Very rude staff. I was in here with my wife at Christmas and when me and my wife was talking the lady came over and told us to keep the noise down which I found very strange, gave it another go on Mother’s Day and the exact same thing happened, really cant work out what the lady’s problem is will not be returning

I was expecting more character. Food was as good as takeaways. This place has been here for a long time but needs a refresh.

Tasty food in a restaurant not a hotel near the airport. Friendly staff. Quiet Sunday night but food was good. Can recommend the wonton soup and noodles and the beef noodle soup.

I went here because I really wanted to eat while staying at a hotel near the airport. Must order more than 10 pounds per person The atmosphere is nice and the food comes out quickly. The fried rice and soup are decent.

I have eaten in Chinese restaurants all over the world. Despite the bad reviews I took a chance on a short layover. Bad decision! I would never eat here ever again! The place is super run down, and the food is horrendous. The shrimp in the Singapore noodles were from a can. I asked for some hot sauce and was charged 3 pounds? Go Indian on the strip or go into the city for proper Chinese.

Food was good , average id say , not too good , not too bad. There was only 2 of us, and we spent £96 I was very shocked as to how we spent so much. When I asked for the bill the lady said it was a written in Chinese. I asked her to explain and it still only added upto £75 so I’m not sure where the other £20 went. This restaurant is a scam. Please be aware before going. The food is good don’t get me wrong , but if you wanna get scammed. Be my guest

This restaurant was such a good find. The food was authentic and tasty. Didn’t really understand why it had such a low review. The food came quickly and was of good standard. It also served Dim Sum even in the evening which was an added bonus. The main lady manager was polite and helpful. Suppose the rest of the staff were a bit rude but we mainly dealt with the manager so had no issues. Prices were what I would expect from a restaurant of this standard. The manager itemised the bill to each individual, so it was so easy to pay separately at the end, which was really kind of her. We were at a West Coast Swing event at the Thistle Hotel. Where the food was expensive, disgusting and gave me a stomach ache. So I was so grateful to find this restaurant just a short walk away. We came here both nights for dinner.

Enjoyed this meal, it's not traditional chinese, although they have some in their speciality section, but it's solid food for the airport crowd. Chicken Sweet Corn soup, salt fish fried rice, lamb with spring onion, they were all good. We came and visited twice over the weekend and enjoyed it both times. Will very likely make it a regular thing when we are staying over at Heathrow.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely people and great food. Would recommend going here before catching a flight from Heathrow or if you are near Premier inn in the location. 10/10 restaurant will be going again in the future.

Thrilled to find this place a short walk from the hotel and they are also available on Uber for pickup or delivery. Considering the location right next to the airport I was very pleasantly surprised with the food quality - definitely satisfied a craving after a week of travelling in Europe. Had the BBQ pork on rice (char siu fan) as well as mixed veggies and the salt and pepper squid. A bit pricey but again given the location, overall very happy with the meal.

Good food but rice portion was really small. I've read elsewhere that this seems to be an issue with this particular establishment. Service was friendly and with a smile. They were very attentive. My other qualms are that the restaurant doesn't provide an itemised bill at the end, the 10% service charge is set out in such a way that it appears completely mandatory, other things which were slightly off putting were the expectations for a £10 minimum food spend per person excluding drink. Also it is a bit cheeky to charge for chilli oil but hey-ho. Despite all of this I would return back because of the tasty food which catered to veg and non veg diets, and good service. I dined in and enjoyed my Crab and sweetcorn soup, similar to what I was used to when I lived in the far east of Asia. My beef with ginger and spring onion was good too. I will return again.

You should never leave a restaurant still hungry. This restaurant is extremely over priced with extremely small dishes. There should be a reference on the menu to indicate portion sizes. The food is a nice is standard chinese takeaway without the traditional large portions.

Excellent food and service. Endless Chinese tea, good range of dim sum and a menu that should serve for the most discerning palate. The hot and sour soup and special fried rice are particularly good. And considering where it is, the prices are reasonable. Thoroughly recommend a visit!

Worst Chinese food my family and I have ever tried. Super hungry coming from the airport so decided to stop here. Service was bad, very unwelcoming and rude. The food we got was clearly precooked/pre-freezed and this was evident in the unfresh taste of the food. We tried sending the food back as some of the dishes were literally cold inside but was met with rudeness from the waitress.

Update. They no longer do crispy belly pork, and they didn't have our favorite Chinese rice wine. Service was just as abrupt as before. _-----_- Such an unassuming place, until you try the food. Crispy belly pork, pork ribs, beef with bamboo shoots and mushrooms etc etc.

