Lobb Shack in North Devon

Just returned after a lovely stay with a friend . The campsite is in a great location with large pitches and stunning views from the middle field . The shower / toilet facilities were absolutely spotless , probably the cleanest i’ve ever been into on a campsite ! Loved the food wagons onsite , we had the caribbean and a waffle from the Waffle wagon and they were wonderful . We had a breakfast in a box from the Lobb Shack before we left , the lady told us she had recently opened it was absolutely delicious . Can’t wait to return hopefully later in the year .

The Lobb Shack is back, we had a stunning breakfast the Lobb Classic (although we forgot to take a photo of the toast) and a sausage, egg and hash brown roll. Really good quality food, excellent meat and a very soft roll. Very good value for money. 10/10 cannot wait for my next breakfast here!

As a vegetarian, I struggle to find a decent breakfast that isn’t the same old dry sausage passing off as meat. The Veggie Lobb was the best veggie breakfast bun I have had in a loooooong time. It was packed full of deliciousness! Coffee also excellent! We came both mornings that we were in Saunton and will definitely be returning for more…and more. Nom.

We came to the Lobb shack twice in a row for breakfast and it did not disappoint! The breakfast buns were amazing and very filling. I went for the Mexican XL with sausage, egg, avo, cheese, peppers and chipotle honey! On top of all that Biffen is a super friendly and passionate guy who helped us with our breakfast order. We will definitely head to the lobb shack when we’re back in Croyde!

Any amazing little find for breakfast before exploring the North Devon Coast. Friendly staff, excellent food!

It's great to have the lobb shack back open! I have the meat lobb which has crispy streaky bacon, sausage patty, egg and chilli jam!! Thank you for my morning coffee too. See you next time.

What a fantastic find for coeliacs and a wonderful addition to the great Lobbs Field campsite. The food was really tasty and Selena and Tim really went that extra mile to ensure there was no contamination. Brilliant for that early morning start bacon buttie or chilli and chips at the end of a long day on the beach. All 20 of us really enjoyed the food whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. Good prices too (they could charge a bit higher if I’d say) Gluten free, veg and vegan options as well as all the usual burgers. Best chicken burgers in the country!

We were staying at Lobb Fields and decided to eat from the Lobb Shack on the second night of our stay. The evening we chose was particularly busy and unfortunately they had run out of some of the menu options, I would advise getting there early to avoid dissapointment. However, there was still plenty to choose from and the food we were served was hot, freshly cooked and delicious

Lobb shack been taken over 1st visit things are just as good as before good food good prices and 2 very friendly owner's. During the course of the week both breakfasts and evening meals where tried. 1 small English and 1 large English Very well cooked all freshly cooked good sausages and decent bacon. Also can recommend the bacon sandwiches with extra egg and mushrooms. Main meals tried Beef burger and chips Chicken burger with home made garlic mayo and chips Scampi and chips Chilli and chips Yes all with chips but there are healthy options and if you ask gluten free bread and rolls but its hoilday so healthy off the menu The previous long term owner did great food and after eating there for 5 years I can say the new owners have done him proud good freshly cooked food and well priced for where it is on a camp site milk shakes and sweets also available for children

Full English Breakfast, Chilli with rice & chips, Scampi & chips, Chicken breast burger, beef burger & sausage/bacon sandwiches. All the food we had here was excellent and all freshly cooked to order (you may have to wait a while for it to be cooked) but worth the wait. Thank you Selina & Tim for providing our meals and saving us having to cook every day. And thank you Tim for cycling round the site with your ice creams :-)

Was going to just have chips here but could not resist 'Tonights Special' of Red Thai Chicken Curry. All freshly cooked while you wait and what an absolutely delicious meal it was for our first visit. Very well presented for a good price. Took my time eating it as every mouthful was so flavoursome I didn't want it to end. Within 10 minutes of the Shack opening, they had orders for 6 more Thai Curries which proves how good this little food shack is. Good menu choice at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back and recommend others to visit. I forgot my camera otherwise I would have taken photos. Cash and card are accepted.
