Los cócteles servidos en el palacio Gin, que se encuentra en el hotel Strand Palace, son una joya absoluta para el hotel. La presentación, la creatividad y el servicio valen la pena para dedicar el tiempo anterior al automimo. Todos y cada uno de los miembros del equipo tienen su propia historia y antecedentes para contarle sobre el hotel y la historia de cada cóctel. + 10 por la calidad del servicio y el conocimiento, que es tan importante en la industria hotelera. Me sentí especial y único invitado mientras pasaba el tiempo en Gin Palace. Recomendado para aquellos que están dispuestos a pasar un rato brillante mientras se tratan. ¡Impresionado!

Super Bar, unser Barkeeper Sanjay hat einen top Job gemacht, unsere Drinks waren sehr lecker und wir haben sehr gute Empfehlungen bekommen. Der Flair und die Atmosphäre in der Bar sind total angenehm, definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Great cocktails mixed by Sanjay and nice atmosphere. Hotel was great in a central location and staff was friendly and helpful.

Whilst staying at The Strand Hotel, we used The Gin Palace the couple of times. There was a good choice of Gins, other spirits and a few cocktails too. The staff were friendly. This would of been a 4 star review had I not of been overcharged! The barman who acknowledged the error collected a sheet of paper from an office and filled in all of my details and said my card would be refunded in 5-7 days. The bar bill was £83.53 (which included a service charge). The amount owed is only £16, but its the principal. It's now 17 days and still no refund. I have sent emails without reply which is frustrating.

We went for a pre-dinner gin and tonic. I could have cooked dinner quicker than we got served a gin and tonic. After our order was finally taken, the waiter came back again and asked if we were ready to order. He did this to another couple too. There were 4 staff and none of them were making drinks, despite tables of customers all waiting for a drink. One group got up and left. The staff were totally unorganised, clueless and had no sense of urgency. Who is the manager and where were they?

Awful experience, terrible service, waiters didn’t know the drinks they were serving, and could not understand customers requests. Drinks not served from a tray, just glasses being carried around the bar, no placemats so drinks were dripping on table. Was our favourite place to go but certainly not now, extremely bad.

Vi var en liten gruppe venner som kom inn i en tom bar med mange ledige bord. Da vi skulle til å bestille, kom det noen kollegaer inn og satt seg ved et nabobord. Da kom kelneren og kastet oss alle ut fordi baren hadde en regel om at ikke flere enn åtte mennesker kunne kjenne hverandre i lokalet. Vi var hverken høylytt eller beruset, men forlot selvfølgelig stedet grunnet den dårlige servicen. Har aldri vært med på noe liknende.

Had a few vouchers to spend on my last night at the hotel and thought I'd split it 50/50 between the restaurant (Haxells) and the Gin Palace. Ended up with more gin-knowledge, and more drinks than I thought. The bartender knew his trade, and I may even have to try making my own now! For a mild introduction I loved the Icelandic cocktail on their menu.

We arrived after spotting the sign in the pouring rain and were immediately impressed. The first waiter showed us to a table and asked if we’d like the air conditioning turned down. He came back swiftly to take our order and then returned with delicious cocktails. A second waiter came before the glasses were empty to collect our next order. He was friendly and chatty and spoke to us about the cocktails. We were really impressed and will absolutely return when back in the area.

Popped in for a nightcap whilst staying at the Strand Palace. Great atmosphere, charming staff and fantastic cocktails. However, noticed on my credit card that we'd been charged for someone else's drinks as well as our own. Contacted them with a copy of the bill, and within a few days, had a refund for the mystery drinks plus the service charge. Which despite everything I would still have been happy to have paid. Thank you Gin Palace.

Drinks were ok. Ambiance/location is great. Service was terrible. 3 guests and 4 waiters doing nothing. Very arrogant and unfriendly. We didn’t feel comfortable in this place.

Great bar with a touch of class and excellent cocktails. The staff really do make you feel welcome and service is excellent.

Very disappointing and not recommended. When we arrived the bar was very quiet but it took a tediously long time before a waiter came over. Once ordered, the drinks took 20 minutes to arrive. How long drinks would take if the bar was busy doesn't bear thinking about. Cocktails were ok but staff don't appear knowledgeable or interested Decor is dated and overall the bar is tired A 12.5% service charge was added for poor service Not recommended

Closed on Sundays but excellent cocktails and small plates available. This was a fun bar in the hotel

We stopped in for drinks after dinner and couldn't have had better service. We loved the atmosphere. Yes, it's in a hotel but the lounge feel is incredible and the service made the night. They served us at our table. They have a huge gin selection (clearly) but also had a full bar for other drinks so it's a fit for anyone. We enjoyed our drinks. They might have been a bit pricier than other places but we expected that for a hotel and they were well worth it. It's a great place to go for a night out for drinks or a date night!

