McDonald's in Tunbridge Wells

Classic maccies, food was served hot even the fries, bought over to the table with friendly service

This is not a good place to go to eat in. The service and atmosphere is terrible. It takes ages to get served as they prioritize the drive thru and deliver orders. When you do get served often things with your order will be wrong. If you do go at least sit upstairs. When I last went the app failed to work, I had to wait ages to speak to a manager to correct it and then after waiting ages again they couldn't even assemble my burger correctly!! Update 22/01/25 went during a week day and it's a better experience. Quicker service. Beware when ordering on the machines though, as some do not give you a receipt with your collection number. Luckily, I dare the number before or disappeared from the screen. The staff don't ask for the receipt.

Food is normally cold, cash payment takes ages. Not the quickest service on food either which makes little sense

Worst McDonalds around. We’ve had tens of orders from them and without a doubt, they always miss something out. How do you miss a WHOLE burger from a meal? Train your staff.

Shocking service. Couldn't get the order right twice! First time they didn't give my youngest nuggets in her happy meal and then when I returned, I ask a manager for both my meal (big tasty with bacon meal deal) and my daughter's nugget happy meal to be replaced and for them actually provide nuggets. Unfortunately they took the receipt along with the food and then another member of staff basically proceeded to presume and accuse me of trying to get something for nothing. I then waited ages for their error to be rectified, only to get home and find that my burger was made without the bacon. After a half hour round trip to fix their mess they get 0 for effort and people skills. I will literally tell everyone I know how shocking the T Wells branch is and recommend that they take their hard earned money else where. Fast food this Macdonald's is not. And being unable to complete a basic meal like a happy meal is not going to make any child or for that matter parent happy, in any shape or form. Totally ridiculous. Sort yourselves out Macdonald's Tunbridge Wells.

what can I say, gorgeous man behind the counter identifying himself as "virgin conversion unit". very handsome guy and he gave me a lot of my favourite burgers and he was very charming, will definitely be coming back to see this 6"2 bearded worker with sexy glasses and blue eyes😊

Food was not hot and took a long time to wait to get food. Whenever going through the drive through you always have to get parked up and wait for your food and then when it comes its never hot

Worth the extra drive from Tonbridge!! Im often grateful here, as they are generally always consistently accurate, reasonably prompt & inside you can see that they manage the many demands well. It’s a shame I can’t request deliveries from TunWells rather than Tonbridge!

Ordered the new Terrys chocolate orange pie at the drive through today. Was given an apple pie. Drove back round and was given the right pie, which also turned out to be the wrong pie. Returned for a third time and finally, after an extra 6 min wait, I got the right pie. It was ok. Won’t go back.

There were no fries with our burgers which was part of the deal, tried to complain but not heard anything back.

Despite being extremely busy, our food was good, as you would expect at McDonald's.

Well what can I say about McDonald's Tunbridge wells if an order is not missing items or the send the wrong items and that was the last 3 orders this order had a hear in it and then it dose not help that just eat dose little to nothing to sort it out, it's a case of we have your money so f##k off attitude and it's time customers of just eat to boycott, just eat because there getting to big for their boots attitude toward customers, so a day of no custom might see them change their attitude.

my order time kept getting later and later before even leaving McDonald's to then receive my food cold chips cold burger cold the only thing I'm happy about is the milkshake but atleast the delivery driver was nice

I ordered at 4:45 finally received at 7:35. I tried to cancel but was told I'd be charged full price if I did. when I first ordered it said it would be delivered at 5:15. for over an hour and a half it said the courier was waiting for my order yet when I telephoned she said they were asigning a courier. I'm very disappointed with your service and will have to reconsider using you in future

took nearly two hours to be delivered, i ordered at 17.30 and it arrived at 19.25

I ordered at 7pm. My daughter couldn’t wait a grinch happy meal. she fell asleep very disappointed .waited for my order for 4 hours. Never again

I ordered 2 double sausage and egg muffin meals one was as normal but the other was without the egg but added an extra sausage but the did remove the egg but did not add the sausage this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks that mac Donald's has gotten it wrong on a previous order for 2 double bigmac meals we got 1 double and on normal meal no refund on the extra I paid and the other order we ordered 2 apple pies and did not recive them and no refund so it nearly up to £8 owed from mc Donald's/ just eat

Ordered food last night, got home with happy meal and extra value meal only to find I had been given 2 drinks and no food not even in the happy meal, juts been in to complain and see what can be done and been laughed at by management and they walked off and didn’t wanna resolve the matter. Still happy to take the money and this was done by drive thru

don't order with these, it will just say preparing your order til they can be bothered to get a delivery driver. although they may have prepared it 40 mins before it got here as everything bar the selects was freezing cold. a small chips in a large chip box but not the end of the world because they were inedible anyway. just eat has been a fine waste of money recently

There were items missing in my order which was Macdonalds fault.

