Lovely staff, super helpful with allergens. Had a coffee and some churros which was lovely.

The coffee is excellent and the staff friendly. Maddie in particular is such a kind, welcoming presence. She makes a mean flat white!

I cannot praise this boutique restaurant/ bar enough , the staff are so friendly and always happy to help , food is well priced and tasty

Regularly visit Loco Lounge Kings Heath! Foods always good, perfect for a soup on a cold day. Maddie usually serves us and we always find her friendly, helpful & welcoming 😊

The service was absolutely awful but the food was nice. It was supposed to be a lovely day and my birthday, however a member of staff called one of our party members a drunken. When our party member went and asked the barmen/barmaid about the situation he called the member “homophobic”. This left a bad taste in our mouths after having a lovely day and we won’t be coming back to this place. The servers sneered at us when we were sitting down and when we left also. Overall it ruined my birthday and was an awful experience!!! I’m not one to post bad reviews but this was so bad!

A staff member called a member of our party homophobic for complaining about being called “too intoxicated”. Rude staff but other than that lovely establishment.

Cannot recommend this enough to you. The Beef Brisket Chilli is fantastic, the Tapas options are plentiful, a great range of drinks and if you don’t order yourself some Onion Rings, you have no appreciation of life itself. The staff are the loveliest people on Earth and I wish I could dine here every damn night.

Our party of 6 ladies for lunch on Thursday 16th January was a huge success. Our food was promptly delivered (upstairs) by very pleasant and polite servers. We were asked about allergies before making our choices and enjoyed tapas and beef brisket chilli with excellent red wine. We followed that with coffee and a range of desserts. Everything was very tasty and reasonablly priced. Thanks to all staff at Loco Lounge.

Love Loco Lounge and end up in there a lot. Something for everyone on the menu and really friendly staff. We were served by the girl with the green hair today who was brilliant. Great coffee too!

The food, the coffee, the drinks, the brunch, the staff & the atmosphere are all excellent here! Even welcome our Frenchie! Where water & treats are provided (even puppacinos) i have been here daytime & evenings a few times, cannot fault them or their service!

I've been going to Loco Lounge for many years as a local resident and it's had its ups and downs over the years from my perspective. There have been occasions where I've had great meals and occasions when it's been just okay, but I've never had a terrible time here. For what it's worth, I think the relatively recent redecoration has really improved the atmosphere. I most recently visited on Christmas Eve for brunch with friends and we had a lovely time. I had the beetroot and feta flatbread and it was the nicest thing I've eaten out in a venue in a few months. A friend of mine had the aubergine flatbread and she said it was great, and I was jealous that mine wasn't generously covered in dill like hers was! I'll have to come back to try it soon. The staff here are always friendly and helpful, and I haven't got a bad word to say about them. They seem to like working at Loco which is always a positive thing to see! Also it's worth noting that Loco Lounge is a mobility-accessible venue with a ramp at the entrance and an accessible loo. For what it's worth I think the double doors at the entrance could do with an automatic open button as one door open by itself isn't wide enough for an electric wheelchair, and are a little heavy/awkward for anyone who might use a mobility aid such as crutches / a walker / a stick. One thing I've always admired about the Lounges franchise is that they have a separate vegan menu available for clarity, and that you have the choice to order via QR or at the bar. I've been to 5 or 6 different Lounges venues and they have always been consistent in what they deliver. I also like the casual but elegant feeling of the Lounges, which bridge the gap well between a place that's suitable for meeting for coffee, dining with family and friends and even going for a meal with a significant other. I'll be back soon!

Wonderful service, good food and nice atmosphere.

The food was stunning. Coffee was stubbing. The atmosphere was so cosy and a genuine vibe. The staff were lovely which is the cherry on top. First time at the loco lounge, will definitely be returning! Keep up the amazing work guys, you’re unreal.

Lovely food, lots of different dishes on the menu. Relaxing atmosphere, definitely recommend going. The buttermilk chicken is great.

Customer service almost non existent, not very helpful food not so tasty.cutlery dirty and when we complained we got a dirty look and 2 staff whispering whilst looking over at us. Went there twice but will not go again as there are more and better places.

Vine hoy aquí con mi amigo para un almuerzo tarde antes de ir a un evento en la Heath Book Shop. ¿Qué puedo decir? Absolutamente fantástico. Comida fácil de pedir vía QR. Tenía el pan plano de cordero y oh Dios mío, estaba tan sabroso. Prosecco ordenó celebrar la buena salud. Gran menú, fabulosa selección de bebidas y una decoración brillante. Estoy ligeramente enamorado de Kings Heath Creo que voy a volver pronto y no voy a perder aquí!

Edit - still somewhere we visit a year on and it is still fantastic, child friendly with space, little menus to colour in and the staff are always friendly. When I come without my little one I like to sit upstairs also as it's very relaxed and an ideal spot for a cosy coffee catch up with a friend. Very child friendly brought our ten month old here for his first meal out and the staff were great with him. Plenty of space for push chairs and high chairs available. Only issue was the tables are quite high so our little one looked a little low down, but he coped fine!

