Mags Beach Cafe in Blackpool

Visited after a heavy night drinking service was slow and confused ordered milky coffees which turned out to be just coffee with a splash of milk which didn't arrive until part way through the breakfast after asking for them again, both breakfasts were served on baking trays which was not the worst thing in the world but slightly unusual, 2 of the 3 staff seemed lovely and the food was slow to arrive but was piping hot apart from the toast I think that had been cooked on the radiator. All in all not the best we've had in Blackpool but certainly not the worst.

If you're looking for a fancy cafe to make you feel posh, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a no frills greasy spoon that'll serve you a perfectly cooked scottish breakfast that will satisfy your hunger for the rest of the day, and have you dreaming about it for weeks to come, go to mags. Unless your definition of a nice breakfast includes mimosas and buttered crumpets, you won't find a better breakfast in this town.

Quality food for a very good price brilliant customer service a definite place to go we will definitely be going again.

The food was delicious and makes you want to go back for more. I had a steak which was medium-well and it was just perfect the chips are lovely and home made. Also the owners were lovely and friendly would highly recommend and very cheap too.

This cafe is a family run business, it's well presented, very clean and friendly. The food is delicious, and reasonable priced, it's a friendly place, and a lot of customers visit often. I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely cafe, it wouldn't disappoint.

I have Been many times this year and they never disapponit. staff are lovely, great food and open all year

Decided to drop in for a bite to eat , mmm , well the price was ok , the portions are not big, handy as we were going out for a big meal later that night. Some one walked out complaining they did not want a child’s portion, food was nice, felt rushed out as the room started to fill with smoke from the grill, owner wanted to leave early. Would not rush back. May depend on if we want small meal before going out at night.

4 of us popped in @ mid day to grab something to eat before our journey home. We all wished we'd found this amazing wee place at the beginning of our break. Food was perfect , portions massive and all served quickly with a huge smile. Service was second to none and it was brilliant to at last find somewhere immaculately clean with such a warm atmosphere. Keep up the good work guys and we will see you when we are next back down.

So I'm vegan and I asked if it was possible to accommodate. They said yes so I ordered a veggie breakfast and when I was done eating it I heard them laughing in the kitchen that it was meat!!! When I went to complain is disgust they snapped at me and said "you know what the hardest part of being a vegan is? Keeping it to yourself" and said they dont serve hippies!

I came to this which 'looked nice' cafe with my husband and two boys for lunch, only to be rudely looked up and down on arrival, later approached by another lady with a half bothered attitude and disgusting manners- ordered our lunch (was very prompt with our order) but discovered hair and out of date browning lettuce- this was not acceptable. After my husband complaining he simply got told to 'f**k off & eat somewhere else' infront of my two year old and 5 year old. Absolutely shocking and disgusting behaviour, i do NOT plan on visiting again & 1000% do not recommend. Unhygienic & very very rude staff. Take your business elsewhere, this place is a disgrace.

I visited this Cafe last month and I have to say that the service was awful. Waiting nearly 30 mins for my food and the place wasn't even full. The staff kept on going for a cigarette in the front of us whilst we were eating our food and I even found varies things in my food, for example, some hair. Never going here again.

the staff stunk off fags, they was shouting at kids and in and out all the time for fags nothing to say anyone were qualified honestly wasnt the cleanest of places but food were ok I guess they are very rude and I would advise going there !

Mags cafe caters for both adults and children and the prices are very affordable! Will definitely be eating there again, the staff are amazing and the food was absolutely delicious!
