Great place, great people and a great landlady

Beautiful period surroundings , let down by low standards of everything else ! Coffee's were not sufficiently hot enough , & on complaining a waitress seemed somewhat puzzled as to how best to remedy the situation ! The food offerings faired worse , after ordering 'fish-finger' sandwiches , we were dismayed to find , the fish-finger ultra slim (approx 1/4 inch) with a 'dark' filling , on canteen style bread (pre-packed sliced ) , a reasonably tasty salad & tartare sauce accompanied ! I presented these facts to 'the manager' , he laughed & said , well you have eaten it all ! I replied I didn't say it was inedible , but very sub-standard, after trying to appease with 'cakes' I accepted a 50% reduction ! All in all our worst dining experience !

Best mixed grill I’ve had in a long time. Partner had the Posh fish and chips which was also very good. Had a cozy spot by the fireplace (which was well needed as our boiler was not working)…we didn’t want to leave lol. Main meals were also half price. Defo will visit again.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here today as part of a big group. Great service from Billy & Grant! Really good food and generous portions.

Boda reservado aquí con el director anterior que era muy servicial. Desde este administrador de izquierda que no han podido contactar con nadie sobre la recepción. Intenté contactarme vía tantas rutas sin éxito. Personal no parece en absoluto molesta, pero también parecen ser incapaces de contactar con el director o saber donde él o cuando la siguiente. Ya encontré un anuncio para la venta de la propiedad.
