Lucky Star in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Food came quickly, take away, I got Beef Satay and egg fried rice. It was awful. Rice was like those microwave packet rice not fresh, beef satay was watery, lacked flavour and substance. I t came quickly so I guess it was all microwaved from packaged frozen product. Not what I expect from a Chinese take away otherwise I would just go to Iceland or Asda etc and pay half the price. Felt cheated.

ordered last night for myself. never been so ill in my entire life! beef chowmein was definitely reheated. obviously not even done properly as ive been spewing my guts up since! cant even get my money back either!!

Absolutely disgusting food totally wrong order food was cold when confront the women was very rude shouting abuse at me and swearing at me needs shutting down never ever ever again DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Got to be the worse Chinese in hull had to wait 3 hours then I rung them and there said it be 30 minutes because there was busy it a complete mess don’t use I’ll be staying away from that dump

Been in for my usual Friday gravy and chips. Noone to serve me. Heard someone eating behind the stand and saw a lady prepping some chicken. After a minute or so the lady who serves on the counter came through looked at me and carried on putting some food and water into a cooking item she was using. Fair enough she's busy. Once she finished she went in the back again and come back to the front. Looked at me and then leant against the work top next to the other lady prepping chicken and completely ignored the fact I was patiently still waiting there for quite a few minutes now, at this point still no effort to serve me so I picked up my belongings off the counter and walked out. The same lady served me the wrong food a few weeks ago and I'm wandering if her attitude was my punishment for complaining previous. She's not the nicest politest person anyway so no skin off my nose but you have just lost yourselves a customer because i felt almost invisible 😳

Food was cold want happy at all

Ordered the beef fried rice, about half way through I thought I had a piece of bone in my mouth until I pulled it out and seen what it was, it looks like a piece of barbed wire or something of the sort. Never again will we be ordering from there.

Was very late and came a bit cold was quite disappointed as was very hungry.

When paying nearly £25 for a meal, it's incredibly disappointing when it turns up almost an hour late and stone cold.

new deal, 10% off selected items. Chips £3 now £3.33 so £3 . Another just eat hike. food was cooked when ordered and delivered cold an hour later. I order weekly, shocking. Another refund off just eat and paypal

I've given good as we was missing our sweet and sour sauce this is the second time this as happened to us from this company

portions definitely getting smaller and tubs of sauce (Curry etc) no more then enough to cover half a dozen chips

I have dined through 'Lucky Star' for a long time now. I have always had lovely tasty hot food.. brilliant service and on the odd occasion it has been late, I have had good communication. So I am one happy bunny.🤗🤗

Don’t put estimated time of delivery if you cannot make it! I Create an order then wait for an hour to deliver. You didn’t even put tracking on your delivery man!! You put delivered when I haven’t receive the food!! Told me to wait another 10 mins only to know when i rang after 10mins that they lost the ticket and cook the food again!! So i waited another 20mins. Don’t be on the apps service if you can’t keep a good service. It only be disappointment and made people annoyed.

probably the last time I order via just eat from Lucky Star, more than double service charge and Luke warm food. Delivery is now shocking. Go in order and collect if you can

Food was good service was good guy was nice but he didnt give me some of my change i passed him a 20 and spent 3.70 on a white rice and curry sauce and he only passed me a 10 and 2.20 change just over a fiver change i got robbed hope we can resolve this on day

first and last time I will order from here, the rice was cold, some of the chicken balls were burnt I didn't get the sweet and sour sauce with the chicken balls but I got cold chips that I didn't order, and the foo yung well my partners just been throwing up, so yea never will I order from here again

Food never turned up and they said they knocked on the door but I live in a flat with a buzzer and a communal door so I would have no chance in hearing the knock on the door

food was really nice and hot. only complaint today I ordered a pot of curry sauce and recieved something that looked like gravy or something.

Buzzing it came early…. But when I order a chicken curry and rice and the rice doesn’t come that pickles me off… then getting charge a fiver for delivery and service change it’s your duty to service people…. And it’s doesn’t cost 2.50 for delivery it’s less than 5 mins away…. Won’t be coming back at that prices

use this place all the time and never had a problem until tonight had half my order missing then when rang the resteraunt was as good as called a lisr won't be using again appaling customer service for someone who has been a loyal customer for a long time

Ordered at 8pm, still waiting for it at 9.50!! We only live 10 min away! The driver has apparently broken down, sorry don't buy that!

Nice food, the broccoli and satay where particularly delicious. A little disappointed to not get any free prawn crackers when we spent so much, but still enjoyed the meal.

ordered 7pm. 0.3 Miles[ yer I could have walked] 1hr 30 mins delivery of cold chips Luke warm main. I order 2-3 times a week and nearly fobbed off by the lady on the phone. Agreed free replacement when I go in next. delivery is usually within 30mins and perfect

Canceled my order because they said the traffic was bad because of Hull fair. I have been out down anlaby road and the traffic is just as normal as another day, very lame excuse from this takeaway, I shall never order from them In the future

I have had a few meals from the Lucky Star with no problems ,but I am very dissapointed with tonights order I cannot review a meal that never turned up I've had no explanation why and was unable to ring the restaurant to find out anything .

The delivery was spot on but this has to probably be one of the worst Chinese food restaurants I've ordered from. I spent £30 on food we couldn't eat as it tasted awful It was very bland in flavour and everything was over cooked an sloppy. We won't be ordering from here again that's for sure...

Ordered two different curry's both tasted exactly same no flavour just spicy! To point couldn't eat it so if your just after spicy food no flavour perfect

The chow mein was just to wet with the sauce and was almost mush the chips had just sweated in the container so not the best pineapple fritters wasn’t really a fritter more a pineapple slice with a very small amount of batter on it but again soggy wouldn’t use again

Los fideos Chow Mein estaban empapados y sosos. Casi nada de carne. Las patatas estaban frías. Comida de mala calidad. 1 hora 10 minutos para la entrega y vivimos a 2 minutos, además dijo que no sería mucho tiempo. Gastó más de £ 40 para 3 comidas y ni siquiera galletas de langostinos gratis. Tan apretado y lento. No volveré. Solía ser bueno una vez!

plenty of food, BUT the curry sauce was too hot to eat and the special curry was the same. So unfortunately it wasn't value for money as we couldn't eat any of it. Just don't expect chinese curry sauce to be that hot. Wherever we have been before its been a lovely Mild taste and lovely to eat. So we won't be using Lucky Star again. 😕 £20 odd wasted and put in the bin. Not a happy bunny.

30 minutes late and counting despite the ap stating the food was delivered!!! trying to ring the restaurant is useless as no one picks the phone up! hopefully will at some point receive the delivery I paid for however will never use this restaurant again and will strongly disencourage anyone I know to use it. Unacceptable!!! very unhappy

The food was absolutely foul. Sludgey texture chow mein, all the noodles there stuck together and beef looked inedible. Chips tasted like they’d been warmed in a microwave.

¡LA COMIDA PUEDE CONTENER PLÁSTICO! Lamento decirlo pero desafortunadamente había un pedazo enorme de plástico en las bolas de pollo rebozadas. Da mucho miedo como le gustan a mi hijo y si lo hubiera tenido se habría ahogado. Se trata de una cuestión grave que debe abordarse de manera inmadura.
