Marcos Fish Bar in Aberdeen City

Wow, I cannot emphasise how bad this chippy is, however it has sobered me right up with just how truly terrible it is. Having waited for a freshly cooked large fish supper, I was presented with a small fish supper that seemed to be overcooked to the likeness of a wellington boot! Not a single other customer waiting at the time. Even if you are really pissed, avoid this one!

£11 for a large fish supper, and they give you the smallest piece of fish I've ever see from a chippy!! This is a certified review after many beers, and still that bad! Genuinely the worst haddock and chips in Scotland. You shouldn't get jaw ache from eating fish and chips, but here at Marco's they've managed to perfect the art of terrible cooking for the British pallette. If there's ever been an example of why the rest of the world thinks the UK has terrible taste in food, this is it!

Ordered food on just eat went to collect it and they told me they cancelled it by they haven't cancelled anything. 10 quid down the drain 😡

Marcos has left and a new manager has taken over who was extremely rude and insulting to me, said really hurtful remarks after I pointed out he had charged me for something I never received. Marcos was lovely it’s a shame he’s left, we won’t be back again.

The food was amazing but the service was appalling, I was served by a young lad called Dave or dale or something along the lines, he starts effing and blinding around my two beautiful children and proceeds to be horrid to my husband Martin who has dwarfism, Not happy #Angry mother and wife

Great service, large fish supper with great big chunky chips. Piping hot cooked fresh on the spot. Good value too. Glad I tried these guys. Well worth the walk from the hotel. You can tell it smelt good the seagulls were following me down the road!

Chips were cold didn't even melt my cheese and that was after a 20 minute drive home. They were cold when i got them. I decided not to even finish them after a drunk night out they were that bad AVOID AT ALL COST

Very nice staff and like to talk but not if it’s busy of course. This place is packed on weekends but service is surprisingly fast! Pizza always tastes the same no matter what. Love it!

Not leaving a review for the food, though I could, as I have eaten from here heaps and always enjoyed it. Reason for the review is just that these guys are ACE. Had a delivery order from the place next door to them. Order was wrong. Phoned the number on the next door restaurants webpage. No connection. Found a different number from another website. That one just rang and rang. Called Marco’s to see if they had contact details for their neighbours, and the guy from Marco’s went next door to fetch the manager of the other restaurant. Now THAT is going above and beyond. Great service from the Marco’s team.

Was a bit dubious when I walked through the door but the pizza's were a real pleasant surprise. The Marco's special was one of the best pizza's I've had in a while. Very fair prices also.

Made me something that’s not on there menu and it was beautiful.

Didn't really enjoy my first experience with this place,I went in for a bit tea before work and think I was giving food from the night before,Food already there but still had a 10 min wait,The food i was served was poor,it's cheap but I wouldn't really recommend and don't think I'll need to visit again anyway

AVOID unless you like greasy food and I mean dripping I pressed my fork down lightly on fish and it was a pool of fat . Ordered a mince and got stotted up with a cheap scotch pie the few chips I got in my box tasted ok gadzzzzz to the rest used to be a good chippy as well