You delivered us the wrong food, this is the third time in a row you've left something out of our order and now you've given us someone else's things

Probably the worst drive thru I've ever been too. The girl who took our order was rude when we asked for a couple of seconds till we decided what to order. Then told us to wait when we had decided. They had no coke syrup or cheese bites... she got our order wrong, We finally managed to get it sorted at the 3rd window and told to park up and the food was still wrong?! We ended up going to KFC from pure disappointment and didn't even want to go round again because everyone was so slack

Absolute joke. Placed an order at 10:15 (breakfast) on the app. It is now 11:45 and my order is 'still being prepared'. Meanwhile, 3 delivery drivers have wasted their time for me, and the food clearly hasn't been made and now won't be (as is lunch/day menu). Phoned them, cut me off without answering. No recourse through app and no recourse speaking directly to someone. No food, no refund. Class. This is all aside from the fact that this is one of the worst McDonald's I've ever eaten from, which is saying something. Do yourself a favour and avoid this steaming pile of disappointment.

Really disappointing. The delivery is now unusable . Large amounts of food have been missing from at least 5 orders. We’ve requested refunds so many times über eats now thinks we are trying to scam them. It’s a shame as what turns up is generally good. When I say missing food I don’t mean missing a drink I mean two full meals from a 4 meal order. Also out of fries today, it happens you run out of stuff delivery doesn’t turn up etc But it still allows you to order it on the app with no notification. The app should really be shut off in such circumstances but store staff probably are not allowed to do this. We will be giving this place a miss for a while. Edit: Tried again. Burger 2 drinks and dips missing. Give up.

Went to the drive through at 11.05. Just the two cars in front. We had to park up. I guess it's normal if there is a queue ... Which a long one was now forming. 11.35 got food. So not so much of a drive through. I don't know why it took so long. Don't think the staff were off having their service with a smile training. Can't blame them for being moody really. Probably understaffed. Will probably go back though because might not be so bad next time and I do love cold fries.

very unhappy as over half of my order was missing this isnt the first time with Mc Donald's, so I won't be ordering with again.

We caught the driver drinking the latte and claims he don’t drink coffee and we saw it in his car this is not acceptable

this gets worse everytime!!! Not only was it late there was also missing items which can I just state I PAID FOR! Small fries and the dips I’d like a FULL REFUND £24.79 not just half the money back this is absolutely ridiculous I will NOT be ordering from here again!

Really really slow. Taking so many JUST eat and Uber orders that if you are in drive thru or ordering inside it takes ages. Fast food it isn't.

This is not fast food, food always takes ages. my 100 year old Nan can move faster than some of the people packing the food, and she’s dead. Food normally cold, probably the worse McDonalds I’ve ever been to.

I’ll start of by the drive thru - in the early morning around 6:50am we are served by a lady called Janice who is so welcoming and lovely, she also had a laugh which is nice to hear in the mornings and I don’t think her serve get enough credit. When we receive our food from the next window we are served by someone called Susanana who is so bubbly welcoming, make sure all food is correct before we leave, she also apologies for any waiting time even if this is for a few seconds. She then also waves goodbye to us and wishing us a lovely day again her service goes unnoticed. Now let’s talk about in store - in store we’ve had mixed reviews about (recently) it has been on the unpleasant side - where we’ve had rudeness by the workers (understandably they are very busy at times) but your customer service shouldn’t go down hill because of a bad day. We have to sometimes wait like an hour for food and then for it to come stone cold is ridiculous. My delivery orders (we do order a lot) however it’s always late, never on time, comes stone cold and then when trying to complain no help can be given. I just want to say as an overall review / opinion (Janice and susanana) are incredible people and you are super lucky to have them work for you. The service in the morning by these top people and these two along is incredible everyone else’s service is shockingly bad and I’m surprised half of them was given a job :)

Sorry, four stars for the food but the rest was excellent.

There was no chocolate shapes or chocolate sauce on the McFlurries, also the chips were cold and floppy.

Sometimes I find the chips are hot and the burger is sometimes warm, the hot drink warm.

Always quick service. Sometimes orders are incorrect but always happy to correct them without problem.
