love it here! nice food, affordable drink, lovely location especially in the summer. such a shame it closes at 9 or earlier most days. quiet because people can’t see the point in making the trip to only get one drink in at the start of a night out.

Lovely little pub great value for money and food and large portions for the price. Good home cooked food especially the Parmesans and the corned beef pie! Always served hot and staff very friendly and welcoming

Great lunch today thanks Ladies, nice and cosy with the real fire and Christmas decorations Popped in again today for lunch with friends. Doombar pie was lovely, and Sean & Christine even let us cuddle the dogs Can't believe we missed the dogs, but another great visit today is a lovely atmosphere today with sunshine Best atmosphere on the High Street 👌 Great visit..Live 🎶 tonight was great. I ❤️ this pub in the summer sunshine Loved the cheesy dj music 🎶 last night real role back to my younger days Lovely friendly welcome with fires on and Sean looking after us as always, on a miserable day and making us smile. The most expensive cafe in the uk she makes her own prices up she was always expensive but she's got that bad she put a little sign up near the samosas trying to justify it swear to god if u order a few of her mangy chicken sandwiches u could go to Miller and Carter watch how greedy she is with everything she puts on aswell one portion two portion she makes her price up buying a sandwich is like buying a BMW with the extras she charges you for on it half cheese full cheese me and me partner couldn't believe that one you need a credit rating of over 850 to walk in her door

Afternoon tea today, lovely! Good selection, well presented and tasty. Service was quick ,and staff pleasant. Well recommended.