Authentic Cantonese food rival the best in London Chinatown. Extensive menu with reasonable prices and good service. Although the portion of the dishes is not the North American standard, it is more generous than most Chinese restaurants in UK.

Very rude and racist towards Indian or any other Asian background. I went to this place after work to eat and parked my car in the parking bay and waited around 3-5 mins for my colleague to arrive and dine in. Instead a lady come out the restaurant and came to my car asked if I was going to dine in or not in a rude manner and tells me off to park properly which I did. At the end I didn’t feel like dining there and left the place. Not sure if the food is good or not but definitely service is 0.

Lovely food and a good menu to choose from. A huge restaurant and very authentic. We had visited years ago when staying near Heathrow. Worried about our return due to mixed reviews but I have to say the food was fantastic. The host and staff were welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Ok it’s not the cheapest place to eat but if the food is good then no complaints. Would recommend and say don’t be put off by some of the reviews.

I must say, this place is the bomb! I went here with some work lot and we all loved it. The service is on great, the staff were super friendly, and the food is sooo good!! I’ll definitely be back! If you're looking for a chill spot with great vibes and delicious eats, this place is where it's at

London Hong Kong is a gem! Their dumplings are simply divine, and the fried rice is a must-try. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff that make you feel right at home. The food is not only delicious but also prepared with great attention to hygiene. A definite go-to spot for a delightful Chinese dining experience!

Absolutely disgusting RACIST behaviour I witnessed here with my family. From the get go we felt a bad vibe as they told us not to park in that parking space and to park at the back. Then when we entered the restaurant, they placed us at a table and left us there without even making eye contact. They served everyone else that came after us and completely ignored us. I called the waitress over and she refused to serve us. I’m an Asian with a black family in law (all British citizens) and my heart breaks for what I witnessed. We got up and left. They ruined the evening as my niece and nephew were excited to use chopsticks!

This restaurant is RACIST. Please stay away if you are anyone of color. Me, my Asian wife and my family (all born British citizens) went to this restaurant. From the moment we entered the car park we were ambushed by servers from inside that told us to park around the back. We didn’t think anything by it at first. We entered inside to no smiles only side eyes. We weren’t even seated but we found seats ourselves. After about 30 mins of watching other people get served who came after us while the servers dodged us and side eyed us we got up and left. While we were leaving no one said anything to us at all. It was very embarrassing.. they ruined my little niece and nephews evenings as they were so excited to use the chopsticks. Very disgusting and disappointing behavior.

I have been there seat down for dinner and about five tables was served before me and my family and NO ONE COMES TO US so we just get up and left NO ONE said anything like they were smiling.Before we even park the lady attacked us never go there again.

This restaurant was really racist and cruel, my family came in the restaurant and was waiting for Half an hour mind we are black and they ignored us didn't even look at us I'm 11 years old and will remember this horrible moment for the rest of my life. I was very excited to try this restaurant and try a different culture like using the chopsticks but didn't get the chance just wasted my family's time.

We have been coming to this restaurant for quite a while. The dishes are made from good quality produce and are very tasty. The staff are excellent and the food is consistently good every time we visit. This place makes great tasting dishes as a good as, and if not better than, some eminent/well known restaurants in Central London.

As a Malaysian, the Penang Hor Fun was not what I was expecting

Tried this place as not too far from where we live. Always drive passed it. Pricey but well worth it. Staff fantastic. There wasnt many people here but that didnt matter as guess. It added to being like we were exclusive there. Would i come again. Absolutely when funds available. It was £100 for both. I guess not bad as we shared starter, main meal, dessert and one alchoholic drink.

We were staying at the Premier Inn Terminal 5 (reviewed by me separately) and went out for lunch. A couple of police officers in a patrol car recommended Hong Kong London to us, so off we went, and it was well worthwhile!! W started off with Sweet Corn & Chicken Soup and Hot & Sour Soup. Both were great. We then shared Pork 7 Crab Dumplings, Mixed Meat Crispy Fried Noodles, Black Pepper Steak and Egg Fried Rice. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious!! The food went down well with a few bottles of Tsing Tao Beer. Excellent Restaurant!! Great Chinese Food!!

This restaurant has become a scam! They charge a lot of money for very little food served on small plates. Does the owner really think their customers are fools? The business still stands only because it is the only Chinese restaurant near Heathrow.

