Mad Cakes in Exeter

Debbie le hizo a nuestro amigo un pastel de sóftbol para su cumpleaños. ¡Ella respondió muy bien a nuestras peticiones y el sabor del pastel fue increíble! Muy húmedo y sabroso. Muchas gracias, somos clientes muy felices (y feliz cumpleaños). Exactamente lo que queríamos y atención al detalle (las costuras de color, etc. eran perfectas).

Increíble servicio de Debbie y Laura. El pastel de cumpleaños número 50 fue excelente e incluso le dieron algunos globos de helio. Gracias chicos y nos vemos de nuevo.

¡Guauu! ¡Simplemente guau! Debbie hizo nuestro pastel de bodas y fue perfecto! Toda la experiencia fue tan fluida y sin estrés (¡si solo la boda completa hubiera podido ser así!) Desde la consulta inicial y las degustaciones hasta el pastel final. El lado "tradicional" del pastel era simplista y los primeros de los dos novios. Sin embargo, cuando cambiamos el pastel, el factor WOW nos impresionó a nosotros y a nuestros invitados al revelar nuestros niveles y toppers temáticos de Doctor Who y Star Wars. El diseño final del pastel coincidía perfectamente con lo que queríamos y los diseños e ideas que le habíamos enviado por correo electrónico de un lado a otro a Debbie. Los sabores que elegimos para los niveles (zanahoria, esponja Victoria, limón y frambuesa, chocolate blanco y almendras) sabían absolutamente increíbles y quedaron muy bien con los invitados, ya que al final de la noche quedaba muy poco. ¡Recomendamos MadCakes para un pastel para cualquier ocasión! ¡Gracias por su arduo trabajo para hacer nuestro pastel y nuestro día!

Con una celebración familiar de cumpleaños, elegimos un pastel especial de Mad Cakes, una gran decisión. Pastel sabroso, profesionalmente helado y perfectamente decorado. DEBBIE y su equipo realmente superaron nuestras expectativas, gracias  No puedo recomendar lo suficiente Mad Cakes

Tenía el mejor pastel hecho para mi cumpleaños! Sinceramente, el mejor pastel de chocolate que he probado en mi vida! ! Era brillante y colorido, y aunque era realmente grande, duró aproximadamente 2 1/2 semanas y aún era igual de delicioso.

Ordered orange caramel shortbread for a birthday present. Looked and smelt great when I picked them up, unfortunately were not edible as they were rock solid throughout. The whole slab was wasted due to the chocolate, caramel and ‘shortbread’ (that was actually a biscuit base) being too tough to even bite into. I then messaged the company explaining the situation, to be told that images can be interpreted in different ways and they weren’t aware I wanted a soft base. (Even a biscuit base should be soft) I explained that the whole slab was not edible and wasted and was told I could bring them in, in which I could not have done for a few days due to work so they would have gone stale anyhow. I stated that if they were unsure on the image they then should have asked further questions to get the product right, the basics that I expected. I told them the next available day I was free and that I could send something over of the ‘shortbread’ to them via Facebook and I was then ignored and have not received anything since the 27th April. VERY disappointing customer service and more importantly the overall product, will not be returning or suggesting to anyone.

Did not meet their deadline (after altering it serveal times) and was without cake for most of my birthday. Mad Cakes dealt with this situation very poorly with poor customer service with unprofessional comments including 'why would a 21 year old be bothered'. When cake arrived it not 100% satifactiory with polystyrene keeping it together and it did not fully follow the brief. it's the only cake we had so had to deal with it, but it has created an upsetting situation on my 21st. My advice? Avoid.

My daughter had the most wonderful 10th birthday at Mad Cakes. The cake demonstrator (Claire) was brilliant! She was so friendly and engaging with the children - they loved her (Claire alone should be a 5 star review)! The location was easy to find with parking too! The birthday venue was decorated wonderfully giving an immediate 'party' atmosphere. Claire demonstrated lots of interesting themes for the girls' cakes (for example Harry Potter's sorting hat) and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. The buffet for the children was very substantial with a whole host of lovely food which all of the girls enjoyed. We loved it and I have spread the word with parents. So why not 5 stars? (so wanted to give the full house); unfortunately the take-home decorated cakes didn't taste as good as I'd hoped but I am going to book a birthday party for my youngest daughter next year. I think that it would be great to offer party bags in the future

Difficult to find when driving into this huge retail park estate and is located next to a large motorcycle dealer in an interesting complex named Bakers Yard. A couple of tables are situated outside the front entrance and there is limited parking to the side of the cafe. There is a small step leading into the front of the cafe and you are immediately met with a vast array of cakes in different shapes, sizes and colours. The wooden tables and chairs were were spaced out, clean and presented a very homely ambience. The order was taken from an extensive list of foods, hot and cold, which took a while to be served, however the staff were friendly, helpful and attentative. Whilst the food was considered to be slightly better than average, the cakes were fantastic and worth going to see - a child's paradise.
