Had a really good meal...2 for the price of 1 on traditional Currys Service good A Sunday lunch time it was quiet

Went the other night the food was fantastic and such a relaxing place to visit. Really enjoyed it .the food is fantastic and service is brilliant .the car park is also brilliant no problem at all parking . It's definitely worth a visit

We went to Mantra for a late lunch and had a great experience. We ordered saag aalu, kadhayi paneer, chana masala with garlic naan and vegetable biryani. We found the food very delicious and couldn't stop eating even when we were full! 😂 We ended up coming back in a few hours to pickup some more for dinner.

Lovely and friendly staff.. We went as big group of people ( 11 of us) and we got big table straight away. Amazing food and service. We were on a road trip, and if we will be near that place again, we would definitely stop there again. Cheese and garlic bread was the best we ever had.

We have driven past on several occasions,but we thought the outside appearance did not inspire us,but we have received very good reports regarding the food,so the three of us made it our first visit. The food and service was amazing, very friendly staff,and professional,the atmosphere was also surprisingly very good,we will definitely be returning to this excellent restaurant.

Suitable for a nice meal with your family, friends and for a romantic meal with your partner. This is my go to when I want an Indian and the food is amazing, whether you are eating in or as a takeaway. Always served with beautiful presentation and tastes gorgeous.

Visited this restaurant with my friends yesterday and i must say that we had a lovely evening. Nice ambiance, friendly staff. Although last minute visit, we managed to get a nice table. I went to Sunday Indian BBQ twice, and it was really good! The prices are fair, the meat quality is excellent, and it's hard to recreate at home. The chef is very knowledgeable about flavors, and the staff is friendly. If you love Mantras' food, you'll like the BBQ too. Don't miss trying the lamb and prawns!

I threw a surprise dinner for my wife's 40th birthday at Mantra. It was our first time dining in at the restaurant after having takeaway from there before. The food was amazing, and I would definitely recommend Mantra to others for a tasty curry! 😋

We often go to Mantra and have had lunch there many times since they opened. We really like the food and the vibe. The lunch menu offers good value for money and has a lot of options to choose from. More people should check it out and enjoy a meal there.

We ordered some takeout for the family, and it was really good. Everyone loved all the dishes we got. The chicken tikka masala was the tastiest I've ever had, and the lamb balti was fantastic too. We also enjoyed the chicken balti and lamb rogan josh. The pilao rice and plain nan were just right. I wouldn't change a thing. It was perfect!

We held a prostrate cancer fund raiser meal there From start to finish it was excellent They also donated a share of the meal price to prostrate Absolutely a great clean pleasant restaurant

Visited The Mantra for an Afternoon curry as per usual the food was spot on the service was great the owners are always welcoming and friendly this is now our go to restaurant 10/10.

We are regular visitors to Mantra and have had our lunches at the Mantra several times since their opening all day, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It's great value for money with lots of choice, and more costumers should go and give the lunch time menu a try. We are also looking forward to BBQ season which was great last summer. Thanks to the team.

We had a takeaway for the family and it was excellent. Every dish was cleared with nothing but compliments. Chicken tikka masala was the best I’ve ever tasted, lamb balti was also superb, as well as chicken balti and lamb rogan josh. Pilao rice and plain nan were spot on. Not a single thing I’d change. Perfect!

Hidden gem. Favourite Indian in Stoke.

Visited on Saturday lunchtime to try the New Weekend Lunch Menu. Mains are £8.75 I was lucky enough to enjoy the 2-4-1 offer on Mains. I had Chicken Kadai which came with rice and Singaporean Garlic Chicken which came with rice. The meat and sauce portions, ie the curry portions, are on the small side, the rice portions are medium to large If I hadn't had the 2-4-1 offer I would've gone hungry. Without that offer - paying £8.75 for a small portion does NOT represent value for money. The food itself was just okay and certainly NOT Excellent. In fact it was pretty forgettable. The meals came to my table SEVEN minutes after ordering, so the food must have been be pre-prepared in pots, frozen and microwaved. Definitely NOT freshly prepared! I was the only person dining in the whole place. I had no draught Cobra with my meal as it is £3.99 for a half pint, which I cannot afford!! I last visited here SIX years ago with my girlfriend. It could now easily be another SIX years!

