I had an amazing experience at Mec Halal in Nottingham. The staff were so friendly and really made us feel welcome. Faiza, in particular, was incredibly nice and made sure everything was perfect. Amazing flavours and great service.

Came down from Rochdale for work and had the food here. The Parmesan and chicken burger were really nice and tasty! Was really impressed with the presentation and loved the fries too and drinks. Kainat was really helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place to family and friends!

Being an international student visiting Notts for the first time my main worry apart from my academics, believe it or not was always the food I had - fussy , picky, choosy call me whatever THERES NO ACCOUNTING FOR TASTE. MakHalal Nottingham Alfreton Road Branch has proven nothing short of a savior for me. Amazing Burgers, Outa the world Pizzas, Biryani - (the rice box) is second to none I've had in the whole of UK. Soothing ambience, courteous staff - all smiles. The experience is to die for. MakHalal for me is home away from home! Cannot recommend them enough. I'm hooked for life! Come and check them out for yourself.

The food is great, exactly what I wanted with good sized portions. The service was exceptional, they were quick, but forgot my fries. I didn't notice until a member of staff stopped me halfway down the street to hand them to me. Absolutely brilliant, thank you guys a lot.

Placed delivery order via uber eats for parmesan chickens arrived according to allege time only to discover the food was cold. Called the takeaway was told call uber for cold food being delivered they can-not do anything! Was then told batch delivery was being prepared which hence may affect the delivery time. and food being warm. Charming which means be prepared to reheat your food being ordered! Really bad customer service and no management accountability.

I have ordered online from here a few times, and the food has always been fantastic, but today I decided to visit the restaurant in person for the first time and I am so glad I did. The lady who took my call was incredible. She made sure I got the best deal and ensured I was happy with my order. When I arrived, she greeted me warmly, instantly recognising me, and made me feel genuinely welcome. She even checked on me while I was eating to make sure I was satisfied. The service was honestly on par with a 5-star restaurant, yet this was a takeaway meal priced at just £4.99! The food, as always, was delicious, and the prices for collection are unbeatable compared to other takeaways and restaurants in the area. For the quality and service, this place is outstanding. Highly recommend!

I order double beef burger and they give me double chicken and i asked for exchange and they start arguing and didnt give me what i want. 3. Food is cold i will rate food as 6/10 I think they have a fake reviews as the reviews are good but not as expected so didn’t recommend this place Nottingham had better places than this worst experience ever

We ordered our food for eat in on a busy Saturday afternoon and it only took 15 minutes. We could not complain in the slightest. The pizzas was very hot chessey and tasty. I always visit Mak halal- food is very tasty and always HOT! Ive never had a problem and I know I never will. Service is great especially from Ali- he is a very welcoming member of staff. I would recommend anyone coming to Nottingham to try Mak halal on Alfreton road. They also have a restaurant in Birmingham and one opening in Leicester very soon.
