What a refreshing change getting fast food! First time visiting this McDs when travelling through the area, on a Saturday lunch time. Modern feel, super clean, fresh tasty food and friendly staff. We ate it so fast I didn’t have time to take any photos. Would highly recommend and definitely visit again. Keep up the good work! Thank you

Waste bins overflowing, toilets disgraceful and tables not cleared with rubbish and food everywhere due to people not being able to put their food in the bins. Severely short staffed. Waited 20 minutes for food and the burgers were stone cold. I was with my 5 year old grandson and didn't want to disappoint him by leaving. I attempted to go to the counter to complain about the burgers being cold but there were that many people waiting at the tills I would have been stood there forever waiting to talk to someone. £42 not well spent.

Quality of food is starting to drift. Food presentation can be poor, drinks are often short measured and ice cream cones are a lottery on how little ice cream you get. Disappointing. Updated review 09/04/24 No real change to my original review. Getting a whole meal that is all fresh is very much a lottery, normally something is cold. It seems to have gone down since covid, and the increase in home deliveries has made things slower/worse. Can take or leave McD's. Updated review 09/06/24 Had one meal that everything was fresh, hot and the correct amount, thought I'd make the day! No different to most fast food places tbh. None seem to care anymore. Update 09/10/24 See recent meal I got. Superb presentation! quarter pounder falling apart and triple cooked chips. That's me done. Too many times being ripped off with food that's cold/thrown together, and generally no care. Poor McDonald's, very very poor.

I work as Ubereats & Justeat delivery driver. Picking up orders from McDonald's Rawtenstall is a nightmare. Always running Late, 15, 20 minutes late is normal even if its not busy. The Manager should look into this matter as its very frustrating for delivery drivers. Picking up orders from Accrington McDonald's is alot easier & quicker. I hope my review brings some change in McDonald's Rawtenstall! 👍

Not on for leaving bad reviews but Christ on a bike who’s taught these lot to build burgers? Every single time it looks like Harvey price has made it then thrown it at the wall, ketchup seeping out the wrapper, buns folded in half, half the patty missing. Service does not exist anymore these days. Ever since opening this particular McDonald’s has been a laughing stock, I personally know people who have worked there and been the manager and they will say the same thing. It’s really not rocket science is it.

This McDonald's is very hit and miss when it comes to service, sometimes it's really busy but food seems to come quick and at other times it's dead and food takes ages. The last time I went the 2 lattes we ordered, 1 was hot and 1 stone cold so had to return 1 and get another, The time before on the way home late from a christening we went through the drive through, realised they had forgotten a wrap so went it to complain and got another wrap, arrived home with the food only to realise they'd also forgotten a double cheese burger too, I checked the receipt and I had paid for it, appalling they nearly forgot 2 items. Also what's Unbelievable is that McDonald's a place where you get families including babies and toddlers and it does not even have a baby changing facility, so I avoid this place at times having a baby in tow.

I was dining in at MacDonalds rawtenstall and ordering food at breakfast for table service and ordering food at dinner for table service when the time went past 11 and as I ordered my seperate food for breakfast and dinner the shift manager Kaleigh got increasingly frustrated at having to deliver my food which I paid for to my table before asking me and my friends to leave as we are ordering our own food separately to be delivered to the table. When she delivered the last lot of food she changed the order from eat in to take out without my choice and attempt to make me and my friends leave before threating us with a ban and slamming my friends food on the table.

Avoid. Food often under cooked and the red haired assistant manager this morning refused to get me her manager (Fri 24th May 24) then argued the food was cooked when it was literally cold. Breakfast muffin looked like it had been kicked around the kitchen before wrapping. The red haired rude and nasty individual who antagonised and argued her food was cooked as it had been in the oven for required amount of time was nasty, clearly has no experience in management and seemed to enjoy showing her staff how she was speaking to me. Disgusting cold food and cold attitude from staff who you'd hope would help. Taking your money. Rushing the cooking then refusing to accept your complaint of cold food. The moment you get upset or show any anger it's an excuse to pull the don't speak to me like that. Then refuse to speak to you. And this was on the drive thru. This place needs closing !!! We turned up at 1-30 am after a gig, one car in front of us waited 10 minutes for him to be served. The guy on speaker order We couldn't understand a bloody word he was saying!! Finally the guy in front left. 2 cars behind us now. They brought 2 drinks after 10 minutes which were not ours! What an Absolutely disgusting experience even worser due to a manager called ELEANOR can only assume as to why she acted the way she did. Waited 20mins for my food after it had gone to collect and disappeared off the screen (seems like a very regular occurance at this brance) many customers after me came and went , After enquiring about my order to a so called manager ginger hair IMMATURE little girl called ELEANOR who has no communication skills and lacks every other skill possible to be a manger (no idea how she got a manger role can only assume must be a shortage of workers or she wasn't hired due to her merits and that definitely shows) told me I had to keep waiting ??? After telling her I had waited 20 mins and customers had come and gone after me she replied like a robot without any emotions or facial expressions whatsoever( however in fairness it could of been due to the layers of makeup glued to her skin like a leach stuck to its prey refusing to budge) that I had to keep waiting in a very rude manner. I finally got my food I checked the time stamp to see how long it had been ready which showed 18.00 about 30 mins ago, after pointing this out to the so called manager ELEANOR who showed via her demina and attitude she was displaying that she didn't really want to be there and was not bothered which isnt professional at all ( if you dont want to be there and it shows clear as daylight through your behaviour, attitude and actions then why not find another job instead of belittling peope enjoy life, live a little and allow someone else who is qualified and willing to do so instead) she was not at all concerned about how long the food was ready or if it was cold but more concerned about me zipping my bag properly even though i had done so but was not to her liking very petty and immature behaviour. She didn't seem that concered about all the others before myself that didn't even bother hence i feel she was discriminating against myself( can only assume cause I enquired about my food which was probably something she hadn't encountered previously and never knew how to deal with the situation). To the extent that she followeded me out the shop in a very IMMATURE , aggressive and confrontational manner and kept chasing me like a bully in a playground which just escalated the situation even more, again clearly showing no relevant experience in life to hold such a post cause actions like this just add fuel to the fire no idea what outcome she was looking for for but my procative behaviour all over not zipping up a bag to HER satisfactory standards shocking. Honestly think the owners of this franchise need to train their staff to treat all their customers equally regardless of who they are as it seems to be an ongoing issue in this particular branch, where employees seem to think they can treat a select few of their customers as they wish absolutely disgusting to say the least.