I don't want to give stars for the service at this store. There was a very rude middle-aged and elderly staff member in black (I think she was probably Chinese) who was very rude (I think to Asian people, including Japanese people), and I felt very uncomfortable. Not recommended for Asians except Chinese, if you don't want to have an unpleasant experience while traveling. The taste of the food was so-so. No star is best for evaluating the service by this Chinese restaurant. A staff was so impolite, probably for asian people. I really won't recommend this restaurant for asian people if you don't want to be unpleasantly. Food was not so treated bad.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever had! Peking duck was so juicy, morning glory veggies perfectly cooked and beef chow fun excellent. We asked for less salty and it was perfect. Friendly and polite staff. It is an upscale Chinese restaurant and worth every penny. The bad reviews are ridiculous… undeserved and from people looking for cheap Chinese takeout.

OK the quality of the food was excellent but was over shadowed by the severely small portions and massive prices. The duck and pork feast was over £25.00 and contained about 20 pieces of meat. The dim sum came in portions of 3 and not 4. Unfortunately, this gets a thumbs down from me and I won't be recommending it unless you have very deep pockets.

Staying at the Thistle overnight and tried this over the Indian. Should have stuck with the Indian as despite asking for it to be as spicy as they could it all came all very bland. It was also a little expensive for what we had but it is Heathrow after all. Would not rush back

I was staying at the Sheraton and was curious about the mixed reviews but drawn by the menu. I was greeted in a very friendly manner. I was not rushed at all. The waitress made some helpful suggestions, I did in no way feel pressured. The service was timely and the food was excellent. I will definitely dine there again the next time I stay at the Sheraton.

The service was wonderful and the staff members were lovely. The food was good but overpriced. The sweet and sour prawn was disappointing as the prawns weren’t freshly battered. But we enjoyed the beef hofun and dimsum!

The food really was awful, we had to send back some items because they weren’t cooked properly. The chicken was cold inside so clearly precooked and not reheated properly. For £150 for 2 adults and teenager and not even decent food it’s not only just terrible but daylight robbery.

Food wasn’t nice at all, undercooked tofu batter that was sticky and soggy and hofun has no flavour, portion size terrible and salt and chilly chip is not chips, it’s fries…

Ate battered squeeds, salt and pepper ribbs, pork belly, so good, prawn toast (small and had not sauce, but great), beef with Chinese mushrooms and bamboo, all really good, ah! and special fried rice, not bad. Don’t bother! You get better tasting food & portion sizes from takeout places such as Oriental style in Heston. Seems like they placed most of their capital into the aesthetics of the place as food lacked everything possible from flavour to texture. The price of what you pay for definitely doesn’t add up. Overpriced. Been twice in my life, never again.

Tonight I had the most appalling dinner experience of my entire life and in the UK!!!! I was with a group of investors all from African countries including myself even if I have very light skin tone. I have to say this like it happened. We were four and as the other 2 colleagues sat down, the older chinese lady waitress showed visible discontent for the amount of time taken to place the orders which was really 5 mins then left our table upset without saying anything. Then comes this Chinese waiter guy immediately as if to speed things up, and who to Brits standards was plain Rude to my colleagues. He kept urging us to order. When asked about the wine selection, he kept mentioning that she had to order the bottle as if ordering a wine glass never existed before. My colleague asked to remove the chicken from the rice for more eggs as she does not eat chicken, but the owner/waiter obsessed about the effort that it will take them to do this, plus the fact that it will cost her more, and that the portion will stay the same, despite my colleague repeatedly explaining that this is what she wants no matter the cost. This conversation went on for a solid 5mins. //Somehow, the complex and rocket science information did not sink in a typical Chinese brain I guess and my colleague just gave up as he kept insisting//. Then back is the Chinese lady, who abruptly announces that there was a charge of £40/table or £10/person when one of the ladies decided not to place any food order but would have drinks. This was never shared with us before sitting down. This is written no where. When one of us challenged it, she tried to show us a small print on the menu which do not reflect at all the sudden made up rule. I felt more than uncomfortable. They made us feel unwanted, and made it so difficult for us to place orders. I felt sorry for my colleagues for being treated so poorly and unfairly. I was shocked. I was appalled. I had no words. We decided to cancel the orders and leave. I realised that no matter the discrimination I possibly have faced before was nothing in comparison to what black people face and here especially by the Chinese people in the UK who think of themselves as superior to African people. I say this factually as I was treated differently when I went to this exact same restaurant the night before and on my own. Trying to order a meal tonight was excruciatingly painful. Shame on you! Look at yourself in the mirror and let me remind you that you are immigrants too, not white, working shifts and serving people. If you cannot intergrate properly into the UKs culture, have manners, learn simple English, and can't handle multicoloured customers, go back to your beautiful China!! Also the portions are tiny, you are served in a small plate so you don't realise that the portions are smaller, and the price is too expensive for what you get. When my food arrived the previous day, I thought that i ordered the wrong meal or that they gave me a lunch menu or kid's meal. All in all don't waste your time or money there.