Estuve aquí dos veces en el último mes y lo disfruté las dos veces. Es un buen lugar para terminar una noche. Está muy bien decorado y es más tranquilo que los pubs de los alrededores. Sí, es un poco más caro pero, en mi opinión, vale la pena por el ambiente. Cuando discutí el costo para mí, no me molestó y los cócteles son más baratos que el Savoy. Para mí lo importante es la experiencia, por lo que me complace pagar para estar en un lugar que me guste, puedo sentarme y estar cómodo.

Called in for G&T plus a beer after a theatre visit - good atmosphere & a great selection of gins ….. but come on the prices …. £20 odd + for a G&T is asking a bit much !! a bottled beer at £5.40 is steep but not compared to the G&T. We enjoyed it but must rank now as the most expensive drink we've had.

I had a superb non alcoholic cocktail in this lovely bar which I have visited before. The attention to detail was lovely. I can't recall the lovely man's name but I did personally thank him once I had tasted it.

Cashing in on the current trend of gin being the drink of our time this nice bar does it well .not a big space so at busy times u struggle to sit but makes for a lively area.good staff and other drink styles are avalible

We went to the Gin Palace twice for drinks and had the cheese platter one evening as a snack. Great cocktails and the food was excellent. Plenty of it and well presented.

Debido a que los muebles son lujosos, y el piso está alfombrado, hay una intrusión de eco muy reducida, lo cual es muy deseable para los viejos sordos como yo. Pero no es una salida nocturna barata; sin embargo, es perfecto para un refuerzo antes de lanzarse a la vida nocturna de Londres West End.

Credit where it's due, it does have a good selection of gins but nothing too out of the ordinary to make it truly stand out for proper gin drinkers.

We came into the Gin Palace at about 8 p.m. and sat down at a table. We waited for over 15 minutes for anyone to approach us. There were people around us getting service, so we were clearly visible to the staff. We were dressed like normal tourists -- not scruffy or anything like that. After waiting over 15 minutes with no attention whatsoever from staff, we left. So, can't comment on the drinks or food, but the service (or lack thereof) was abysmal.

Good place to meet people as it is easy to find and quiet. But expensive (typical for the area) and service is average (only one barman). We only went there as my brother was staying there. Otherwise try other places in the area.

This was a lovely place to go after we had enjoyed a dinner out. If you wanted a chilled vibe to have some drinks then I would recommend coming here. There are many different gins to try as well as whiskeys, other alcoholic drinks as well as coffee/tea and soft drinks. The nibbles were great too! Slightly pricey and sometimes too much ice added but would recommend for a quite drink.

Very relaxing after a day's meeting, but a tad pricy. Staff are attentive not just when you first arrive but during your stay.

Part of my birthday treats this week was a re-visit to the comedy club at the Strand Palace hotel and the evening continued afterwards at the Gin Palace cocktail bar in the hotel. The service here was exceptional, with fantastically made and presented cocktails. The team here headed by the food and beverage supervisor Stephania, who's personal service and attention to detail was exceptional and a credit to the bar and hotel and her colleagues.

Nice bar to spend a bit of time in before or after a meal. Good service. Comfortable Nice cocktails. Suitable for a wheelchair

A beautiful bar in the Art Deco style . Very cosy with low lighting . Lots of interesting cocktails to try . Rounds off the evening from a shopping day nicely

My best friend treated me to a fabulous afternoon tea with gin cocktails for my birthday. Cocktails were delicious and the afternoon tea perfect.

We've been here many times, so popped in again for some Champagne and the charcuterie board.

The service was decent and the drinks where good if not a little over priced. The menu is good But the experience lacked. There are better bars out ther for the money.

Dropped in for a martini as most pubs do not seem to be able to make them. Asked for a double as they had a happy hour 2 for one. The bartender said he couldn't do it due to licensing laws. Instead I god a single with a shot on the side. Strange!

Ordered a bottle of white wine and got it served very professionally. Great service and great wine! Nice place to relax.

The gin palace is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a custom cocktail and small bites. It boasts and extensive variety of gins and exotic mix-ins, as well as a full menu of other cocktails - all delicious.

In The Strand Palace Hotel you find this bar with a lot if different kinds of gin and tonic. Nice place.

We had a lovely Sloe Gin cocktail here. The decorand service are great - however its a little pricey!

Called in late evening. Need to give room key to prove you’re staying there. Quite nicely decorated but hugely expensive and staff had to be located so a little inattentive. Better than hotel. See my other review in this regard.

I once hated gin & tonic - and all it was - was a dislike to gordens and schweppes - then I was introduced to gin and tonics as it should be served.

Lovely decor and great service but a tad expensive - though given it's location in the Strand Palace Hotel this is not surprising.

