very end through the campsite, where you will find the cafe. The food is what you would expect, burgers, sausage bacon and eggs, chips and paninis. They have an alcohol licence to serve beer and wine along with soft drinks, tea and coffee. What makes this cafe special is the lawned space with tables and chairs in front of it. The views are breathtaking and from here you can see right over the sea to France and also The Warren shoreline to Samphire Hoe. On a warm sunny day it’s a lovely place to be and they also allow dogs in the garden area.

Visited the cafe las Friday. It was a pleasant day so thought we would go for a cooked breakfast. The tables and chairs are just basic plastic, there were no umbrellas out at all. No condiments on the tables or sugar for your drinks. We ordered at the counter inside. I had not realised that I had to ask for sugar at the time of requesting the drink as the staff have to put it in your cup and stir it for you! So had to return to the counter to request sugar. The Bacon and egg followed quickly. The first thing I had to do was cut an inch of white fat from the bacon, I do think bacon should at least have some evidence that it has been cooked. The sausages had been deep fried and had the usual tough skin. Frozen chips and beans accompanied it all. The bread and butter came from a thick sliced basic loaf of bread and the spread was certainly not butter. It looked like it had been painted on. When ordering you not only have to remember to ask for sugar in your drink but also to pick up cutlery and any sauces that you might want as they are all kept within close eye of the counter. I assume that the reason they are not on the tables is that the staff may think that the camp site would take them back to their tents!! All in all it could be much better than it is cos the views are amazing. There doesn’t seem to be much effort put in to ensure that your food is nice. All very basic and more like a transport cafe. The prices are not cheap either , which is not good when you are eating such poor quality food.

We were heading for a similar cafe further along at Capel-le-Ferne, but that was choc-a-bloc so, having noticed the Little Switzerland sign earlier, we headed there and we were not disappointed. The views, I think, are better; it was uncrowded; and dogs on leads are welcome. Even better there was a choice of two gluten free homemade cakes! Prices were reasonable. It was clean and the staff friendly.

We have walked past here several times but stopped today for a drink. It was really windy and we did chose to still sit outside with the lovely views but the inside is very nice and welcoming. Staff are friendly and there is plenty of choice at very reasonable prices. If you are not resident on the campsite you have to purchase food with alcoholic drinks because of the licensing laws. This wasn't a problem for us and we enjoyed a delicious paninii and an egg sandwich with a glass of rose and a beer. Service is good and we certainly will stop again when walking to the Warren.

Only stopped for a black coffee for myself and a large brandy for my lady. The woman who served managed to use polite language (please/thank you) but couldn't raise a smile and certainly didn't make us feel particularly welcomed, nor want to return. As a result, we didn't ask for food so I can't comment on this. The general atmosphere seemed pleasant enough, nothing special but no reason to comment negatively or positively particularly.
