McDonald's in Eastleigh

If you want your food to be the same temperature as your cold drinks then this is the place for you. Oh also they help with calories as they forget to put I'd say 35% of the order very good indeed. I know it's a fast food chain not expecting anything amazing but geee at least send Luke warm food or something, I get people make mistakes but seems to be a running theme for everyone else. Bonus points the mcflurry was cold, shock horror.

Very slow service, whole place messy with ketchup smeared everywhere on tables and the tablets and no-one seems to care, not the best by a mile

My girlfriend and I recently ordered food from here expecting some good food from McDonald’s and the least I can say is this is the worst food service and quality I have ever seen. First of all the bag the delivery turned up in a ripped and damp bag. The food was cold and nearly impossible to try and eat. We also paid extra for sauces which never turned up and neither did our straws. This could a be a health and safety hazard as they should be checking food temperatures even if the food is frozen originally. It’s just common sense. Also the boxes for the burgers etc, were broken and ripped and looked like no care procedures had taken place at all 😂😂

Visited 12.30pm 30/12/24 Very busy, but that's to be expected. Used the self-service machine, food was hot, and the strawberry milkshake did have a slight banana hint to it but overall nice. Chicken mayo had plenty of sauce, and the lettuce looked fresh and green, Overall, the place looked clean and tidy, although it's not huge.

Be prepared to wait and wait and wait

Consistently bad. Takes a very long time. Many times I’ve been waiting 15+ minutes for an order. Order is wrong most of the time as well.

Ordered a large hot chocolate to take away, it was completely tasteless, I think they actually forgot to add any chocolate powder to the water!

Had a delivery 5/6 times over the last months only once has the order been correct. Wrong items sent every single time other than the rare one occasion. Order from the Eastleigh branch more luck getting the food you ordered.

I ordered three different sauces and received none of them. What is going on ? Every time I order there’s always something missing !!

Really disappointed as we placed the order at 17:25 when requested ASAP; and it didn’t arrive until the kids bedtime at 19:00. The chips were cold and plasticky and my hot chocolate was drinkable in one go. The tubs of sauce were also missing. The driver was pleasant enough but overall what was meant to be a treat for a special occasion ended up being ruined.

They forgot one of my large fries.

Delivery was on time. However, the muffins were hard and cold - and looking at the state of the cheese also, they'd obviously just been sat on the side for quite some time.

Items missing from order with McDonald’s which happens on most occasion. Would prefer they get the orders right rather than give me a refund. Orders rarely arrive when estimated. I ordered an add on of sweet and sour sauce which was also missing but replaced with 9 barbecue sauces.. who needs 9 in one order. What a waste.

The SLOWEST McDonalds EVER. One guy ordered a coke and he was stood for 15mins waiting! I also ordered x1 big mac and it took 15 mins. Only when i asked it was given to me! Lots of staff slowly moving around. Loads of bags yet not much doing just one order and getting it out! Needs organising big time!!

Order through app delivery. Food arrived cold, drink spilt. Burger missing. Rang staff who said I now had to come back in to collect or they would send me a meal voucher. This was not sent. Rang back and was told they would send in 30 mins. Not received. How can this franchise be so bad? Should have read the reviews as now seeing this poor food / service is the norm here.

Came in one evening when it was relatively quiet (less than 5 orders). Used machine for my order and printer failed but order went through. Waited 15 minutes and nothing turned up despite the screen showing order ready. When I asked what's happening was told there is no order and they asked for evidence of the order (printer failure meant I couldn't). Eventually convinced them of the order. Asked for the burger to be plain. When it arrived it wasn't . Had to wait again for this to be corrected. Not the first time this has disappeared and I won't go there again for sure. Staff didn't seem too bothered and the Uber orders were their priority. Also ordered a wrap and it was burned. See pics. Update 2024: Still the same. Crazy busy and the receipts are rare to get from the machines. Also the bins were mostly full.

Absolutely awful. First gets order wrong and instead of freshly making a new burger they just took everything off and handed it back to me. That wasn't eaten. Then the chips were obviously cooked and recooked and recooked again so that they are unedible. They then forgot dips. Awful customer service all in all, should be ashamed. If you're in the area and looking for a McDonald's, can't recommend the one at the black swan in swaythling enough. Never had an issue there.

Well if it’s open I always order from here just that the one in town well they have made so many mistakes on my orders things missing ,just wish some people could read ,so Asda McDonalds is my first place to order .

After waiting for an unexplainably long time with our child during a quiet period our order finally materialised! Hallelujah! So we departed having given the staff the benefit of the doubt and awarding them at least some confidence that they could read an order correctly and fulfill it as such, upon arriving home we soon realised we had given them far more credit than they're deserving of. The double bacon and egg muffin which was wrapped in the double bacon wrapper was in fact double sausage; which my partner hates... The coffee was luke warm at best, this is still much warmer than the service we received at the time. Overall this establishment is a complete shambles with staff who need some basic training in how to read an order, let alone fulfill one correctly. I guess it goes without saying, 'if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys!'. A complete disgrace to the McDonald's name, it's no wonder the company is underperforming with establishments like this one. I would steer clear until major improvements have been undertaken.

It is quite an achievement to cook McDonald’s poorly! I’m sure 90% of the public feel they could jump into the kitchen and be cooking with around 5 mins training. Yet somehow this restaurant managed to make one of the worst McDonalds meals I’ve ever had. The chips were overcooked to the point of being dark brown and chewy. They were cold, clearly sitting out for a while and barely salted. I don’t know how many pickle slices a double quarter pounder is supposed to have. Two, three maybe? Around 4 fell out of the burger and a further 6 or 7 were in at. The pickles were soaking wet and dripping as if someone had opened a jar and poured the pickles, juice and all, onto my burger. My chicken selects were like dog chews, again, ridiculously over cooked. I did something I never thought would happen in my life time today; left half a portion of McDonalds fries uneaten! Genuinely astounded. On the plus side the bottle of Tropicana orange juice was prepared perfectly.

This mcdonalds NEVER include the dips with the meals. They could be included with the meal, won't show up. You could pay for the dip, won't show up.

The least friendly McD I have been in for ages. Staff saunter about, talk in grunts and all look thoroughly miserable. Chips are soggy. Orders come up as ready for collection the screen when they are nowhere near ready.

I ordered a mcspicy burger and a chocolate pie The burger was rock hard- as if it had been sitting out for two days. It was a joke, I couldn’t go back because the shop was closing and they wouldn’t let me back in. The pie was mediocre. Old and cold. As if they had just packaged up old food that was to be thrown away.

The delivery guy couldn’t find the house and was expecting us to go down to him instead of him coming to us.

This is the worst McDonald’s I’ve been to, it’s the local branch for delivery, I have ordered a couple of times and both times the food has arrived wrong, cold, and just generally awful. Very slow service in branch as well. Even my child said this is the worst mcdonalds I’ve ever had!

Delivery says delivered and never turned up I am guessing the driver has poor directions and delivered to the wrong house! I have cctv cameras to prove no one turned up. Extremely disappointed poor service. Contacted customer services for refund