The Lounge eggs with spinach and mushrooms was a tasty dish. Service was speedy and friendly.

We visit Loco quite often. Food is always great. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Lots of choices for food and drinks which also accommodate allergies and preferences. Lovely place!

Lovely atmosphere, the decor and lightibg are wonderful. Great veggie and vegan options and they are also dog friendly so what not to love! Definitely recommend

All of these Lounges seem to be basically the same. Which is usually why we go there when we do.

This is a great place and the food is oh so tasty, but how can you charge £16 for a burger and be so mean with the fries? Fries cost next to nothing, There should be at least double the amount of fries on the plate.

Miami brunch was fabulous 😋! Excellent place, great friendly service & good vegetarian & vegan options.

My favourite little spot!! Extensive gluten free and vegan menus, so many options. Me and my friends love to come here because the food is delicious and with so many options there’s something for everyone! Staff are also very lovely and helpful, and the self serve water is also very handy.

Always fantastic food - especially if you have dietary requirements. The gluten free menu is amazing and fully coeliac friendly - which is why we go. Daughter gets fed up with only having a few options but pretty much the entire menu can be adapted! For some reason it can be a bit loud at times. Something about the acoustics of the place seem to amplify the talk noise levels? Friendly staff. Parking over the road (paid) but I normally get a place without a problem.

4 of us at the bar and at 22:17 hrs on Sat 20th July having already had a drink. We were informed by the polite barman Andy that is was last orders. I replied that I didn't want another drink then as I considered that to be far to early for a business on a high St. andvwas expecting an evening out. The duty manager stepped in and asked me what was wrong and confirmed it was last orders. I asked what time are you open till and her reply was 11pm. I asked then why are last orders at 22:17 and her reply was because it is out by 11pm and not serve till. You advertise on your website that you have an 11pm bar. Could you please make this clear on your website so as not to confuse the few guests that might be there in future. It won't affect me as I won't be returning.

Do like this chain of cosy & stylish lounges. Their chicken, bacon & avocado salad never disappoints. The service was fast & there was a relaxed atmosphere. Parking nearby, across the street mostly.

Lovely place to eat. Food, service and atmosphere all great. The only thing letting this place down is the tiny portions. I ordered the nasi goreng which was lovely but deceptively small. It was more like a starter.

We had two vegetarian breakfast yesterday a few hours later both of our stomachs were aching and grumbling. We were both rushing to the loo later that day and today. I think we had mild food poisoning either from the egg or the fritters . usually never have any problems as the food here is usual delicious.

Popped in after a long walk, haven’t been in for a while but decided to have my mom’s favourite instead of my usual big lounge breakfast. Absolutely amazing and so much flavour. Very filling for a salad bowl and the best I’ve had for ages. Staff are always smiling and friendly. Thank you

Beautiful deco. We like the choose your own table & order and pay at the bar when ready. The gluten-free & vegan menus were so good it was hard to choose a dish! Also like that you can order from the brunch menu all day. Our food was delicious! The bang bang cauliflower I think was the best Ive ever had.. Amazing customer service from friendly and efficient staff. Will defo be visiting again for a breakfast :)

Well run chain, friendly staff but it's hard to get away from the fact it's very over priced for what it is (both the beer and food). Sort of place I'd go on occasion with kids but would very much stay clear of otherwise!

We love this place. Food isn't going to win awards but it's tasty and consistent. The staff are fantastic. So helpful amd attentive...service is speedy. Its perfect for kids. Kids menu varied and it comes quickly so you don't have to fear the hungry child. They get a free lil pot of hummus n breadsticks soon as they arrive. This week we paid for a kids dessert on the app but was for a baby so asked for just one scoop of ice cream. They refunded us the desert saying we shouldn't have to pay for just one scoop. Really kind.

This place is lovely inside and the atmosphere was nice. The food is overpriced and a bit pretentious though. If you have the halloumi burger you'll struggle to find the 'roasted red peppers and chilli jam' as it's such a scant amount. Paid an upgrade for the sweet potato fries but again you don't get many. Tasted nice but disappointing overall. From what I saw all the servings are very small. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean.

Recently went to the Loco Lounge for a breakfast with my mate Baz for the first time. Very popular place, good choice of food, service & atmosphere. Recommend it.

It's a lovely eatery, staff are lovely. KH branch is starting to look a tad tired...

Went with friends and their little boy. Service was excellent straight away as we were advised to go upstairs and found a comfy sofa to sit on (5 of us in total). Ordered via the app and drinks came pretty quickly. Wine was well received, I wasn't that keen on the menabrea draught, bartenders in this country just don't seem to realise a decent lager needs a head on it. It came pretty flat but it was ok. The cruzcampo was the same (but I don't think it's a great lager anyway). Chips we ordered as a snack were nice, very small portions though. Fair value for money, but the service was excellent throughout, the two lads who brought our drinks and food were friendly and welcoming and that makes up for the pretty poor lager serves! We always go to a lounge when we're out and about and would definitely return here when back in Birmingham.

