Ripped off with Spam and Mushroom sandwiches. For some reason Mushrooms with Bacon is 20p extra. Get Mushrooms with Spam and it's 90p extra. The Spam could not be thinner and far too small a portion for the T cake it comes in. I asked the staff if the price was right and they said yes. We were charged £9.20 for two Spam and Mushrooms. We could have got 3 Sausage 3 Bacon 2 Spam 2 Eggs Beans Tomatoes Mushrooms and 2 Toast for £8.90. Think they need to look again at their pricing format. It wasn't the money it was the principle.

We needed a quick take-away breakfast bap and cuppa as we were tight for time. Speedy service and so friendly. Baps were stuffed full and cooked perfectly

Town centres need more of this type of traditional establishment, in a time when large chains dominate the sector. Nothing on a Saturday morning like the smell of breakfast being cooked. Interior is pretty modern, service was good. Felt welcome in an unfamiliar place. Recommended.

Very rude staff! After having a lovely walk around the dam with friends. To be told unless we had a booking we could not buy a cup of tea. Wouldn’t even make eye contact to say this in a polite way.

Carlton StVisited yesterday, very pushy staff. I like time to spend looking but seemed to be pushing too much to buy so went without buying anything. I wont visit again.

A1 Barnsdale Bar SouthPassed by here many times before but as the main part seemed a little run down we hadn't given it a second thought. This time however, We were in need of a break as our journey had been fraught with heavy traffic so we pulled in and were so glad that we did. A very pleasant refreshment stop, with helpful, friendly and smiling staff meant that we stayed a little longer than intended. We shall definitely call in again when travelling this route.

18b Cow Ln, Havercroft, RyhillOh my god! Best burger, fries and cheesey chips I’ve ever tasted. Even though the delivery took an hour, the food definitely made up for it and was definitely worth the wait. 🙏