I organised a surprise 40th birthday meal for my wife at Mantra. I've had takeaways from Mantra before but this was the first time I have had a sit down meal in their restaurant. The meal was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mantra to people for a scrumptious curry! 😋

Such a shame… I travel 45 minutes to eat at this place and normally the staff are really friendly and make great conversation, normally this would of been 5/5 but on todays visit I was really let down by the staff and the food. We had the lamb tawa extra spicy which was absolutely delicious unbelievable. 10/10. But the korma was inedible I’ve never eaten chicken so rubbery in my life. Had to spit it out just to check if it was cooked properly. The staff were really underwhelming and didn’t get a good feel for the place upon first arrival. This may be the last time I travel 45 minutes to eat at this place. If you do come here please try the tawa it’s delicious.

Had a Madras was lovely pretty hot but was still lovely naan bread was nice cheese and garlic. Wasn't overly expensive would definitely go back.

Went to mantra again last night had veg samosas with salad starter and lamb shish kebab & salad starter's Chicken kidia done medium & lamb sagg , steamed rice mushroom rice peshwari nan , garlic nan 2 pints of cobra , 2 glasses of shiraz £ 57 excellent food cooked lovely just right spiced in flavour & heat peshwari nan best I've had anywhere 5☆ been going mantra for good couple of years and will continue to visit in the future shivarni & her chef husband both give excellent service to this restaurant staff are also very friendly work hard and also contribute to the top quality to this restaurant 😊👍

We have been to sunday Indian BBQ twice now and it was absolutely delicious, the prices are very good and the quality of the meat excellent , you'd be hard pressed to replicate at home , and it was a real treat the Chef was attentive and informative about the flavours , and the team friendly and welcoming, If you enjoy the Mantras great food the rest of the year the B B Q won't disappoint if you haven't been before definitely make the effort to go I'd recommend the lamb and prawns

The best tasting food, always get it right every single time whether it’s sitting in or collection🙌🏼 only thing we dislike is how it’s reduced opening hours (not open Mon/Tues/even Weds 😞 .. we would have it every day if we could🤣

It was nice to be called by the chef following our call to book the table was missed. Spacious interiors are well decorated. Three tables were occupied and dozens more were empty, likely reflecting the economic climate of the clients. Food was of high quality just as the prices were high. The venue was not heated. I have teavelled and worked in Asia, the Middle East and Worldwide etc many Indian restaurants visited in the Stoke area, this is by far the worst Indian Restaurant I have been to. The setting was rather nice, the staff who served us pleasant and nice. The food however tasteless and bland, the owner disengaged. I didn't complain at the time as it wasn't my gig or to upset the company I was in, all 8 people were not happy. Would we go here again? Most definately not, there are by far much better places around the Stoke area. And as one reviewer has already mentioned it was cold, very cold

First time I've ordered from here just had a take away and I must say that the curry was absolutely delicious I had a chicken jalfrazi and my husband had a chicken Rogan Josh and nan bread is a bit smaller than we usually have but will definitely recomend to give it ago and order from here

Bad experience, don't go without a coat as it's so cold, didn't take my coat off the whole time and was still dithering. I ordered a tandoori as shown in the picture this was £16, the sauce was very bland and more like a chutney! I asked for no shish kebab and asked for something extra but didn't look like any extra come! Other members of the party ordered chicken tikka massala, had no resemblance of massala no flavour or spices didn't taste authentic and worse than a jar!

Great food, one of the best around imo

We ordered a takeaway from Mantra on a Saturday night and were impressed by the food. The Kerala fish curry, aloo saag and tandoori King prawns were particularly nice. The tandoori chicken wasn't as juicy and flavorful as it is in India but was close enough. The naans, meant to be eaten on the spot, traveled surprisingly well and were still soft when we ate them at home. They included papadams on the house which was a nice touch. We've eaten at Mantra before and really enjoyed the ambience in addition to the food - hopefully it won't be too long before they open their doors to sit-down dining again but in the meantime they offer good value for high-quality Indian food that's far more authentic than most other restaurants in the area that claim to serve Indian food!

We’ve been once for the Thursday night offer and probably won’t return. The restaurant was cold, even with a heater next to the table. The deal included a free pint of lager or a soft drink, so we asked for a pint of coke. The young lad served the drinks and then later on changed his mind, telling us we’d be charged for them as the deal included a pint of lager or half pint of coke. The rogan josh had no tomatoes in it at all and tasted like a ready meal sauce. I wouldn’t return until they install some heating, stop penalising teetotallers and improve the food. The soft drinks prices are excessive and come in 200ml servings.