Me and my sister ate here earlier today as another restaurant we planned to eat in was closed. We got two main meals and two drinks and for £33 it wasn't worth the money at all. The portion sizes were very small and didn't fill us up. We enjoyed the curry (which there definitely wasn't enough of for £13) however my sister had the wrong food order brought out to her (which was fixed after 10 mins) and when the new plate was brought out the chicken in the 'bang bang' noodle dish was extremely plain and tough. The place had a nice atmosphere but I don't think we will be returning especially with the price points of everything.

Great place to eat in Kings Heath! We went on Mother’s day and the place was at full capacity. As usual, the team working were fantastic. Food and drinks arrived as quick as they usually do on less busy days and not one team member came across as flustered/stressed with the increased volume of orders! Such a pleasant experience and the Bloody Mary made (off menu) by the lovely lady taking orders at the bar was PHENOMENAL!! Thanks guys ☺️

Great choice of beers. We all enjoyed our meals. I had the chilli which was arguably the best I have ever had. Annual visit for the pulled brisket chilli and then sticky toffee pudding. 10 out of 10. Really quirky cafe bar but I find it to my taste.

What a brilliant afternoon, it was my mom's birthday the staff absolutely brilliant, they looked after us from the start to finish I can't say anymore but I can highly recommend this restaurant please try and go you won't be disappointed and the food was wonderful tasty , just want to say thankyou again 👍😊

Large choice of food and drinks made this a good choice to meet up with friends with different dietary requirements. Spacious, relaxing space and very friendly staff created a pleasant dining experience.

Loco Lounge is a really welcoming place for families to go to. The staff that work there are an absolute credit to the company. I am in here regularly with my daughter and family and friends usually with children with them also. The staff go out of the way to make us feel welcome. Two incidents which stand out are when I left behind a piece of toddler cutlery, a member of staff chased me all the way back down the high street to return it and today when they saw that my daughter had a birthday card as it was her birthday yesterday they brought her over some chocolate ice cream for her for free. The food and drink is also really good quality as well.

My daughter is a coeliac so we chose the Loco Lounge for the large range of gluten free options and we weren't disappointed. The options were brilliant and the food was exceptional. What I was impressed with was the level of service from the female member of staff who also has similar allergies. She took time to advise us of our options as well as other places in Birmingham who cater for coeliacs. Would highly recommend and we will be back

Decent place to eat....I went at lunchtime, it was very busy . I think they were shortstaffed because we had to remove the previous customers empty plates from the table . Can use the QR code at your table to order food which was handy. Food was tasty and I ate everything and so did my guests .

Everything just perfect. The friendly girl with glasses who bought our food, the nice man on the bar who seems to be in charge, so very friendly and welcoming. The carrot and coriander soup was just to die for! If you are considering the “afternoon deal” of the soup and half a panini, don’t hesitate! And the Mac cheese just great. Thanks for a lovely meal

Had a gorgeous shakshuka here just before Christmas. Marked down on 'Service' as one of the utensils was dirty but quickly remedied which is a plus.

Went here with my Mom and Cousin for Brunch on my Birthday and I loved it! Food was great and there's multiple Vegitarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options too! The atmosphere was nice (Plus you can bring dogs! 😄) and the service was good too! Got a free birthday mock tail which was really nice of the staff to give me! Wish it was a bit closer to home though so I could go more often 😭😂 Would definitely come back again! 😄

Lovely inclusive eatery with plenty of options, I paid a visit for our birthdays with my sister, who is vegan, and was impressed by the variety of vegan choices. Had a cheeseburger which was amazing and sticky toffee pudding which was the best id ever tasted. Couldnt fault the staff, all friendly and attentive. Lovely chilled atmosphere. All in all, a lovely dining experience

Just happened to be walking past and I was hungry. Wasn’t really expecting much but the food was so nice! The staff were Uber friendly too. Great service.

Opted to eat here as there’s usually space at this big chain. Also food is pretty consistent and expected the overall good standards across the lounges. First time branching at this Kings Heath location. Never knew there was an upstairs area with a secret garden too. Brighter than gloomy downstairs. The only small -1*…no self service drinking water was available upstairs

We had tapas for the first time at loco lounge and it was all fabulous. We will definitely be back for more soon. Brilliant staff as always. Very funky decoration upstairs too xxx

Dropped into the Loco recently and lent my support to their Macmillan charity appeal. The Halloween-themed biscuits were a firm and tasty treat, the staff were in a jolly mood, and it was nice to have a friendly chat with some of them. The overall atmosphere in the Loco was lively and good-natured, as always. I have an extremely stressful job and I value the calming ambiance of the Loco Lounge. 2023 is my sober year. Boo! Can’t wait until 2024 so I can sample the new beers that have recently arrived. Until then, I’m on the Coke.

Myself and my partner dropped in on our way home, and were suprised to find the beginings of a pub quiz! Very unexpected for an impulsive monday pit-stop, but a great experience regardless. We were made to feel welcome and involved by our quiz master Maddie, and had a wonderful time with a couple of equally wonderful drinks, two of which were free as we won the kitty! We'll be back for the next one a little more prepared with our general knowledge.