Macdonald's. No atmosphere. Pictured play area is closed since COVID. I placed my drive thru order at the microphone and by the time I'd made It round to the pay window. They added everyone else's order on to mine. I paid for my coffee and cheeseburger and when I got to the collection window, there was a new guy doing his best whilst being barked at by some sergeant major supervisor. I was handed my brew and sent to the next window by the trainee on the instructions of miss trunchbull. Half an hour later somebody opened the window and a lady asked why I was waiting there. I said I just wanted my cheeseburger. She ran off and after a while the trainee from before was sent like a lamb to the slaughter To see me. He presented me with the saddest, coldest, least appetising cheeseburger you've ever seen, not even in a bag, just thrust at me. By this time the coffee id bought to go with the limp anaemic burger was stone cold too. I got in touch with customer services after going round in circles with the AI help-bot for must of a day and a helpful service agent offered me two complimentary meals. I was sent "two " vouchers by email. When I came to redeem my vouchers, only one of them was valid. If you have a problem with Macdonald's complain. Inundate then with complaints, complain until they give you the keys to the safe. It's the only way they'll learn

Appalling customer service experience from manager. Went through Drive-Thru, smallish order, parked up. opened up food, noticed large banana milkshake ordered was actually a medium vanilla. It was also very watery and not cold. Nipped in to counter with it for an exchange, only to be questioned for receipt with a glare by the staff member. Received the new one, with no hint of apology or acknowledgement of error. Walked back to car only to find same error again, returned to restaurant again to find who i assume is the manager (may be wrong) stood at the door like a bouncer. Having informed her of the issue, proceeded to again demand the receipt and lecture me about my 'opportunities' to check my order in the drive-thru, forgetting the second exchange was at the counter. The two times to get my order correct in the first place lost on her. Then advising it it maybe the banana syrup machines fault and she would check it, all the while having me standing outside on the restaurant doorstep. Again no hint of acknowledge of error, just another bolshy, combative customer's fault. I left her stood at the door, having given up. wow, never seen or experienced this before in a macs...a wide berth for this place in future. Zero *

I placed an order on the McDonald’s app, but upon arriving at the restaurant, I found it closed. When I called, they explained they were updating the system and would reopen in 30 minutes. My reason for leaving this review is that such closures seem to happen frequently at night with various excuses. The drive-through is blocked, lights are off, giving the impression they might not want customers at night, perhaps even sleeping in the back. Additionally, they often claim to be out of food and display a consistently poor attitude. There's a concern about the hygiene practices of the staff, as it appears they might neglect washing their backside. This aspect contributes to an overall dissatisfaction with the cleanliness standards at the establishment. I observed staff members at night who seem to defy the expectation that women don't have chin hair. Encountering individuals with such facial hair, reminiscent of the Grinch, adds to the peculiar and off-putting experiences during my visits.

Slow service everytime I've visited.. When sitting in with my children the staff walking round do nothing but complain and some even swear!

I should have given a review a long time ago but today was the final straw. This must be the 5th time AT LEAST that this branch has got an order wrong. The incompetent staff honestly haven’t got a clue and the customer service is a disgrace! I had to back yet again and this time I asked at the first window for a free item the same as the item that was missing off the order. The girl at the window said this wasn’t an issue and then at the next window they refused to give the free item. Absolute joke of a place and to be fair to McDonald’s whatever people’s opinions are of the food this has absolutely nothing to do with the taste or quality of the food it’s the horrendous service you receive time after time at this branch. If you really want a McDonald’s drive 2 miles and go to the Rising Bridge branch as the service there is 1st class every time

Had a double quarter pounder and cheese meal. I always do as I am a man of refined tastes and epicurean desires. One star removed for service as one time a lass dropped my diet coke into my lap when going through the drive thru. How we laughed

Does not accept student or military IDs which is the only branch I've seen with this policy. Medium fries arrived half empty which is disappointing, the food was hot though which good.

I previously ordered food! Absolute terrible service! Took over an hour to turn up was told on the phone there was 'too much traffic', this is at 10 to 6pm! It is now 25 to 8...food finally gets here& ive paid cash...the hash browns i ordered did not turn up...i finish my food around 15 minutes ago...and i rang the restaurant to tell them my hash browns didnt turn up; i am currently still waiting for the hash browns but when i just phoned up i was told the traffic is bad once again. I was spoken to so rudely down phone. I am disgusted as a paying customer to be treated like this. I understand it being a friday night...but if youve ordered food and paid already and something off the order has been forgotton surely you are 1st priority to send that item out to the paying customer. I rated this place one star. But wish i could rate it zero!! Disgusting.

jokers whoever is on burger station. calm down with the lettuce and look at the order at hand, you might get it right. management get some control of your staff it happens all too often especially late at night !!
