If you take your coffee (or tea) seriously, you must pop into the Major Coffee shop. They will make your coffee to order from the beans of your choice (they stock a remarkable range) and it invariably tastes fantastic. The same goes for their range of teas. Friendly, prompt service and very inexpensive (I thought so, for the quality of the products) and if you sit in, rather than takeaway, you can enjoy the mellow blues playing low on the sound system. Super atmosphere. Highly recommended.

2 London Road, Newark-on-Trent NG24 1TW EnglandAlthough the spring rolls starter was lovely the noodle dish was massively disappointing. Very bland, definitely quantity over quality! Both main dishes were a massive let down. I would sooner have had a bowl of super noodles and saved a lot of money! Shame as Vietnamese food is ordinarily a cuisine I love!

25 Main StreetFor the umpteenth time Jo-Hanna’s has provided coffees and bacon rolls supporting the flood volunteers whilst they help other villagers. It’s quite simply a brilliant village asset.