Bad service and lack of respect for customers. We were having a meal and the annoying woman kept telling my son NOT TO MAKE NOISE and NOT TO TOUCH ANYTHING. We had to constantly stop eating and talk to our children. But what can we do when children under 3 years old want to run and play? And that woman was rude, unpleasant, and didn't like my son walking around. And that continuously repeated 7-8 times. And our meal was ruined. It's a shame that they live in a country where children come first. I live nearby and I will definitely tell my friends, colleagues, and relatives NOT TO COME HERE.

The satay prawn skewers only had 1 prawn on each , none of the boxes were full , for the price there charging I expect more than that £77 for a take away !

Noodles are fine but Dim Sum are terrible. All dim sum are from frozen food from supermarket. Dont waste your money.

Great big place near the airport. Good if you stop or have a work event in the area. The place is fine, but the food was a bit bland and surely not the cheapest (possibly I'm a bit spoiled from my locals takeaway) and the interior a bit basic and outdated.

Lovely food, handy location and a wonderful waiter. Highly recommend the chicken and yellow bean sauce and the beef in black bean. The decor is outdated and the carpet / toilets have definitely seen better days. A lovely relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal and not feel rushed. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I don't think it's worth trying again. The food is regular, and nothing really stands out. Many dishes taste the same, and the service is ordinary. They also ask for a down payment, but the final price doesn't feel right for what you've had.

The food is average, however when you pay it’s already included 10% tip. They don’t tell you unless you mention it because the card machine will still ask for more tip. Some of their food is misleading. For example you order something stuff mushroom yet it doesn’t state it has shrimp what if you’re allergic? Staff here don’t smile? Overprice and the portions are too small. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all!! Avoid at all cost!

Went for a take away …greeted by firstly a lady who pointed to where to go for takeaway ….no good evening or welcome . Young gentleman took order “what do you want?” As if I was in the way His attitude was very abrupt . Food came quick ..price was £25.50 For sweet n sour prawns prawn crackers ….far too expensive for the smallest portion ..I won’t be going back & truly hope you won’t either

Over price and no legitimate receipt. I order 2 dishes and a chilli oil with my food. The bill came in total charge with no itemises. When asked for the proper receipt, they did not have any. They wrote the receipt for me when I persisted. Chilli oil costs £2 ! I was also charged for 10% service charge. The staffs was not nice either. They were rude and were not pleasant! It was a shame I did not read the review before. Might have to report to the tax man …

I wish I could give zero stars to this restaurant. If you want to be treated with some serious disrespect, non tasty food, worst service, then please absolutely visit this place. The owner will tell you right away on the face that she doesn’t need good reviews. She will tell you that there is a minimum that you will have to meet to even at this eatery. If you don’t meet the minimum, she will automatically charge you 10 pounds.

Hi guys. Get experience in this place. Came in the and in the shift around nine o'clock and ask to provide me one of the best on their choice. The lady been tryid to be nicely. After came some man and started shauted, he started even shaking and he was in my filled ready to fight. I'm in shock about costomer service. Good experience. Just lunch... Be careful.

I ordered roasted duck but I got both roasted duck and boiled duck and all I got were bones. also it was not done yet. Overall it was a bad experience.

My recent visit to this restaurant left me quite disappointed. I had fond memories from my initial visit with colleagues, but this time, the experience was far from satisfying. It's evident that the nearby airport may have affected their business, but that's no excuse for unprofessional service and terrible hospitality. I decided to bring my family and my brother, who flew in from another country, to share what I thought was a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, it was anything but that. The service was subpar, and the staff's attitude left much to be desired. We felt ignored and neglected throughout our meal, which was disheartening given the significance of the occasion. It's unfortunate when an establishment fails to meet expectations, especially when you've had a positive experience there in the past. I hope the restaurant can take this feedback as an opportunity to improve. With a more customer-centric approach and a focus on delivering quality service, they have the potential to regain the trust and patronage of diners. I'd love to see this place return to the standard I had once appreciated.

There is a McDonalds close by. I’d recommend you go there. Better food, better value, better service. And that’s saying something!