Lovely weekend,we love London and visit the theatre as often as we can. Hotel staff at the Strand a Palace are always very helpful.Breakfast room on Sunday morning was very busy,and The staff were a little flustered but still always polite.

No es frecuente ver alguien tan apasionado! ! Le pedimos sugerencia y su conocimiento de ginebras era GUAU, probamos algunos de los cócteles, todos ellos increíbles especialmente rosa viejo Tom. Cócteles encantadora pero tal servicio normal. Cuando se paga un recargo puede esperar un poco más. Unos pocos bocados de cortesía con bebidas no volvería a perder por ejemplo. Esperar un mejor servicio en un hotel. No me gustaría volver

I do expect to pay London prices but £16 for a Gin & Tonic is a little steap, sevice was only average, wouldn't re visit

The barman was very friendly, but not such a great selection of gins, more of a cocktail bar.

Nice place to get a night cap, if you like gin your spoils for choice, can get busy with people coming back from the theatres this just adds to the atmosphere

Sólo 3 tonics estándar disponible. No tónica moderna, limón, albahaca, elder flores, etc, o aderezo diferente del estándar. Realmente pobres como dice es un Gin Palace. . Por el dinero que pagas puedes esperar una opción mucho mejor.

This is a hotel bar with lovely decor and a variety of seating. It is quiet and peaceful, apart for the gentle music.

Approx forthy five different bottles of gin in the gin menu. You can also have small dishes. I have been here before and I will be back.

Both standard and exclusive gins and traditional and exciting gin-drinks. Friendly and fun staff. Drinks a bit price, but not for this location.

Love this bar the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the drinks are great they are over priced but your in London and a hotel bar we got olives with our cocktails and the service was great. The cocktails where a decent size to o e been so some place where you get a tiny glass and pay the same price

Ok - lets start with the positives! Great location for West End - we were heading to Joe Allen's around the corner to celebrate joint 50th Birthdays. Service a little slow - but friendly & accomadating staff.....Why unfair pricing?We had 1 Gin & Tonic - charged £16 ..... 2 Vodka's & Diet Coke - charged £13.80 each / 2 Peroni's @ £5.60 - Total Bill inc Service charge £61.65 - Seriously for 5 drinks?I am aware that I paid hotel prices - but I was NOT given the option of which Vodka and which Gin I wanted - and therefore was charged the high end brands - it would have been proper and fair to ask which brand we preferred!As it was my treat - I was not going to argue prices etc in front of my guests - but really Gin Palace - is that really acceptable??Very disappointed.

We´ve been there few months ago. Just got in for a few drinks. Service was done nicely. Andreas welcomed us and offered us several different drinks. Each of us had about 2 Drinks and they were all fresh and well mixed. All in all the whole service teams seems enjoying there work and worked in a professional way. All of us enjoyed the stay at the bar.

The happy hour where you get 2 for the price of one makes this place a little more reasonable. The drinks were good but not being a gin expert I wouldn't know. They serve snacks but the meat one ordered lacked variety and presentation considering how much it was. Great olives though and cool decor!

I just love the Gin Palace in the Strand Palace Hotel, the decor is funky with some extra large armchairs. Drinks are expensive as you would expect in London, but they do serve your drinks in 50ml measures.

We visited The Gin Palace, a bar inside the Strand Palace Hotel for a couple of bottles of Champagne before dinner and Theatre. Nice surroundings and also nice friendly staff to serve. Was not busy at all as early evening and was a pleasure to sit and enjoy our drinks. Would recommend

We love gin. We visited twice in the evening over the course of a month. Both times the drinks were well poured and the service attentive. It can get busy. But if you are in the mood to visit a solid hotel bar that offers a generous pour (at a price of course), why not try here? The room is set up a little strange with a couple levels of seating, but don't let that put you off. They have many types of gin and barkeeps who know how to pour it.

The gin palace is tucked away inside a hotel on the strand so it tends to be quieter than other bars in London. Comfy sofas and table service make it a very comfortable place for a drink. The drinks themselves are of a good quality and there is a great selection including some very interesting gin and tonics. Drinks come with small complimentary snacks and there is a small bar menu if you want something more substantial. I visited twice with friends in the last year and enjoyed it very much.

