Different bistro type pub. No real ales yet, good selection of cask beers, lagers and ciders. Speciality cocktails with authentic ingredients shaken not stirred. Table service. Sunday roast is good.

Great brunch menu. Can choose your side so have a full English or veggie breakfast and a side of mash or chips. The chicken salad is also great. Ideal for late brunch on a Friday off work :-) No photos - ate it all before we thought of that!

Lovely family feeling! Great selection of beers and the menu was great. The owners made us feel welcome straight away and loved playing with our son. Highly recommended place in North Finchley

Super - visited Finchley today to meet up with boys for Mother’s Day . We decided to eat here, and had a fab roast and desert for just £18 a head. Really good food and incredible value . Well done - you’ve made us want to come back for another Sunday roast next time we are down . Staff great, and gluten free was superb.

We came for Sunday dinner it was delicious, very attentive staff friendly younger female waitress was very polite and helpful I didn’t get her name. I had the beef and there was a generous portion loved the cauliflower cheese will be back again

This is a great little pub, me and my husband have come here on a few occasions and really enjoy the atmosphere. Great happy hour with the cocktail menu and with good food. Friendly owners and great customer service.

Popped in after dinner to this pub, we were pleasantly surprised. The new owners have decorated it stylishly and they offer 2 for £10 on (strong) cocktails. Music & great atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Visited @maltandhopslondon for dinner and drinks and had a lovely experience. The staff is very warm and welcoming , fresh and scrumptious food alongside creative cocktails ! What I tried ? * Chicken Goujon * Pan fried sea bass * Dirty burger * Padron pepper * Mushroom Porcini * Panna Cotta * Apple Strudel The cocktails went down an absolute treat, all freshly made and bursting with flavours! If you’re into Espresso Martini’s then I’d highly recommend this place as it’s one of the best I’ve ever had.. The food was exceptional, the sea bass was divine and the dirty burger really stole our heart. The mushroom porcini are so fresh and imported directly from Italy, tasted great The desserts were quite enjoyable as well and the staff made us feel quite welcomed.