Great cocktail and GIN menu, however on the exy side of reasonable. Staff not very knowledgeable on the precise products they are promoting.. and beware 2 for 1 happy hour is for cocktails only.. not GIN drinks.. which is 90% of the menu.. sigh.. so much promise.. so little delivered

I booked the gin afternoon tea as a surprise for my mum's 71st birthday, we actually went on the last day of her being 70.I had mentioned the fact that we were there to celebrate my mum's birthday, there was nothing mentioned or done to celebrate this fact, even a simple macaron or small cake & candle would have gone a long way.We were brought our teapot of tea - this was the only one we received, no top ups at all.The sandwiches & cakes were very nice, very small and just 2 of each, am I being greedy? At 29.95 per head I was hoping for a few more sandwiches and more than one pot of tea.We were then brought our tea & gin cocktails - the table wasnt cleared of any of our plates or cups, so we had to shuffle plates & stands around to fit everything on our table for 2.The service was very slow and the waiter barely spoke any English.We were sat in the Gin Palace bar and as it was a Friday afternoon, the bar soon filled up with people which didnt make it a very appealing experience at all.Thankfully, I was taking mum to see a show, so we were able to put the experience here out of our minds.So disappointed. I have previously stayed in the hotel here & hadnt had a good experience then either, I was hoping maybe this might have restored my faith in the Strand Palace - but no, never again

Lovely décor - very relaxing and a good choice of wine etc from helpful efficient staff. A welcome place to unwind - pre theatre or meeting with friends

Came here for drinks. i wasn't staying at the hotel but had heard good things about this venue. I like a G&T but heard the Gin based cocktails were excellent - and I wasn't dissapointed! Nice range of nibbles available. Plush and comfortable. Recommend a visit when in London.

Attracted by the "two for one cocktails" the night before, I couldn't work out if the offer extended to the Wednesday, but I was only interested in a drink before dinner - enjoyed the London Local, which is a simple G&T, though there were plenty of gin based cocktails on the extensive menu. The decor is not unattractive though it is still obviously a hotel bar (you can also tell that from the prices :-)) but it's good that it doesn't try to be something it's not.

Vast range of cocktails majority gin based but others available try dizzy monkey, pink old Tom or retro gimlet will knock your socks off! Average price £12-14 but worth it, staff friendly and full of recommendations.

We booked afternoon tea for five ladies and this place fitted the bill! The décor is gorgeous, the tea was exactly what we wanted, fab sandwiches, gorgeous cakes and the most important bit (for me!) yummy scones. Plus a gin cocktail included! What more could you ask for? The service was impeccable, nothing was too much trouble (our main waiter was Piotr, but all the waiters were great) the service was attentive but not in your face. We came for tea and stayed until closing, ordering more food later (sliders and sandwiches - also yum!) Great cocktails and reasonably priced prosecco. We dressed up but you could also go more casual if you prefer that. We will definitely be back!

Great Atmosphere, cosy, music, lights and all. Loved the fancy F&C and mandatory G&T. Much nicer than the hotel's lounge bar.

My husband and I visited for a drink. The waiter who served us was abrupt and extremely unwelcoming. We didn't even get so much as a smile when we smiled at him. Perhaps he was having a very bad day however we didn't leave a tip and left after one drink.

Fantastic aternoon tea for 5 of us, including delicious a gin cocktail. All the food was really lovely and such a great price especially for central London. We stayed on into the evening for more cocktails, prosecco and bar food. When our final bill came we had to double check it because it was so much less than we thought! Staff were excellent, very friendly & efficient but relaxed at the same time. Will definitely return.

I book two days at the Strand Palace and I was to take some drinks at the Gin Palace. The service is excellent, great cocktails and so peacefully place to talk and enjoy a lot of different drinks. Andreas, my waiter, was making amazing cocktails in front of us all the time and I really like the way he chose each drink, shaked the cocktail shaker and prepare every details. I just could say, it was a perfect night. I gonna repeat for sure!

The gin afternoon tea was brilliant & tasty. It's a very small but with a very exclusive feel. The food was beautiful & we had two gluten free & a vegetarian which was no issue the cakes & scones were lovely , some hot as I think they were freshly baked. The cocktail were beautiful to look at & tasty. Great place for a very special occasion.

Comfortable seats and not squashed in so easy to hold conversation with your own table rather than overhearing everyone else's - great choice of drinks - and pleasant staff on duty.

Had a lovely evening drinking Tanquery and Fevertree tonics with a sharing platter of food. Very comfortable seats. Got a bit noisy after about 11pm but enjoyed it all.

Poor seating arrangement made it difficult to find a table for a small group (6 people), but service good.

Apart from the huge selection of gins, and the lengthy deliberation over which to sample, this was a pleasant experience and gave us a quiet respite in a busy and buzzing hotel

What's a beautiful classy place. When I visited it was clean and tidy and private ....not the cheapest place to drink but beautiful surroundings and very polite staff

We were there having afternoon tea with three friends. Having the Gin High Tea at Gin Palace was the best idea ever! 29.95£ for tea and cofee as much as you want, one cocktail with gin (yummie!) and a huge plate full of delicious food. 4 different sandwiches, 2 scones and 4 sweet dishes like tart or mousse au chocoalt. Cosy atmosphere, really friendly staff made a wonderful afternoon!!
